Kenny Jackett to leave Monday, New owner to be announced 7th July, same day Robert Li will announce his purchase of AC Milan, Links will be created between the English team and the Italian team, the academy has played a huge role in the sale of the club and you'll find a fair few Milan players being trained at our CAT A academy in the future.

1.) 30 Jun 2016 15:18:06
Good source yamyam91?

2.) 30 Jun 2016 15:28:42
I am not so sure Milan will be sold to this guy unless they have had a massive change of plans in the last 48hrs. Who ever thought we would be afeeder club for AC Milan lol.

3.) 30 Jun 2016 15:43:56
Just been checking on the Italian and chinese press sites Robin li is involved in a consortium that may be looking to buy ACMilan. It will be 70% of the club with a value of 700m euro. Wolves 30m is a drop in the ocean comparitivly, but would only involve Robin Li not any consortium.

4.) 30 Jun 2016 16:11:07
I dunno how many times I have got to tell everyone. as nice as it is to have a bit of optimism about Wolves future unfortunatly its all hot air started up by the Spanish Media version of the E&S. there is absolutely no truth in it whatsoever. please do not build up your hopes.

5.) 30 Jun 2016 16:49:41
I'd love to know where you are getting your info from as well Felix the Cat or is it Jez The Fat Cat?

6.) 30 Jun 2016 17:05:58
Or could it be Felix the baggie? . Duh duh derrr!

7.) 30 Jun 2016 17:18:00
Fantastic if this is all true, but why is no national rag running with this. Why hasn't there been an announcement of a press conference either that's meant to be happening Monday.

8.) 30 Jun 2016 17:43:25
Exactly Wolves Moose. there is no national coverage as there is nothing to report. how many reported announcements have I heard that is supposedly happening at Wolves over the last few years. its comical.

9.) 30 Jun 2016 20:27:43
This is not happening take it from me.

10.) 30 Jun 2016 20:58:28
How do you know Banbury?

11.) 30 Jun 2016 21:07:55
He doesn't know, he said Laslett was buyin us?

12.) 30 Jun 2016 21:31:24
Lassett. Apparently bob was the link between robin and wolves I forgetfully left this out of earlyer post sorry.

13.) 30 Jun 2016 21:35:36
So will laslett be part of the takeover or just the man who brought the two parties together?

14.) 30 Jun 2016 22:58:12
So what are we all thinking? That this is the real deal? I believe it could well be and with a good new owner and fresh manager things could be looking up
Coyw.

15.) 30 Jun 2016 23:00:44
So this means our best players will go to Milan?

16.) 30 Jun 2016 23:31:41
I to was a none believer until the Spanish bloke who works for sky got involved on Twitter.

17.) 01 Jul 2016 00:11:03
The lack of transfer activity and Moxey's recent comments tell me that something is imminent.

18.) 01 Jul 2016 18:07:44
Best players to Milan that's funny do they want a chief exec too?

29 Jun 2016 16:19:31
Steve Morgan will be working up until close of play Friday to complete the sale of the club, Julen Lopetegui to be announced Monday AM.

yamyam91

1.) 29 Jun 2016 17:18:02
Hope your right yamyam91.

2.) 29 Jun 2016 17:22:10
When's it bein announced JACKETT has gone?

3.) 29 Jun 2016 17:23:25
Hello Steve's secretary :) . Jumping on the rumour bandwagon I see, shame nobody mentioned any of this before the Spanish press did!

4.) 29 Jun 2016 18:12:05
As we've always said on here we are always the last to know. I've it a bit more faith in this rumour than any of the others.

5.) 29 Jun 2016 18:23:31
Im with u darbo, moxeys official statement is very strange they haven't done this before to deny any previous rumours such as ding lei or laslett, I think there's something in it. Even if its not true i'm going to day dream a little could be a wonderful new start for our great club :)

6.) 29 Jun 2016 19:19:51
I'm so hoping it's just good news, Last season and now England I really could do with cheering up. This would be amazing considering the likes of Villa and Newcastle are spending big already! This supposedly new manager has also been mentioned in conjunction with the Spain job as he was U21s boss so he must have pedigree I think it might show the ambition of the people coming!

