Did we insert a sell on clause when we sold MGW to Forest? BBC ‘gossip' is reporting that Spurs are planning to offer £125 million for him in January.
Knowing how incompetent our club is when it comes to transfer dealing, I'm guessing not, but hopefully someone can prove me wrong?

Wolves hold 10% in the profit range. If Forest make £70 million profit, Wolves make £7 million.

Selling MGW to Nottingham Forest was a catastrophic mess up. Jeff Shi and that other idiot Scott Sellars. Made even worse (I think) by Wolves using the money to buy Gonçalo Guedes.

Did Wolves learn? No. Adam Scott will leave Bournemouth for about £100 million, and Wolves pulled the plug on the deal because of Lopper-tay-gee.

MGW wanted out of Wolves. The £45mil fee was considered good. Obviously he has improved at Forest, but he also pressured for a move from there, just as he did with us. Basically he wants to move to a 'big' club. We were never going to build a team round him, and neither will Forest.
