Look a flying pig.

2.) 07 Mar 2024 18:44:04
Let's assume that this is correct is this a replacement for Dan Bentley (out of contract I think) or is Sa looking to leave.

3.) 11 Mar 2024 11:11:17
I think Johnstone would be number 1 Bentley number 2.
Sa would have to be sold.

It's August 2024.
Gary remains as manager, no fitness issues, we have sold 3 and brought in 5.
What's your starting 11?

WATERLOO

1.) 10 Apr 2024 06:03:02
Depends on who was sold and who was bought!

Did he sell Kilman, Joao and Cunha and replace them with Araujo, Bellingham, Camavinga, Haaland and Mbappe or 5 players from non league?

2.) 10 Apr 2024 06:54:12
That's all abit hypothetical waterloo, let's wait and see what the movements are, in out and shaking about as it were. We could be a largely different team to what we've seen this year.

3.) 10 Apr 2024 08:21:59
One thing I truly believe is that come August 2024 we will be stronger and better than this season.
New players of which will be GON'S first of his own signings.
GON'S first full close season.
Surely we will have a pre season tour not falling through like last two, a money and club profile making.

4.) 10 Apr 2024 19:37:31
Well said Phil, we need a pre season tour to market the club and increase our profile for potential investors.
Regarding 3 player outs - Silva, Geddes and Podence.
We should be in a much stronger position next season. Get any new signings in early so the team can hit the new season running.

It's Tuesday morning and looking forward to the Forrest game with West Ham fiasco now a distant memory.
Dawson needs to come back in, Kilman been very poor since Dawsons injury.
Is Hwang near to playing again?
Hopefully Ait Norri will be fit as he was key in what I thought was one of best first half team performance at home this season.
Forest game will wide open, fighting for their lives, Wood always scores against us.Will be happy with a draw and 10 points from our remaining games.

I find it very frustrating regarding what comes out of Wolves regarding injury progress. Regardless it does say Ryan's injury wasn't too serious and he should be ok for the W/E. Yes getting the players back is great, but it takes time for them to pick up any sort of good form, although at least we'll pose a threat. For me Dawson is key. We have looked awful without him organising the back line. Wood always used to Bully Coady, not sure he'll do that against Dawson (Hopefully). I still like Nuno and what he did for our club, but I really hope we batter them 0-3 is my prediction.

03 Apr 2024 00:16:13
If Forest get relegated would Chris Woods be a good signing for next season?

WATERLOO

1.) 03 Apr 2024 01:36:55
I asked something similar a while ago but got shot down. He is a professional and doesn’t seem to rock the boat by being a squad player. He has 10 goals so far this season and knows where the net is for sure. He is 32 so maybe worth a punt as a squad player. He would be cheap so that suits wolves to a tee. Better than Chè Adams’s anyway.

2.) 03 Apr 2024 10:43:04
Not sure he is any better than Che Adams, they are both Champ strikers. I think what it is likely to come down is which player is most suited to the way we play. Think with the speed at which we counter not entirely sure where a fairly slow target man (Woods) fits into that?! Whilst I don't rate Che Adams especially highly I do still think his pace and work on the wings makes him more suited to our system ?

3.) 03 Apr 2024 10:54:19
His EPL career stats are about 65 from 210 appearances at lower end sides, I include Newcastle as the two seasons and 4 goals from 35 appearances was when they were struggling.

I suppose it depends if GON can integrate him into the system as he seems to provide little in the way of assists.

With a fit Neto and Cunha alongside he could be a good shout at the right price, but yes at 32 he's not going to start every game.

Braithwaite in England squad?!
Is Southgate mad?
Kilman ignored. disgraceful!

WATERLOO

1.) 14 Mar 2024 20:51:10
Podence scores again.