7.) 29 Jun 2016 23:35:51
Jacketts going nowhere. the club is nowhere near being sold. just talks but nothing concrete and certainly no offers.

06 Aug 2014 09:22:35
Wolves now in talks with Crewe about Max Clayton. Also Wolves looking to form a link with Crewe for future players.

yamyam91

1.) Seems a god deal. We can loan some of are young players like maca Mcarey etc to get some good time and play a system similar to are self.

Sounds positive for both teams to be honest interesting to see what happens

2.) Been looking at the fixtures ahead, and the strength of the league and think its time for a reality check. I stated in any earlier post I would be made up with a top half finish. There are some serious big hitters in the Championship all hungry to get back into the prem, there has been some big money spent and I now think a mid table finish would see us over achieve.
And so to my beloved Wolves.
In Kenny I do trust 100 per cent, think he's done an incredible job thus far.
1 to 11 think we have a decent young hungry team, but our squad is paper thin in what is going to be a real tough competive season. I believe we have missed out on many championship quality players during the summer and I sincerely hope that we have some red hot irons in the fire, all the hard work from last season, the progress made can't be undone.
I want Jackett and Wolves to have another perfect season, but love or hate me I am the realist.

3.) Totally agree with you realist, I just think we shouldn't buy for the sake of and upset squad harmony, its a vicious circle, buy too many players upsets squad, don't buy enough and we struggle. Everything has got to be weighed up and made perfect else we can risk moving backwards again

4.) We risk movin backwards by not adding quality to the squad, remember it was Div3 we won! Notts forest haven't said well we just missed out on play offs so we will give it another go this season! They've gone and added to their squad! Some on here r in for a shock if they think this squad will achieve anything in this division! Another 8mil parachute payment and we've got 2 freebies! Ambition? None! Paul Tamworth

5.) 07 Aug 2014 10:41:05
Yes we have received another parachute payment but we also lost a hell of lot of money last season. We are not a cash rich club.

6.) I think once the likes of ohara have gone then we will sign /loan new players. someone has posted on sky sports rumours that burnley are after roger and ohara

7.) We had 3 seasons in the prem, rakin it in! We didn't spend big on players, we had full houses, a lot of money was made! We then got relegated with a 48 mil parachute payment over 4 seasons, which we have received 40 mil of, leavin one more payment next season! And all we can do is bring in 2 freebies! Were tryin to achieve things on the cheap and it won't work! Paul Tamworth

8.) 07 Aug 2014 12:56:19
Paul Tamworth, I agree we could have done more to stay in the prem but I also think it was naivety rather than conspiracy that meant we didn't. We thought Johnson, Fletcher, Van Damme, O'Hara, Mouyokolo, Guediora and Hunt would be the star signings we needed and Mick lost his job over those decisions (OK, Fletcher was good).

Kenny has basically said he only wants to sign players he really wants rather than to spend the money he knows his available on whoever he can get.

9.) He really wanted Wilson! He really wanted Maguire! He didn't get them because the money isn't there! Were tryin to achieve on the cheap and it won't work! Paul Tamworth

10.) To be honest none of us can really know who KJ really wants or wanted to sign. Unlike other managers he doesn't reveal this kind of info to the press or to fans he meets. The money is there, but there's no point in spending it on players that aren't going to add to the team. Maguire had his heart set on the Premier League! Wilson was overpriced, one full season in League One and they wanted £3million for him! The key at Wolves now is the team! It has to be balanced in order to work. The side we have at the moment is capable. Add a Chris Wood and it keeps things nicely balanced and adds a bit more quality. Max Clayton is a promising talent.

Does anyone recall Norwich and Southampton spending bucket loads of cash when they got promoted to the Championship? Pricetag is no guarantee of quality! I have a feeling the squad are going to surprise a fair few people this season.

