I am sure all other clubs and hierarchy would have been looking at potential new managers way in advance of parting ways with VP. Did Jeff and Co really leave it until this week to start looking?
Guess it just re-enforces the lack of planning and direction the club have, unfortunately.

Not sure where they are at the moment with the search, all of the bookies favourites I think have declined.
I was hoping we would have someone in place in time for the Chelsea game, at least to observe the players, seeming less likely with each day.

As there's no one left from the football side management probably just take a look at the ones represented by Gestifute as a likely source Banksy.

Failing that give Ted Lasso a call.

Some outlets suggesting that Bruno Lage is back in the frame

All gone quiet this manager lot funny how Brendon Rodgers’s hasn’t been mentioned last few days I think no one is interested unless fosun either change there ways or sell up

Rob Edwards seems to be the most consistent bookies favourite.

Just read elsewhere that they didn’t start looking for potential new managers until Sunday. Not sure why I expected a little more planning and preparation from Jeff, may take some time then.

Only cause he hasn't officially ruled himself out yet Derry, give him time (and some pressure from Boro) and I suspect he will! Not sure he's the answer anyway to be honest, I like the guy but we need a miracle worker and not sure he's got the experience for the size of this mess?

BullysBoyll it would be really interesting to hear your views on what /who might be the right man/ profile for your "miracle worker" role or are you happy to comment from the sidelines without a positive contribution in sight.

I remember reading a while back that Brighton keep a shortlist of potential new managers, updated regularly with data on team shape, personality and contract dates etc. Just in case.

Brentford are similar. If their managers underperform, or more likely, get poached, they can act immediately.

Our management appear to be a clueless shower. What does Shi do all day? I can't see what part of his job takes 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. He doesn't appear to do anything of note.

What about being so dedicated and meticulous that you start early and end late as most directors of a multi million pound business would to enable the business to be meticulously run, and achieve the maximum possible.

I despair

Haha, brave words Mike asking for a positive contribution from a poster that just yesterday suggested giving the job to Big Sam, a man that can't even get an interview in the Champ these days! ?

Firstly it's not my job to do that, we have people that are paid FAR more than me (Jeff) stealing a living from our club who are LITERALLY paid to come up with these lists and make these desicions. Secondly, who on here isn't commenting from the side lines exactly?! Did you go and do a shift in Jeff's office today did you?! Haha, thought not ?

Thirdly if you paid any attention you would have seen that last week I said that I think Brendan Rodgers is probably the best of the poor bunch currently available, but I suspect Jeff doesn't want to pay the wages. Maybe you can ask him next time your in the office eh buddy? ?
