To be honest, I just wish Wolves would get a new CH a Striker plus get rid of the deadwood. I would also like another MF but wishfull thinking. Get rid of Whang, Hoevear, Sasa and any one else. Wolves have the funds to get deals over the line but Fuson are saying you only have this.
From Jan transfer window to now Wolves have 73mill of transfers plus 35mill off Gomes sale plus 49 mill parachute pamyment. Then there's 20mill from MU for Cuhna near 180mill incomings. Yet net spend not a lot if I'm right maybe someone put me right.

Dmac, the parachute payment has almost certainly gone.
A while ago Wolves borrowed £100m against the TV money.
Presumably it was originally intended that the principal wouldn't have to be repaid anytime soon, as the lender would always be happy to roll over against next year's money.
Sadly, after relegation, there is no next year's TV money.
The only TV money this year is the parachute payment and a few bob for being on the telly in the Championship.
The lender is, therefore, going to want their money back.
I imagine the parachute payment and either the Gomes or JSL sales are needed to make that repayment.
The idea that Wolves are a rich club in the Championship is laughable.
The club loses money at an astonishing rate, circa £128m in the last set of (albeit 13-month) accounts, and has huge net debt, both to banks, other clubs and Fosun.
So, not only are they not rich - remember the money you mention is being used not just to pay back debts but also to cover the operating losses - but are also massively hamstrung by the new SCR rules.
From the latest information in the 2025 accounts, it seems these will bite hard on Wolves this year, and, unless promotion is achieved this season, will be almost impossible to deal with next season.
Consequently, this is a 1-year window, not just from Trippier, Andre and Raul - who probably will all be done/gone by next year - but also SCR.
Wolves almost certainly have to go up this year or face a very very troubled time.

I'd add GK to that too, Dmac, mate.

Looks like we will be facing a very, very troubled time then.
Fosun clearly are bothered.
I haven't felt this despondent about our beloved club since... ? ... last year.
I can't see us going up if we don't get at least two, preferably three decent players in before the end of the transfer window...
so basically I can't see us going up.
Hopefully they'll prove me wrong. After all this time last year I got it wrong when I predicted we would finish 19th, so it shows how much I know.

Thank you for that, tfiog. Rated, never put GK because unless they sell Sasa or Johnstone, Wolves won't buy.
