When you have a player who refuses to play & throws his dummy out the pram.
Piss him off.
He wouldn't get a penny more of I was in charge.
What a w*****.

Imagine doing that in a 'normal' job, Moby? Straight in the gaffer's office, no need to put your coat on, mate, you can put it on as you walk out the front door. Players need to realise that’s what they actually are, employees of a football club. But, having said that, they've got way too much power now in the game.

When players sign for a club, it should be with an assurance that they will behave professionally. And that should include not going on strike to force a move. There should be a mechanism so that, when this happens, the club can hold a player liable for the financial implications it has.
My view is, if I sign a contract to play for a club for 3 years, then unless the club sells me I have to play until my contract runs out. I can ask for a move, but if the club says no, then so be it. If I'm not happy with that, I shouldn't sign in the first place.

Medina bid failed due to work permit issues. We tried, but couldn't get it over the line. Sound familiar?
