All this talk on the banter pages about the manager, Fosun, Matt Hobbs etc but if things carry on like the last 18 games we will be playing in the championship next season.
One win in 18 games is relegation form and next up is Man City?
I really like Gary O'Neil but he is not experienced enough to deal with our current situation so why not bring in someone like David Moyes to work with him

Or Big Sam?

Um, the same Big Sam whose almost 70 years old and whose last two jobs ended in relegation from the Prem?! It is hilarious that people keep suggesting Big Sam 'cause he knows what he's doing' despite the fact that in GONs last two relegation battles he's comfortably pulled clear (us and Bournemouth). Yet Big Sam's last two battles he's been relegated both times (WBA and Leeds)?! Not to mention the fact that he was struggling with health problems back in his WBA days which is over three years ago now! This ain't the 90s and Big Sam ain't the saviour any more! ?

Big Sam has probably shrunk a bit too, Bullys, as we tend to do as we get on a bit.

Big Sam isn't the answer, but may be what we get based on Fosun's recruitment of managers and what they will want to outlay. Their judgement bar Nuno and maybe arguably JL isn't the best.
The other thing they'd likely o is sign a unproven manager from the Championship or Scotland. Remember how we nearly got Beale!
Bringing in someone to work with GON wouldn't happen or work. An extra wage expense and who would technically be in charge? Plus it would undermine GON's role. If he isn't the answer now then he has to go, but that being said don't rely on the board bringing in a sensible replacement.

Always to the point BullysBoy and once again spot on. I really do wonder if some posters on here simply take the first name that comes to mind instead of thinking things through. Allardyce way past his sell by date. Wonder why no mention of Dave Bassett or Ian Holloway? If we do have to replace GON and I still hope it doesn’t come to that, we’ll be extremely lucky to find the right person to steer us away from relegation.

That made me chuckle Old Wolf, he must be 'average size Sam' by now.
