Just listened to Peixoto's first interview since becoming Manager.
What I'm hearing was music to my ears, a demanding coach wanting strong attacking football played by a well organised team that will play the way he needs them to.
Pace, energy and pride, seems to sum up his style so we could be in for a busy window, an intense pre-season and a team that can hit the ground running from the get go.
Let's just hope he gets the players he needs to pull this off as it should be an exciting ride if he does.

Why does he look like Hans Gruber from Die Hard? Especially the smile.

He reminds me more of the Predator. The 1987 one.

Just reading loads of different articles about Peixoto.
He likes to play high-pressing, attacking football. He likes his teams to close down the opposition quickly, and he is willing to change tactics mid-game. He is also a bit of a disciplinarian and will command respect and effort from the players.

Isn't that what every manager says? What did Rob want? Boring sideways, negative football? I hope I'm wrong, but right now it's just words.

I think the difference this time, Old, is that the Club approached him because that fits with the identity they now want to build. Under Jeff, it was just survival in the Prem, which we all knew would bring us to this point.
Nathan Shi seems to be looking to facilitate this change, which will include a clear out of players and the signing of those that are a better fit with the alleged new strategy.
We certainly seem to have started on that tack, so fingers crossed it is more than just words.

Totally agree, Old. Action speaks louder than words.
