There's a lot of Twitter posts from Spain saying we have cut in on the deal with Madrid (who have been after him for 8 months) . Great if true. Adds something extra in having the option to play a big tall lad to aim the ball at.

I won't get carried away with the Madrid piece. I don't think he was ever going to trouble Ronaldo, Bale or Benzema. Maybe he was destined for their B team.

Potential is there but a long way off cutting it in English Football at our level from bargain basement level of 3rd tier football from what I've seen on YouTube.
