Shame for Neto to miss the World Cup as well. Just read what Steve Davis had to say, sounds like the squad wasn’t happy under Lage to me. Hoping for a response and looking forward to seeing some of the young player play.

I think the bigger worry is that he hadn't even rediscovered his form after the last awful injury! So sad but I feel like he may be joining the Raul section of players where we all might end up thinking on what could have been?! Let's hope that's not the case cause the kid had REAL talent, its fair to say we haven't had much luck these last few years with injuries (cough, Phil Hayward, cough:) ?
