With Kilman being left footed, and a home grown talent why is he not commanding more in the 50-60m bracket. Yes football has gone mad with transfer fees etc. but wolves always seem happy to be screwed over when a club comes in for them. Max is still young and I like him as a player when he is being coached by experience next to him.

I half agree, in fairness he isn't a £50-60m player yet (not sure anyone in our sqaud could be after last seasons performances). But I think your right in that he's one good season away from that kind of valuation. Interestingly I notice Sky finish the reporting of the article by saying he could equally stay and sign a new deal. In fairness this could all be learning from our mistakes, after the Neves debacle it's entirely possible the club are getting a bit tougher with their contracts. The report read like he will either be sold or he will sign a new contract. Now I REALLY don't want him to go however I've also said many times that the club got it wrong with their handling of Rueben and Adama so can't really complain if we are trying to improve our contract management! I suppose we've freed up some wages and he's certainly more important to the club now ?

Phil I suspect he will want to if he can/would double/triple his current wage! He's not young anymore and if he's going to be a regular starter he will expect his wage to reflect that. I suspect part of the problem here is that Collins was bought in on a much bigger contract (if sites are to be believed it was about double Maxs weekly wage)!

Champions league football with the champions of Italy might be something of a pull though Phil. Can even get in some sightseeing; Sorrento, Capri, Amalfi Coast, Vesuvius, Pompeii, Herculaneum etc!
