Fosun, Nathan, or whoever, never pledged £200 million for the Wolves promotion push. That was some numpty at the Fans' Forum who stated Wolves need to spend £200 million to guarantee promotion from the Championship. I think the fan had had too many Rum and Cokes with his lunchtime steak bake.
It would have been nice to see Wolves spend £20 million on a goalkeeper, £30 million on Toti's replacement, and £70 million on two wingers. Especially as they would have had £80 million leftover for whatever else was needed!!

With Jordan James coming in, I think a lot of Wolves fans were feeling positive. This was until this morning when the news broke of the injuries to Trippier and Mosquera.
Wolves fans haven't had much to cheer about for some time. Many fans, especially after the fans' forum, were looking forward to a successful season in the Championship, with their beloved team punching their way out of the league.
Currently, it looks like the Championship is going to be one long brutal slog.
Come September 1st, if Fosun hasn't built a team capable of promotion to the Premier League, the fans queueing up to congratulate/thank them for their efforts will fit into a Ford Fiesta - with room leftover to transport a piano.
