I know we are 1-0 but as soon as we scored we became so passive and are giving Southampton too much respect. Sitting back and inviting pressure. No runners attacking. Need some big changes second half. Bring Andre on and Doyle and either forbs/gomes/bell on for sarabia

VaB, totally agree, nice to be 1-0 up.but 29% possession at home is scary and we are still sloppy in our passing. We are not playing one of the top sides!
Continue like this and we could lose which for me would be curtains to our Premiership status.

A welcome win, but too passive when we took the lead. I will give GON credit for telling them to push up in the second half, more effort and pressure and southampton were chasing are tails. International break may be good to recharge the batteries and get more players back, before the run to the Christmas fixtures. Would settled for a point against Fulham, and then more wins against the teams around us
