Just got back from the game. Speaking to fellow fans on the team home and we all pretty much agree on a few things.

1: We'll be OK this season. Today was an off day and we clearly missed Semedo and Cunha.

2: Hwang is awful. His passing was poor, he took too long to shoot. His all round game was so so bad.

3: Ait Nouri conundrum needs solving. He can't defend but he refuses to run at the opposition when he has the ball. Personally, I'd cash in on him and use Doherty or Toti as the defensive option or Forbs/Rodrigo as the attacking option.

4: Agbadou needs to hit the ground running and hopefully another CB is also incoming.

Doherty is garbage and should never play for us again.bueno is still not upto it.larrson was pathetic infront of goal tnite and shudv had a first half hatrick.hwang is garbage aswell.lack of due dilligence tnite as forest play on the break and are the top prem team at doing so.and scored 3goals from doing it.why wer we not ready for that?.poor set up.poor defending and poor infront of goal.shud give vp a lot to think about.and fgs get rid of bellegarde?

Hi everyone just thinking about the game last night totally agree with your above posts. Larson OMG his all round performance is poor, I know he has got goals this season but he never closes the defence down when ever a team has a goal kick and plays out from the back he is always 20 feet away so there defence can play it out comfortably with no pressure. He just totally looks laboured and lazy to run, close down and try and force a mistake. I would change that straight away. His game performance and press towards defenders needs to be a lot better and have more commitment and effort because it looks bad guys
There were more other players who didn’t show up last night but Larson looked the worst.

I’m sure Forest would need him in their Champions League charge but his experience would not only shore up our back-line but also help to school the younger players.

My other comment relates to Yerson Mosquera. If he returns at the start of next season won’t he be starting the final 12 months of his contract? Surely this needs addressed as he won’t have much resale value until he proves his fitness?

Ya know sometimes I think I see a different game, re larsen, no he's not the graceful gazelle with a burst of speed to chase around defenders or burst from the middle, a little terrier chap like podance is the man for that. He can't get forward too soon for crosses as he has to be mindful of offsides. Last night he had one effort spin off the calf of a stuck out leg, on header saved by the hopeful wavering arm of the keeper and another which escapes me now. Had those 3 efforts gone in he'd be a hero. Hit or miss literally down to centimetres. I personally thought he applied himself well.
Doc blew hot and cold, some of his balls were awful or hopeful, but that maybe have had something to do with our line up.
Hwang, sorry but he just dosnt do anything that merits him being on the pitch. He can hit a ball, once a season it seems.
RAN continues to frustrate, we know he can do it, sometime he does but not when he should.
Ricardo looks very promising, he can only grow with games, so play him.
Lima again looks promising but looks abit nervous in himself and not upto stamina.
Beuno gets a bums rush sometimes, he's a player who quietly goes about his business adequately then gets exposed by a slip up. Given the circumstances last night I wouldn't knock him.
We've got reinforcements coming, VP willmouldthe teams and I share the believe we'll be OK.

Agree Abbeywolf. I thought Larsen and Guedes played well and were willing to run at the Forest defence. My frustration was with Hwang as he either didn't move or when he did, he ran into the opposition. His all round play was awful. It was apparent that having watched Cunha all season, we know, had he been available, he would have moved all across the front line which in return gives Larsen and Guedes added space to exploit.

I thought Bueno did well as did Lima. Lima will be a great player and clearly likes to get the crosses in but at this moment in time, Semedos experience makes him the better option. Hopefully Lima can learn off him and become his replacement.

VP will have learnt so much in defeat last night but I feel we are moving in the right direction.

It's a bit more complicated than that QS. Their respective abilities may be debated but we were missing all three of our first choice central defenders, Andre who has been coming good, our captain Semedo and Cunha of course who is our stand out player. Then you've got Lemina whose head has gone AWOL and you end up with a bare bones team which, granted a bit of good luck, might even have got a result last night. Let's see what the window brings and judge again in a couple of months time.

I do wonder over your allegiances QS, you do seem a WUM at times. Did you take note of the players put out last night? The positions they were filling and the age and experience of some? The first half they were by far the better side, bar the two goals against, which were very much our own fault granted, but had our chances gone in not stopped by fortunate block or decent saves the game could have gone a lot differently.
It's a set back but we've shown a different approach and got points in a short period of VP leadership.
We've got new recruits coming and a bit of time for VP to study and mould the team. We've enough in us to survive the drop.
Fosun/shi may not be living up to expectations, VP may have a limited time to change things, but we've got the best chance to it, we'll see Fosuns true intent in transfers and retentions, get behind the club the lads and VP if you truly care about us.

Hey, old wulf, I've learnt something, the N11 goes straight through the town, seriously someone else used it on here and I googled it, so thought I was being up to date using it. I've had the suspicions before.
