Just putting this out there but does anyone agree that KdB would be an asset to us.
Give him 20 million to sign on and a two year contract for another 20.

Would love it but your figures work out to £400k per week if you include the signing on fee. Can you see Jeff agreeing to that?

An asset football wise, possibly. Financially at those figures a liability. As wandering says no way jeff would wear 20m per year salary, rightly so IMO.

However, injury wise at 33 years old and that salary, just a knock that keeps him out for 4 weeks becomes expensive, let alone a long term injury.

Football wise, where would he play or is he just going to be an expensive benchwarming replacement for Bellegarde and or Sarabia as our midfield 2 are pretty good footballers.

So yes at a sensible salary as an experienced squad player, but I doubt he wants that.

Football wise he could play for us anywhere apart from maybe goalkeeper but, injury wise, the writing on the wall has been there for a couple of seasons now and will almost certainly turn into full blown graffiti shortly so, for that reason, I don't think so.
