The info I get is from someone in the commercial dept., so I don't get loads of player info, but they have said that:

The club are in talks with a couple of new kit makers with Li-Ning and Adidas the two main ones. It's likely that a Li-Ning kit will have a red away kit and that the Adidas deal is much like the Puma one know where the club buy a 'generic shirt' and logo/ badge it up.

The ground will not be renamed but they are looking at a ground sponsor (i think Club Med) which will see the concourse areas, etc heavily branded as well as discounts and stuff for season ticket holders / members.

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Apr 2017 13:53:49
Phes Wolf,
Club Med? I hope that doesn't get lengthened to Club Mediocrity by the Baggies.

20 Apr 2017 15:06:51
Well I hope you are right about the ground not being renamed Phes Wolf.

20 Apr 2017 15:58:20
Club Med resorts are certainly not mediocre. Much nicer than Club Sandwell.

21 Apr 2017 11:58:10
Fosun own li-ning so can definitely see that happening as a big kit deal is 1 way to help get around FFP although the current puma deal was believed to be for 4 years so should have another year left unless the club pay off puma.

20 Apr 2017 00:48:08
Im hearing wolves have agreed a deal with Atlanta for striker Alejandro Gomez . The fee is £5 million and it will be a 3 year contract.

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Apr 2017 03:50:54
Sounds good, versatile player who can play either wing, attacking midfield or up front.
I'd like to see us get another Gomes, Jose Gomes. One of Mendes players, only 18 but could be our Portuguese Robbie Keane.

20 Apr 2017 07:05:09
Would be the oldest player we have bought for a long time, but we do need someone in midfield to control things and keep the pace going. We look a lot better side when we move the ball quickly. Will still be a year or two until Ronan is ready so would fit nicely.

20 Apr 2017 10:21:25
He's great another Italian league player I think we should target is Capari of Inter Millian.

20 Apr 2017 10:50:26
Left winger, so goodbye Costa.

20 Apr 2017 12:58:13
Although you shouldn't judge a player by FIFA 17 this guy has an 87 rated inform card and is in line for team of the season. Again FIFA/ Footy Manager aren't the oracle however check his stats out. Seems slightly too good for the championship.

20 Apr 2017 14:24:34
Would be shocked if this were to happen. Far too good for the championship.

20 Apr 2017 16:01:17
Haha! FM 2017 is the first place I check when we get linked with a player i'm unaware of.

20 Apr 2017 16:09:46
Best Gomez option for us would be loan deal forAngel Gomez, immense U18 talent at Manchester United. Creative central Midfielder, not likely to be getting any game time under Jose.

20 Apr 2017 15:59:18
Only 5ft 5", so we're going back to the Jackett 'buy midget' philosophy. He looks a top notch player, tho, if you check his YouTube video out. Noted for his 'long range thunderbolts'.

19 Apr 2017 09:30:22
Morning All

I have heard last night that 90% of the summer transfer business is complete. Contracts agreed etc. Costa will be leaving, but the money coming in for him will immediately be spent on another player. I have no names for this i'm sorry. Fosun will back Lambert in the market with a substantial amount, FFP will not be an issue as there will be some new sponsorship deals announced all concerning Fosun based companies. Expect 4/ 5 signings, all well over the amount of £5m, one or two CONSIDERABLY more. This is what I have been told, but, I stress as ever, just rumours I am picking up.

Agree0 Disagree0

19 Apr 2017 10:22:23
Shame about Costa but the other transfer activity sounds very promising👍 Hope your source is correct, Tom Tit 👍.

19 Apr 2017 12:29:06
What you're saying here possibly ties in with something i posted a few days ago about Thomas Cook sponsoring the stadium.

19 Apr 2017 14:57:23
Could this be why Costa isn't playing? Don't risk the asset.

19 Apr 2017 15:16:50
I may yet be proved wrong but I don't believe we will see Costa playing for Wolves again this season as I am convinced that a deal to sell him is agreed and in place. It would not be sensible to risk injuring him and therefore putting such a deal in jeopardy.

19 Apr 2017 16:08:32
I think your probably right Doncaster Wolf.

19 Apr 2017 16:15:28
I would worry, Mendes has got a couple of new Lamborghini's lined up for us from the Portuguese league.

