I saw the highlights of the Doncaster game. It seemed like Fer Lopez was active as a 10. Multiple through balls by him and he was willing to take some shots outside the box. Maybe he could be that CAM we desperately need after Cunha left.

Thoughts from anyone who saw the full game and offer more thoughts on Fer Lopez performance overall?

Didn't see the full game, NJ, but his performance definitely helped to keep the team going forward in line with Peixoto's attacking mantra.

In other news, I see CONCACAF have told Infantino/FIFA to do one as well.

Yes, LongmyndWolf. Good, Infantino got slapped a bit. FIFA needs new leadership. Unfortunately, it seems they go from corrupt to more corrupt leaders each time.

On another side note, I really like the white away kit. I prefer white or black for away, not some weird colour. Save that weirdness for the 3rd kit.

Fer Lopez will be one of the best 10s in the league, I think. He has the quality to be an awesome cam.

Watched the game and, despite Lopez and Rodrigo looking ahead of the rest, we still lack a MF to join Andre, a CB to dominate, Toti Mosq too unreliable, a GK who can predict and react quicker than Bently.
We need that 'spine' that so often is found in successful clubs.
Hugo seemed a bit hot or miss, mind not on it?
The young lad Sutherland committed too many mistakes, maybe nerves.
Lima is frustrating, gets in position, then mucks it up.
I thought Doyle and Armstrong linked well in the first half, and Armstrong could well turn out to be a favourite with fans.


Kreiji and Tripper, enough said.
Mane, decision-making could be quicker, Edioze, got the potential but not the experience.
Chiawa (apologies spelling), ditto Edioze.
Tchchoua, his mind not with us? A shame.
Things may well change, we've Raul for a start, Santi, Hwang, who knows. Sa, I fear not.
Will we see a couple more players com8ng in?
We're leaving it late if we are, and, as it stands, looking at what CP is trying to achieve, I think we might find it a difficult season.
