If Barry Douglas is so good how has he got to the age of 27 playing in a rubbish league why hasn't he been dragged back sooner. celtic fans don't want him back. not being negative it's taken us years to finally get rid of the rubbish don't want us to make the mistake of bringing on another. might be wrong.

Neither the Polish nor Turkish leagues are rubbish, arguably the Turkish league is better than the championship, there's some big talents over there. People underestimate the abilities within foreign leagues and if Douglas has been able to succesfully compete in these leagues then I think the touted £1 million fee is nigh on a bargain. We've been crying out for a left footed left back since Golbourne left and this bloke may just be the answer.

1. Turkish and Polish leagues are generally better than the Championship. He's been there because he wanted a different challenge.
2. He has never played for Celtic so not sure what you mean by "back" unless you mean Scotland but he hasn't played there for four years so they wouldn't know what he's like.
3. "Not being negative"? You're writing off a potential signing you know nothing about before he's even kicked a ball. That's the definition of negative.

Think his wife will make or break this deal as far as I can make out she wants live back in Scotland hence the Celtic link but sure once she seen that the midlands isn't the black hole abyss that most country thinks it is she will see benefit off a move to wolves for her husband.

Turkish league ain't that bad tbh, there's some decent teams in there tbh, and I read a tweet of someone saying he has tracked his progress since he left Dundee and he said wolves were below him as a player so clearly stating we're not good enough for him and also think a lot of our money is going on CMs and STs tbh but with the style of coach Nuno is he'll make us very good defensively look at his defensive record at other clubs it's very good.

Also he happens have the habit of making players better&a look at Valencia first manager since about 2008 to get he CL football finished with record points, rio ave give him a chance I think it's clear he's having a say on transfers he hasn't made managed at the level he has for no reason and I'm not surprised we haven't seen many mendes players come in go look at his signings at other teams very few mendes players that he's actually signed.
