During Sky's coverage of the Liverpool game did I hear the suggestion that Wolves wanted to get rid of VAR because of the number of decisions that had gone against them.? In what part of wolves statement did it say that? Personally I am so proud of nature, content and tone of the Wolves statement . We've gone where others fear to tread. May not be the biggest club but we e got the biggest balls.

20 May 2024 14:52:45
Hope we drop Castore for Season 2024/25. I do not like the material. No shirts for me if we stick with Castore. Newcastle have terminated their contract with Castore. Aston Villa may do the same.

20 May 2024 14:37:21
Can anyone explain why Podence was sent out on loan? Top scorer, always working hard. Surely it can't be because he's short? Otherwise Maradona would have played for Accrington Stanley.

20 May 2024 16:01:41
Because he’s not good enough. Great at rolling about like he’s been shot.

20 May 2024 16:09:22
Aparently he likes a sulk and was disrupting things behind the scenes.

20 May 2024 16:13:27
If I remember correctly it was because he became more bit petulant and arrogant when he found that he was not always a first choice in team selection. Threw his toys out of the pram.

20 May 2024 16:25:20
Whatever, Podence did ok during his time at Wolves apart from his rolling around but he did well during a very unsettled period for Wolves. See what happens between GON and Olympiacos but I wouldn’t mind him coming back. If he had remained this season I’m sure we would have finished a few places higher.

20 May 2024 17:00:27
All of the above plus he said he didn't want to be at the club.

19 May 2024 23:05:41
Rumours circulating were going for che Adams, not sure about him tbh.
Our form over the last 10 games is worrying, though I do think if fosun back GON and with a full pre season it could be an interesting season.
I predict Neto will be sold to give GON funds to strengthen the team, don't want to see Pedro go as he's our best player but he is injury prone so not sure we will get 60mil for him, let's all hope we do spend this summer or we could be in trouble.
JEFF SHI OUT!

20 May 2024 06:05:50
Everyone seems so confident that Neto will be sold but who exactly will be willing to pay the £50m+ that we'd want for a player so injury prone? No one, that's who.

20 May 2024 07:06:56
Agree Manurthys, I haven't understood for 3 seasons now why Shi is allowed to mismanage our Club!

20 May 2024 09:45:30
How has he mismanaged the club? Are we in danger of breaching FFP like Everton and Forest did? Are we in massive debt like Villa, Palace, Fulham, Arsenal and Newcastle?

20 May 2024 10:31:44
I fear Neto will leave for a cut price but with an appearance bonuses payment.

20 May 2024 11:03:09
You always look on the negative with shi Rugeley.
You never look past that.
Accept what we have or forever be confused and hacked off.

20 May 2024 12:07:37
Jas.not this again. You keep telling me the CEO is responsible for all things good and bad.
FFP a mega issue last year and
we are told we still have to be cautious this coming season.
So what are you now saying?

20 May 2024 12:22:24
Phil, I love our Club.
It has been a brilliant season, we have now survived well in the end, 2 seasons running.
For us, to not just survive, but to thrive, we need decent leadership from the top.
If the odd fan does not see that, I am sorry.
On all Forums you will see the vast majority of fans say the same as myself.
If it is not a view you share, not a problem.
Seeing our Club do well is what we all want.

20 May 2024 14:29:18
And Rugeley, all you ever bang on about is tge Fabio Silva signing which doesn't actually impact our financial situation as it falls outside of the 3 year period.

Remind me again who oversaw the Lemina, Gomes, Hwang, Dawson, AIT, Cunha signings. Why do you never mention the positives, only the negatives?

20 May 2024 14:44:21
Alot of fans have blinkered views when things aren't going as well as they did a few seasons ago. Who brought us the good times then? Oh yea, duh. Sure the partings of some may have contributed to our dropping from those heights, but new faces are in place, we're not in financial concern and we're in a new position to move forwards again. Blaming Shi all the time is not a realistic observation. He's too quiet and generally keeps himself to himself to prevent misconceptions, maybe over so, but we can't keep anchoring down to it. What Fosun and Shi have given us as been some of the best football we've seen, how can that now be criticised over and over?

20 May 2024 14:51:34
Rugeley you're the odd one or two on this site.
Only you bang on about shi the same thing repeated for last 3 years.

I've been on other sites and are mostly moaners talking codswallop.
I've seen them sat by them at the match and why pay money to go and moan.
Stupid and annoying.
I see you as not one of them but don't you think I feel the same about our club.
Don't you think I'm frustrated that there's being no ground development, the way we made bad signings,
Covid the intense worry financially for all ofcworkd football, the long term injury for our star striker,
The introduction of VAR, the new ffp added rules.

It's common fans know better how to run a football.
But best part of 40 years we've hardly been in the top flight year om year of disappointment, now we are established top flight so that's good right?

Lastly you could see and acknowledge others like myself point of view about shi fosun the running of our club but you never do its black and white for you no middle ground that's my big issue.
As I feel I'm being told by you that what you say is the only actual way.
If it is then I make my own mind up.

I hear talk to locals (Wednesfield)they tell me it's
fosun not shi.
So there more to it.

Ps I'm not good at social media and apologise for my grammar and how I come across

I tried to be as nice and polite and proper genuine as I can.

The Shi Out thing is Shi Ite. He is doing a job that not many here would have any idea where to start.
Hobbs is dealing with the football side, Jeff is juggling the money.

