I am hoping that if we don't go up this season. which I can't see happening. Fosun will get what money they can then sell up
Bloody hurray.
Then perhaps with decent new owners we can get a 1st class coach & manager. because at moment irs looking grim.

The thing is who exactly will buy the club. We can point to the likes of Bournemouth who have been bought by Americans but these are few and far between. We haven't got a locally made billionaire like Brighton and Brentford.

Look at Everton. Taken over by Americans 2 years ago who are trying to sell for huge profits.

No one is interested in buying Wolves to take them forward. They will only be bought so the owner can add it to their business CV and earn from the clubs name/history.

So whilst I too want Fosun out, I just can't see if there is anyone out there willing to buy us.

Sensible post GWIL.
To get anywhere near where we were a few years ago would take hundreds of millions of pounds or many years of buying and selling players to fund the project.
Add to that a billion for a new stadium or hundreds of millions to re-develop the current stadium and it's not a viable proposition.

Even if an American multi-billionaire fancies a stint in Wolverhampton to take on the project they won't be allowed to spend the money that would allow us to compete.

If Wolves don't go up this season surely there will be nowhere for Fosun to turn.

Going into the 27/28 season, they would have to strip the squad to its bare bones - too many high earners & some saleable assets - and start afresh. Fosun do not have the ability to do this effectively. They continually show themselves to be inept. What they know about football could be written on the head of a pin.

Uncle Jorge's bag of tricks has been of no use for years. Mendes is now adversely affecting Wolves. Fosun won't see this because his interests are too heavily tied into Fosuns interests.

Many Wolves fans have had enough of Fosun. Failure to get promoted back to the PL at the first time of asking - especially after all the BS at the Fans' Forum - would turn even more fans against them.

The 27/28 season could easily see Wolves in the Championship playing at the Molineux in front of 20,000 fans. Undoubtedly with a very average head coach trying to motive very average players. I think this scenario is realistic - and by this stage Fosun would have taken enough money out of the club to sell it for a satisfactory amount.

There is no reason for any fan to speak positively about Fosun. They are habitual liars who are slowly flushing Wolves down the toilet. They have lacked ambition and interest for years. They're not putting any money into the club, other than the bare minimum they were begrudgingly forced to spend in order to keep the youth systems category one status intact.

I must admit to having doubts about US owners, English football has a fair few of them with differing levels of success having been achieved. Whilst they understand professional sport as a business, the US franchise models are way different to English football.

So what does that leave Middle East or far East, I doubt that an abramovich type will be allowed back into English football in a hurry.

German or Barcelona model !!!

The Chinese, after 10 years, still appear not to understand the Football industry.
I struggle to understand why they continue with Wolves.
For me the failing is, not the level of investment during their ownership, but their not appointing people to guide the way funds should be used.

There is no executive Board to drive strategy, just a few administrative underlings in the UK to manage the day to day.
If they are not going to put a Board in place with authority, why bother at all?
