Met him on a number of occasions, really a great man, and a great goalkeeper of his time, RIP Phil Parkes. ?

Very sad news. My dad always raved about how good Phil Parkes was as a goalkeeper. Alas, I am too young to have seen him play, but I did come across him in the local cricket scene, having played against his sons on a few occasions. Such a character and a fierce competitor. RIP Lofty.