20 May 2024 17:02:58
Funnily enough, Wolves have been voted one of the better run clubs. As soon as we found out the financial issues, we dealt with them unlike at least 8 PL clubs.

19 May 2024 21:09:53
Glad the season is over. A massive summer now for us. We have to strengthen attackers and defenders. We need atleast 6-7 players coming in that can help. Get rid of the deadwood to free up some space and funds. A lot of people want to get rid of Doc but to be fair to him, he knows where the net is and actually makes intelligent runs and usually tries his hardest. A good squad player for me.

Overall I think it has been a pretty disappointing season. When we got to the point of being close to top 6, the fact we have just fallen off, losing 8 games out of the last 11 has left me with a sour taste in my mouth. Just very frustrating and disappointing to be honest. Hoping for a positive summer.

20 May 2024 06:56:32
We in much better position at the end of this season than most would of expected.
Huge doubts with rookie manager GON,
The needed required overhaul of aging squad etc etc.

Yes VAR has been atrocious for us and we've had the most wrong decisions but other than that there's huge hope.

So it's alright for Mac Allister to jump in with 2 feet?

19 May 2024 21:50:58
Yes because he plays for one of the protected big 6 frauds.

19 May 2024 22:00:10
He is a Liverpool player. VAR has become a cynical way too control the outcome of the game. We all knew this would happen. Either a penalty or a red card. Don't let Wolverhampton destroy the party. See you all next season.I am going fishing. Have a lovely summer. Proud to be a wolves supporter

19 May 2024 18:39:32
So now City are crowned champions again does anyone know when they are going to face their day of judgement over the alleged 110 or so charges?

19 May 2024 19:10:16
Do you think it will happen.
Proves how money has corrupted football, especially for the so called top teams.
It's so obvious. Yet no one does anything to the top teams
All they do is line each others pockets. Along with the agents
Football as we knew it. Is no more
Very sad times

19 May 2024 19:10:46
I read somewhere Autumn is pencilled in but no date or location will be announced before the meeting. If I've understood correctly.

19 May 2024 19:41:35
I've no interest in Manchester City, no pun intended, but it's a house built on sand. They're a manufactured club, manufactured via heavy investment. Like Chelsea were.

But the PL need to investigate, there's no point in dragging Everton, or Forest over hot coals if City get away scott free.

19 May 2024 20:06:40
It won't happen. A 'rap on the knuckles' a 'don't do it again' warning. Think that's the most they'll get.

19 May 2024 20:48:34
Nothing significant will happen to City, all that Saudi money buys a lot of favours. Var is so crooked they don't even try to hide their bad decisions now, as soon as the Semedo tackle went to var it was obvious what would happen, if it had been the other way round I doubt if it would have warranted a yellow. No way they would upset the Kop.

20 May 2024 17:34:49
They won't admit to guilt but will pay a £25 million fine. That's how it will be resolved.
My prediction, anyway.

19 May 2024 17:01:26
This is why VAR needs to go.

Semedo's tackle on MacAllister was high but was a yellow card offence. But why was the fact that MacAllister went into that challenge 2 footed not looked at?

19 May 2024 17:12:10
VAR also never looked at VVDs shove on Cunha in the area.
Then again Cootes is on var so there you go.

19 May 2024 17:35:51
I thought it could have been a red, the ref gave the yellow, no need for VAR to poke their noses in this last game. RAN Chuna, why can't you just shoot? Should be 2-1 at time of posting. Great save from Sa again.

19 May 2024 18:18:29
And VAR again, I know it gets boring, yes Docs arm was offside, his foot was behind tho, technically he's off and this just shows how the laws have been made to benefit VAR and not the sporting movements of players. Sense must take us back to the fundamentals of movement and sporting abilities and not digital imagery. Get football back.
The match itself? We were always onto a loser here but we didn't really look to have a will, RAN Gomez Sa exceptions. A tad understandable, especially after Samedos dismissal. Just glad we wernt on the end of a hammering again. Oh well that's another season over, FA cup hopes, European hopes and finally 14th. At least we'll be in the prem again 24/25. Who'll still be with us who'll be the new kids in town we'll see in due course. There'll be plenty to discuss before then I'm sure.
Meanwhile, happy holidays to one and all.

19 May 2024 18:50:39
Just a footnote to say although Fulham moved above us I’m not too disappointed and wish we had the scorers of their first three goals playing for us at Anfield today. (Adama and Raul (2)

19 May 2024 20:14:33
I turned the game off after Semado got sent off so can't contribute to any discussions after that. Liverpool were always going to win today it just became a non contest for me when we were robbed of a player. I fully agree that it was a poor challenge, but if a Liverpool player had done that to a Wolves player it would have been at worst a yellow card.

19 May 2024 20:48:17
I'm so glad this season is over. VAR has ruined our great game. The Authorities inability to punish Man City has meant that we are now in a league where Man City dominate and everyone else plays for 2nd place.

Richard Masters said 2 weeks ago that Man City would be dealt with soon but apparently, this has been pushed back to October. WTAF is going on?

Also, I thought if a multi club owner had 2 clubs qualify for the same Euro competition, one would have to drop out. So how have Man City and Girona both in the Champions League? Oh yeah, that's right. Girona had a change of ownership about 2 months ago meaning they circumnavigated the rules again.

19 May 2024 16:38:58
I hate VAR.
