I listened to Talksport recently, Simon Jordan said Edward's would be foolish to take the Wolves job. Said Wolves were doomed and Edward's would have a chance of promotion with Middlesboro and the backing of the chairman.

No doubt about it lindasyB, why would Edwards want to come to us in our circumstances and surrender what is a promising looking season at Middlesbrough?
It's sad I know, but when a famous old club with a fan base we have, or potentially have, cannot attract decent manager interest, without the lure of big money, wages or bonus, then it speaks volumes, and it's not our league position alone.
Fosun and Jeff, is he our sole recruitment bod now? Someone who prefers Esports, are the creaters of the toxic atmosphere in the club.
They don't seem to listen, they don't see the unrest amongst fans or it appears within the club.

I'd be happy if Edwards joined us with one eye on the championship next year, but I couldn't blame him for turning us down at the moment and proving himself again in securing promotion.

That's the point Abbey, why would anyone want the job, unless they were unemployed. No backing from the owners, mediocre signings (late in the window) plus knowing that your best players will be sold off during the following Summer window, replaced with said mediocrity thus undermining the progress you've made and getting you sacked before Xmas.

It's hardly a tempting scenario which after watching this fiasco unfold over 4 years or so the world and his dog is now aware of the old Shi/Fosun two step. Pathetic.
