Great read Thefutureisoldgold.

My thoughts are we are still in the infancy of GON.
We are going to get up/down performances and as GON has said the squad is a little light in depth.

We will be alright this season and next season will be the one to judge our clubs prospects going forward.

Thoroughly fair and good assessment tfig. Totally agree re wilian/GON response and indeed samedo/kilmans dealings. I'd have liked to have known what was on the note GON sent to kilman via doyle, or sasa, whichever I forget. I assume it was to push more men forward and get it over for sasa but sadly nothing like it happened and sasa became unused. If we can get something at arsenal (last nights result for them worrys me) and then get the win v Burnley we can get back on track.

Being light in numbers is more if an issue with injuries and suspensions. I think Gary has to get used to it.

Regards GON he is in the early stages of his career as a manager. WWFC is his second club but combined his experience with Bournemouth and us is still only about a single EPL season.

Have to disagree saying Belle garde at fault for 1st goal, Lemina unusually let his man run in behind him which left us wide open, if he'd gone with him Iwobi wouldn't have had a tap in.

Wolflea - If you read my first comment on the game I acknowledge this.
Bellegarde let Robinson go but you are right neither Gomes or Lemina covered Iwobi's run and additonally Kilman could probably have stepped out and cut out the cross.
All in all a bad goal to concede particularly as I said we made exactly the same mistake in the very 1st minute and got away with it as Jimenez missed the tap in!