19 Apr 2017 16:54:10
Although I don't want to see Costa leave, if the money us spent buying a like for like replacement and possibly 2 other players who would strengthen out team then so be it. At the moment we have 1 excellent player (Costa) and 3 very good players (Cav, Weimann and Marshall) and 7 decent players whereas if we sell Costa we could have 7 very good players and 4 decent players which makes us stronger.

19 Apr 2017 18:51:11
I think the above rumours are basically about right. Costa will go, a deal has probably been done. Possibly won't play for us again, why risk it. The money will be reinvested with more on top, on new players, financial rules permitting. Sponsorship will bring in more money. Fosun are deadly serious about our future, no messing around. We will emerge stronger next season, with Lambert fully in charge of the playing side.

19 Apr 2017 19:06:34
Leeds want Matt Docherty.

19 Apr 2017 19:14:14
Depends on how ambitious the owners are. For example Will Hughes is available this summer for £15 million and over £30 grand a week. Can't see any Premiership sides coming in for him, so why not? It is vital we get that midfield slot permanently sorted at last.

19 Apr 2017 22:40:21
Leeds want Matt Doherty? Start the car.

18 Apr 2017 21:56:36
Heard off a mate that wolves have been sending scouts to watch besikitas in Turkey, mendes has Portuguese player there bruma maybe something going on there but apparently he is a winger, so does that mean Costa will go.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Apr 2017 23:03:44
Was in papers weeks ago €20m but out clause.

18 Apr 2017 23:42:10
I don't know why they were there hoping to watch him. Bruma plays for Galatasaray.

19 Apr 2017 00:12:20
You are right mendes has Anderson talisman and Vincent aboubakar at besikitas but doubt they will join championship.

19 Apr 2017 06:58:26
Maybe besiktas were playing Galatastery in a match. I highly doubt two of the top players in the Turkish league this season are going to come to the championship. However I would like us to look at some Porto players as well as Lambert's choices as they have loads of players coming back from loan next season.

19 Apr 2017 10:16:16
Talisca most definitely. He can go for €20m.

19 Apr 2017 10:18:26
Currently scouting: Bruma (Galatasary, 22), Talisca (Besiktas, 23), J Murphy (Norwich, 22), B Sako (Crystal P, 29), Ben Neneghan (Motherwell, 23), Tom O'Ware (Greenock, 24), Ryan Haynes (Coventry, 21), Sam Hughes (Chester, 19), Ryan Shotton (no idea) .

19 Apr 2017 10:21:07
4 others: W Hennessy (Crystal P, 30), G Hanley (Newc, 25), C Martin (Derby, 28), S Gallagher (Southampton, 21)

19 Apr 2017 11:14:50
I know he left under a bit of a cloud but I'd definitely have Hennessey back and would be happy with Gallagher as well.

19 Apr 2017 12:30:46
I actually believed you Wavid until you mentioned Sako.

19 Apr 2017 13:33:01
you really don't like Sako, do you RKO?

19 Apr 2017 13:41:43
It's getting out of control already. Talisca is premier bound as is Bouma.

19 Apr 2017 14:59:53
So now starts my mate etc. we got money to spend so rumours are going to go mad till window shuts. they need to of load first. I bet a mad over 1 million per month on price Wallace etc easy.

19 Apr 2017 19:01:46
I love Sako Wavidsmith mate one of the best players we had and played for the shirt too as much as i would love him to comer back to Wolves i just can't see it happening, i been told Brighton are looking at him and Bournemouth.

19 Apr 2017 23:34:01
There have been too many reports about Sako returning for there to be nothing in it. I also doubt he would go to another Premier league side and risk disappointment. Players such as Sako, Martin and Hanley offer the experienced type of spine Lambert has hinted about. Unfortunately, I still never hear of us being linked to either a creative midfielder (ironically like Kmac), or a box to box midfielder (like Hughes/ Pritchard) .

18 Apr 2017 14:23:13
Just got a text saying Ryan Shotton will be a Wolves player next season. I'd doubt this is a wind-up, my mate is a pretty reliable source of info.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Apr 2017 15:04:26
Bertie, how many of your other predictions have come true?

18 Apr 2017 17:16:42
All but one.

18 Apr 2017 17:32:58
Come on guys nobody knows whos coming or going the press never got anything right last summer so my friends sisters brothers dog told me he's heard NOTHING. Lambert knows who he wants and I just hope it's left to him this summer and the hierarchy keep their noses out let the football people look after the football and money men look after the money only that way we'll be pushing for promotion next season. UTW.

