So we knew at the end of the last window that we needed 1 CB.

We then lost Mosquera for the rest of the season and realised we actually needed 2 CBs.

We sack GON and tell the world we need extra players as our squad is too small.

We sign 1 CB, sell 2 midfielders and have an injured striker. We pretend to be in negotiations with a number of players just to fill the fans with false hope and end up with a smaller squad than we had at the start of the year.

Enough is enough.

Haha, oh Wandering I couldn't agree more buddy! But in the nicest of ways fella this is precisely what we have been trying to tell you all season! As I've always said, the club KEEPS setting up manager after manager to fail whilst spinning the story to fans that this is a manager problem?! Sorry but this is a 'club' problem and it has been for about four seasons now!
Even if by some miracle we spend our way out of relegation AGAIN this window, what have we REALLY learnt?! Because come the summer we will sell Cunha to make up the difference and be right back where we started this season! At some point something HAS to change, otherwise it's a simple case of when not if we will be back in the Champ and facing very REAL financial problems! I do (honestly:) try to be positive but I genuiley feel like us fans have been living in a groundhog day since the moment Nuno left! ?

Well said BullysBoy we just go through the process and rinse and repeat. But it's a cycle where the ultimate destination is a downward spiral. Sensible management would have made such a big difference but hey it's getting close to being too late for that!

Bully I have to say that the evidence of how this club is managed supports your view. This last minute play acting about a mediocre signing which does not come off is just a seasonal repeat. They have half a year to, prepare signings of quality but have failed to do so in the last 5-6 windows. The family silver is now looking sparse, any more fire sales of quality players will render the position beyond hopeless. Right now it looks bleak, with dependence of outcome on what others do.no way to plan or manage.

I agree we are being set up to fail.
The bids maybe genuine but the reality is who is actually going to come.
I'd love us to sign a few ex Benfica players like Ferro (CB International), Rafa Silva etc.
I agree Dan's is a smoke screen. What about Vinicius at Fulham to replace Larsen? He's not playing ATM.
Why not try cheekily for Felix on loan?

All these guys played in Lage's teams.

We really screwed Nuno and Bruno and Julen. I know people doubt Bruno Lage but his team beat Juventus the other night .
Pipe dreams one and all.
