Danso deal is off! Spurs hijacked Danso clearly is not a man of his word.

It's a straight loan. He clearly isn't worth our time and effort. Twice he's agreed terms with us and twice he's preferred other teams. Hopefully he joins Spurs, gets injured, misses the rest of the season and Lens try and sell him in the summer bit no one wants him and he comes crawling to us but we tell him to f*ck off.

Seems abit harsh on Danso that Wandering.
Theres been a lot of goal posts being moved by lens to be fair.
He's not for sale.
He is being sold.
We'll loan him with obligation to buy.
We'll take the x amount.
We won't sell we will land etc etc.
Personally if I was wolves I'd put an offer in at €27m and say look we really want you Danso you will make the difference in our defence and you will play Spurs have a very big squad and you may not be playing every week.
I think Lens is the issue not Danso and Danso is worth £20m or €25m.
Just get the deal signed as I said €27m is still less than the £25m-£30m valuation I gave over the past few weeks.

Hi new on here it looks like Danso wanted to win trophies ? joining Spurs??
But what a great result yesterday the team really stepped up and played as a team and never gave Villa time that first half we should ha e been 4 up at the break
Bellagarde was emence never stopped running gave his all and played in his natural position MOTM
Sarabia not everyone's choice but he knows how to pick out that pinpoint of a pass
Toti how we have missed him and what a great signing Agbadou has been a solid Player
Good to see cunha looking happy again and signing a new contract should keep him here till at least the summer
I think if we can keep this performance going we will stay up no problem

Unfortunately the Danso deal is typical of leaving it to the last minute you dash to the checkout and find they've moved it! Can't blame Spurs I'm sure the reverse would be true if we could do it. Players from abroad always seem to prefer to go to London, why goodness knows. let's hope we can find someone else maybe someone from the championship could do the job for us. Tbh we weren't too shabby last night and still had Bueno and Dawson on the bench.

Danso accepted terms and conditions with Wolves on Thursday and were waiting for Lens and Wolves to reach an agreement which was done on Friday.

Spurs have actually offered less money to Lens but have offered Danso £150k per week (double what he agreed with us) and the security of a 5 year deal whereas we offered a 3 year deal.

At Spurs, he'll be behind Romero and Van Der Ven but at Wolves, he would have played so it seems to me on the face of it, that he's chosen the easier option. We need committed players, not money grabbing bench warmers.

The villa game showed we still have spirit and a team fighting together. Danso seemed to need persuading to move here. Personally I think we may have dodged a bullet, but we move on.

Let's give Danso a torrid time and a boisterous welcome when Spurs rock up at the Mol in April.
