I really do think that Fosun are selling the assets ready for a new investor to buy us. The only issue is that we will be in the Championship.

They can't come out this afternoon and say that the star assets will only be sold for huge prices then 8 hours later sell Nunes for the same price we paid for him a year ago. I'm sure Sporting also had a sell on clause inserted.

If things are to be believed, starting line up after deadline day will be:- Bentley, Doherty, Dawson, Kilman, Ait Nouri, Gomes, Lemina, Traore, Hwang, Sarabia, Kalajdzic. Obviously the bench would be threadbare but on an optimistic point of view it's actually not a bad starting line up! ?

After just 48 hours after the announcement that no Wolves 'stars' are up for sale we get the Nunes to City rumour.

This will be the acid test of the owners integrity.

I watched a preview thing a few weeks back and a pundit suggested that if Sheffield United and Luton were 'certs' to go down then that would mean only one other side to drop, and that some owners might then take a gamble on it not being them and hold back on the investment side.

That said, I'm beginning to think there's something in the sale rumours. I still don't buy the 'open letter' stuff and the economic troubles in China must have an influence on Fosun's plans. And though I joked about it before, what exactly was Uncle Jorge doing there on Saturday alongside Guangchang and Shi- we're clearly not in the market for incoming players so is he there to oversee exits? He's a busy man and has plenty of places to be.

Whichever way I look at it I'm worried

Handsome, its not so much "were you lying" as offer to good to refuse but it is more what happens to the money from the sale of Nunes? Is it use to reinvest in players or just goes into the bank account?
That's the question that will provide answers