2.) 15 Mar 2024 10:51:07
I really struggle with Southgate's decision- making.
Why waste 2 squad places on Maguire, occasional Premiership player and Henderson, playing in Junior European League?
If he thinks they are a good influence, take them as Backroom Staff, don't waste the chance to look at fringe players.
With our squad, we should win the Euros easily, sadly with Southgate, as we have seen on 2 other big opportunities, he tends to snatch defeat from the Jaws of victory.

3.) 15 Mar 2024 11:54:23
My resding is that Southgate is on his way after the Euros and he's staying loyal to his players, leaving the next manager to wield the axe. In fairness he's been the most successful manager for a while so why upset anyone

4.) 15 Mar 2024 12:49:24
I think people are upset because he has had a great crop of players and they have not won anything. When they were playing well in the final against Italy his negative tactics caused them to lose that game. He is a terrible manager.

5.) 15 Mar 2024 17:19:49
Hi Waterloo,
Really this just shows how biased everything in the PL is to me. Braithwaite picked for the England squad. All this does is help out Everton financially. If they sell in the summer it adds a few more £Million to his value. That's the only reason why I can see he's been picked.

Fabio, love the guy.Never given a real chance at Wolves but see continual development with each loan move.We need extra guns up front and would buy additional striker in summer but also keep Fabio and see if he can take his chance when given it.Dont forget how young he still is.

1.) 13 Mar 2024 18:03:59
Not another thread about Fabio ;) ……. On another note there’s a few posts in other posts that might have been missed. Including one from BoSWolf asking for help if anyone has any ideas.

2.) 13 Mar 2024 18:38:54
Haha agreed Goat buddy, I've had all my Fabio rants for one week ? so not going to say much more. Only point I would make is that in the current FFP climate no club the size of ours can afford to keep a £60k a week player unless they are regularly playing! I (ironically:) agree with others that the big wage isn't his fault but in reality it plays a VERY real part in any decision that's made on his future. Cause I would be amazed if Rangers are paying anymore than 50% of his wages; so essentially at the moment (not blaming him:) BUT despite playing for Rangers he's STILL taking up a squad wage (£30k) just by having a contract at the club. Next season he either needs to be part of the team or he needs to go, just the nature of the realities of FFP these days I'm afraid ?

3.) 14 Mar 2024 08:32:03
BoSWolf, ties on Ebay £8.99.

We keep improving in many areas, a lot of positives from yesterday's performance.
Had Ryan finished the first half chance probably different game. Two errors for the goals the difference.First goal switched off, 2nd goal Tommy gives it away middle of park.
Looking forward to remaining games.Dawson back along with Cunha and Hwang, 9 games left, Europe still alive. And don't say we don't need Europe!Stepping stone to top 5, I mean Villa Champs League next season, we are better and but for slow start and small squad/ injuries would be up there.Dont leave Gary!

Lots of negativity today.
Ait Norri injury was pivotal. The wind was a factor and Antonio starting 2nd half also significant.
Two defensive howlers but first half performance with movement from Sarabia and link play of Rayan and workrate of Tommy, Jao and Mario awesome.
All changed with Rayan injury.
My concern has been Kilman for several weeks, he looks shot.
Let's be positive been a lot better season than we thought if you look back to August. Not ready for Europe.

Take a point away at Burnley in grim conditions and lightweight squad.Well done Gary, always seems to have a plan, I know Burnley a bit miffed but we had a couple of good chances to take all 3 points.
Cunha back is great news.No one seems to mention Dawson, we need him back as Kilman and Toti need his experience.

FA cup draw conspiracy theoris!?
Cov game a banana skin but think we have enough without the injuries to cross the line.Rumour is Cunha maybe on bench but personally wouldn't risk him after what happened to Neto.
As for the semis you take what you are given and clearly would not want city or Liverpool. However they are are all tough Inc Chelsea/Leicester.
Personally would love Wolves Man Utd final.

I very much hope Bellegarde proves his critics wrong tomorrow, I was at Newcastle game and the whole team performance was not great.
He wouldn't be starting if all players available and fit but it's a squad game and Gary has created a great squad mentality.