18 Apr 2017 18:10:25
Bertie. Face it, you don't know whose coming in. Who have you predicted so far because looking back in sure you said Gary Neville was to become our manager and Haller was in talks with us in January.

18 Apr 2017 21:11:49
Remember Fosun own us, big Jeff and Lambert work for them, as far as I'm aware no new contracts have been offered to any of the management? This season has been dire, who knows what Fosun will do at the end of the season? There could be a big clearout from top to bottom? Or big Jeff and Lambert may stay? So until we know who's stayin in charge, players comin in is just pure speculation.

18 Apr 2017 21:03:05
Bertie, it looks like you have allsorts of predictions. I like your Shotton rumour though. Lambert' has brought in Weimann and Marshall so far and they look great signings. In Lambert I trust.

18 Apr 2017 22:24:55
Oh and BB Shotton is out for the season so he won't be much use now will he.

18 Apr 2017 22:22:58
Hang on, I'm teaching further down the rabbit hole and you will be amazed what players I will pull out.

18 Apr 2017 22:22:58
Hang on hang on I'm teaching further down the rabbit hole and you will be amazed what players I will pull out.

{Ed007's Note - I've told you before about rabbit holes.}

19 Apr 2017 04:29:11
I hate wabbits!

19 Apr 2017 09:21:50
Woy Hodgson hates wabbits too.

18 Apr 2017 14:21:54
Not singing Lambert praises. i'm still undecided on him, but to be fair to him the two signings he has brought in have been superb Marshall especially has been a cracking player, Weinmann blows hot and cold on the wing but upfront he is very good.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Apr 2017 15:26:39
He is better in a forward position but his he any better than Dicko or Bod? IMO no we don't need another forward that doesn't score goals. We all no that scoring has been our biggest problem all season and its the first problem that PL must sort out in the summer.

18 Apr 2017 15:27:12
I heard we have a squad of 36 players and Lambert wants to reduce to 26 and bring in 5 players, so that means he needs to get rid of 15 players. Who do the fans think will go.

18 Apr 2017 15:56:30
Longeran, Stearman, Silvio, Henry, Wallace, Flatt, Ola John, Gladon, Borthwick Jackson and Williamson.

18 Apr 2017 17:19:42
My personal view on who'll go is: Saville, Irofa, Price, Gladon, Henry, Silvio.

18 Apr 2017 19:41:29
I think price lonergan Evans Silvio gladon John borth Jackson iorfa Henry Wallace stearman try and keep Costa at all costs.

19 Apr 2017 20:51:54
That's most of Jackett's team you guys have named only one of you said Saville and nobody said Coady and nobody said Bright who has been invisible for a few weeks.

18 Apr 2017 14:13:44
First new player will be Jason Cummings, but we face competition from Sunderland.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Apr 2017 16:57:07
Dicko Cummings?

19 Apr 2017 20:54:26
We were rumoured to be looking at Cummings last close season but now he is in Scot Premier he might want to stay anyway Hibs players usually go to Celtic but some play for Wolves tin between!

17 Apr 2017 08:10:32
wolves fc to sign sako again on loan due to permanent deal also abraham with a deal around 4 mill.

Agree0 Disagree0

17 Apr 2017 09:04:29
Thats has to be made up! Abrahams £4 mill? Triple that and you may have fooled me then. What do people get out of making up rumours?

17 Apr 2017 09:38:14
I heard the same at the BHA match about Abraham with costa going other way.

17 Apr 2017 11:46:54
Again Sako is not coming to Wolves, why would he? He is now starting in Palace matches so get over it never going to happen move on.

17 Apr 2017 14:08:35
Oh gawd the silly people are out of their rabbit holes already with whacky dreamt up transfers.

{Ed007's Note - Isn't it further down the rabbit hole the more bizarre things get?}

17 Apr 2017 15:55:46
I'm just waiting for the football manager 17 players to say we're signing Messi, Ronaldo, Rashford etc lol.
They need to remember the pc game isn't real life.

17 Apr 2017 17:06:04
Costa going the other way you mean to Bristol or Chelsea if he goes to Chelsea he will join the 40 players out on loan so why would he? 4m plus Costa doesn't make sense. 4m for Tammy is a bargain maybe we can offer Saville back to them.

