My contacts close to Famalicao in Braga, they tell me Gestifute already open conversations with Wolves. Valdir Cardoso, he is the man moving this. 18 million euros. Famalicao they accept this value no problem. Gustavo Sa, he could happen very soon.

He is a good player who should be with the big 3.

Would be a fantastic signing for the Championship. Hope you're right. I have rarely, if ever, seen anyone here that's ever been correct about their sources. Not doubting you specifically, just the general reliability of people on here is almost non-existent.

Valdir Cardoso sounds like a player Wolves would be after for midfield. To be likened to Moutinho is music to our ears.

Gustava Sa seems more unlikely, as he is another RB. What would be the reasoning behind the statement he is a big 3 player in Portugal? He seems to have played at Nacional and Famalicao. It just seems odd. We may have a team of RBs at this rate.

While it is exciting that they are linked with talented Portuguese players.

Wolves still need to buy home grown players, as we don’t want a bench purely on academy players. 7 of every match day squad of 18 must be home grown.

They need to sign two, maybe 3 cbs, a midfielder (maybe 2), and 3, maybe 4 forwards. The crux of this is they need pace in all these positions, along with technical ability.

If I was Wolves, I would be focusing on the spine of the team. Defence is a big issue. Arrey-Mbi, LCB, is a Gestifute player I would sign, and he would be homegrown. Alleyne at Man City would be the RCB I would sign. Then Webster from Brighton on a free, as experience.
Note of caution, with a back 4, two or 3 players being left footed, playing left cb becomes important.

Maybe not in the Championship, but something we should look at when recruiting cb's. Arrey-Mbi is left footed. But who would cover in the case he gets injured.

Yes, Toti, Mosquera, S Bueno and Krejci should be sold.

This sounds really harsh, but I don’t want to see those CBs again. They didn’t do enough for me to show they had the fight in them.

Midfield.
Cardoso would be a good option, as I’m sure he is box to box with great technical ability.
Devine would be the player I would sign after an impressive season at Preston, and he has bags of potential for the future. Could play in a 2 or a 3 as well.

Wildcard:
McAtee. There’s so many rumours of links to him the past two years. I hope it’s not just a link from Rob Edwards. He is a very technical and tricky player. He may be our own Bernardo Silva type, with good players and a full preseason under his belt. Also, don’t forget he did contribute at Forest in the Prem and Europe since February. Good, solid investment in a young homegrown player after some sales.

Cleary or Ballard, or Both.
Someone other than Traore.

Isn't Valdir Cardosa a retired 42 year old left back? Why would he be a good option and music to your ears?

As the Portuguese rumour states above, mine.

Blow me there's more than one Brazilian called Cardoso and more than one Sa around. ??

Are you sure? There doesn't seem to be a Cardoso listed on Famalicao's official squad list. There is a Rodrigo Pinheiro who is represented by Valdir Cardoso that Wolves have been linked with and happens to be a Right Back.

Clearly the rumour is saying that the Gestifute agent Valdir Cardoso is working on Gustavo Sa.

It's broken English, but it seems obvious to me.

For £18m, it would have to be Gustavo Sa.

That's what most people think, but FosunProject2ndGen seems to think that Cardoso is a current Famalicao player, not an agent.
