I think we need to provide Rob with a little help, he obviously reads our posts:-
1) No more Whang or Bellegarde
2) Drop JSL for the time being
3) Play more creative players, Mane, Lopez
4) Sign at least 1 midfielder in January
5) Prepare for the inevitable lack of help from Jeff and losing our best players every year
I would say no more Toti or Agbadou, however we will have no defenders left.
Absolute mess, best of luck Rob, you must be a little mad to join us.
Best we can hope for is he manages to restore a little confidence, changes the players, and we somehow look a different side. Long shot I realise, but have to cling on to something.

I would really like to know how Jeff lured him to us?

I assume Rob Edwards decision is as much to do with family as football. He is local, and that is a great tug. It must have been on his wishlist to manage Wolves at some stage. If he comes in now and manages to get a tune out of the players he may well keep some for the challenge next season.
A quick return will look good on his CV, and if a new owner materialises in the meantime he may well have a great influence over the coming years for Wolves. It is a risk, but you have to take the opportunity and weigh up the risk and your own belief.

Wimbornewolf - It has been said elsewhere before, make yourself available, attend the interview, say the right things and promise to bring results, do the job, get sacked and take the money!

Plus being a Wolves Manager you won't have to wait too long for the sack and subsequent pay off OAP Wulfrunian. Maybe less than 12 months.