17 Apr 2017 17:11:35
Messi, Ronaldo, Bale, Suarez and Neuer all joining Wolves in the summer. I've done it on FM17 so it's definitely true #ITK.

17 Apr 2017 17:41:12
Won't solve our CB problem Jas.

17 Apr 2017 18:43:14
Sako will definitely come back if Costa leaves, depending on the club giving the green light. Not sure why people would be shocked by this.

17 Apr 2017 19:03:16
Wrong Sami. That's Liverpool Sakho who has almost single handed changed Palace fortunes since his arrival. Best our Sako gets is a place on their bench.

17 Apr 2017 19:37:31
WindowWolf, We're also signing Facchetti, Moore and Beckenbauer from Fifa 17 legends.

17 Apr 2017 21:18:47
Sako isn't coming Mate. He's moved on, so must we.

18 Apr 2017 07:56:00
Good call Jas just need Banks in goal.

18 Apr 2017 09:22:19
It could be worse - imagine having Zola as manager. Birmingham City will be in third tier next season.

18 Apr 2017 10:57:18
Brum have appointed Harry Redknapp complete panic down there could have been us.

18 Apr 2017 11:07:21
No way can we afford Tammy Abrahams even if Chelsea wanted to sell. Chelsea aren't stupid, they sign kids and send them out on loan. What have they got to lose? Some come up trumps, like Abrahams. Some don't, like George Savile, and we have him. I know who I'd rather have.

18 Apr 2017 11:17:23
Think you are wrong there DT we can afford him just a case of ow that fits in financially with what they have planned.
I just don't want to see us going for second best if at all posiible.

16 Apr 2017 17:08:53
We are being linked with Chris Martin from DCFC again. would suit I feel.

Agree0 Disagree0

17 Apr 2017 01:14:06
No his ego is to big now and he has lost that goal scoring touch he used to have.

17 Apr 2017 05:19:59
Got a very strong feeling this will happen played for lambert before and proven goal scorer at this level okay people may look at what happened at Fulham but 19 championship apps 9 goals which ain't exactly bad and I would definitely take him.

17 Apr 2017 08:54:01
Chris Martin or something just like this. Type of player we need with a head full of dreams and who doesn't get a rush of blood to the head in front of goal. Sorry.
See we have also had scouts watching Morton defender Thomas O'Ware, no nothing about him but ten goals from a defender is a good start.

17 Apr 2017 09:41:13
Same people who didn't want Chris Woods 😂 Won't want Martin. Proven at this level scored at Fulham with personal issues. He only signed the new contract at Derby cause mclaren promised him he'd be their main striker. Fulham can still activate £6m loan clause so they're in the driving seat.

17 Apr 2017 17:09:55
I don't see Martin or Woods here but I do see signings like Marshall who has been a revelation we still have Henry on our books now I think of it.

16 Apr 2017 09:33:36
Wolves are set to approach Arsenal for a offer loan offer for Stefan O'Connor. Should O'Connor impress, the deal will be made permanent.

Daniel Amartey will be drafted in on a permanent deal, PL is looking to add strength and depth to the midfield.

Players that will be leaving are:

Paul Gladon: Contract terminated

Jed Wallace: Loan move to Millwall be made permanent

Silvio: Contract allowed to expire (including all loanees to return to their parental clubs)

This is what I've heard from an extremely reliable source. "The futures bright, the futures Fosun".

Agree0 Disagree0

16 Apr 2017 10:41:32
Gladon should be shot.

16 Apr 2017 10:51:22
Hope there's a lot more than that coming in and going out or we're mid table at best.

16 Apr 2017 11:15:24
Brimble they tried Every player was given a chance and they all missed.

16 Apr 2017 12:25:26
Amarty is a best. Abosulty what we need.

16 Apr 2017 13:37:27
Ainsley Maitland Niles wouldn't be a bad shout for a creative midfielder from Arsenal too.

17 Apr 2017 00:24:46
Stefan O'Connor just had loan deal cut short at Dutch side. lack of playing time. Why would we take risk on unknown quantity whose only English experience is a couple of games for York City. We already have better in our team at present.

17 Apr 2017 17:13:01
OGW I didn't get that first time round poor Gladon he thought this was his big break I guess he will be loaned to a club in Holland or maybe Scotland next season.
