The fact of the matter is that Pep has always thought highly of Nunes and now that their staring AMF is injured, it is only logical that they come looking to buy him late in the window.
I wouldn't get all conspiratorial about it.

Think your right Handsome, I also think that as you can't read about Wolves right now without reading about FFP woes of course City are going to try and low ball us! Still think he might go but every player has a price, if he does we better have some players lined up or like I said originally I think this would be the death nail! Time will tell ?

Exactly. He described him as being one of the best midfielders in the world at one point. So based on that can we drive up the price to around 75m-80m and include a sell on clause?

Agree both of you.

Makes it even more critical than was extremely crucial we get a result at Everton.

For the masses sake.

Hard earned money spent on wolves and feel for the guys with season tickets.

There's more hope than in Bob Hope of late.

If/when nunes goes I don't think it's the end of our season. I'm repeating myself when I say I don't think his heart was truly with us, we were always a stepping stone. He'll make us a profit and he'll prosper else where. His goal against Chelsea and leap in front of the North Bank will never be forgotten. But he's also given some poor performances and last Saturdays sending off childish to say the least. Get as much as we can, and hopefully acquire reinforcements to consolidate our prem status this year.

More to the point, now he knows City want him, he will have no interest in playing for us anymore if he is not sold.