11.) What we got to loose against Norwich really the pressure is on them to get a result not us

12.) 07 Aug 2014 15:06:04
Agree with everything but since leaving the premier league . We have received over 30 million in transfer fees and over 30milllion parachute payment ao that's 60 million in already and we have spent just under 10 million since then I know wages etc get taking into account and we were in league 1 but we do have the money! Just frightened to not take a gamble pn someone like wood or maguire

13.) 07 Aug 2014 16:15:30
We now have young and hungry players in the starting 11, something that we ain't had before. No more Rojo's no more Jamie O'Hara's, just playing to pick up a wage, We have kids that want to actually put the shirt on and play for the fans that travel across the country.

If we was bringing Johnson and O'Hara back into the team instead of signing new players then I would be worried, But Jackett seems to be happy with the balance he has in squad. Splashing big money on players? Do really want to go down that route again, We know the players who we have can perform on the day as shown last season, You don't break league records being a bang average team.

We need to get behind the boys and keep the momentum that we gained last season going.

Bully is god. Jackett is the King

14.) Some good points, one thing for sure we all want the best for the club we were chosen to support, and this a great site for airing your views and a cause for debate.
I think our aims should be modest, and we should respect the league we are in, it's a toughee. If we never kicked a ball in the prem again that wouldn't bother me its now more than ever a billionaires playground and unless we find a foreign investor we will not be able eat at the top table.
Last season was a good as I can remember being a wolves fan, and I hope next season will give me personally as much pleasure, whether it be a win at Fulham, Forest or the blues to give me the same buzz as the wins at Mk, Brentford and Orient.
As I said mid table as some good away days would make me very happy, but another relegation scrap no, we must guard against complacency, this is a big jump from div 3.
As a point for debate give us a points total after ten games, let's see who gets the closest.

15.) 07 Aug 2014 18:49:46
The clubs expectation from the club is top 6. For that reason i'm very worried

16.) I'm going for 14 points.

17.) Instead of being negative and dismissive of the players that achieved so much last season how about support the team, get behind them make molineux a fortress no booing towards our team, how about making the molineux a scary place to come for the opposition, yes we could do witha few more players but that's not going to happen yet, we have a very very good nucleus of a very very young squad that with the right support right from morgan through to jackett sellars and the fans can achieve anything, the futures bright if we don't expect too much this season or next season, i'd be happy with a finish between 12th and upwards! let's focus on developing players like price zeli macca evans batth, because although they were very good last season they have a lot to learn still. let's get behind them, let's let them make mistakes and learn from them, in Jackett we trust, in youth we trust, up the wolves!

18.) 08 Aug 2014 08:12:19
My first guess was win 4 lose 4 draw 2, which is 14 points. But I think I want to be more positive than PT so I will go 4 wins 3 draws making 15. Should finish the season above 60 points so maybe a playoff.

19.) I see tamworth is back to his usual supportive self!

20.) 73 points may get us in play offs! With this squad I wouldn't worry about that! 55 points will keep us up! That is just about achievable with this squad! Just bein Realistic as we have a Div3 lower championship squad! Paul Tamworth

21.) Damn, I was thinking 15. Will have to be more positive still.

Wins - 5
Draws - 3
Losses - 2

Points = 18

On reflection this may be slightly ambitious but it's certainly acheivable and I'll stick with it. 18 points after 10 games.

22.) Il be there Sunday 100% supportive! But u can't make a silk purse out of a pigs ear! Paul Tamworth

23.) After some hard consideration and studying I have decided to go for:

4 Wins = 12
3 Draws = 3
3 Losses ----
15
I seriously would not be upset if this was the outcome in fact I would be bursting with Pride.

24.) Ive just had a look through fixtures and worked out off the top of my head realistic results and ended up with 64 points, and the last 5 years we would finish between 12th and 9th, which this season i'd be happy with, not sure how many other wolves fans would be happy with that but as I keep saying our squad is still learning and 12th - 9th would be a good season for our youth, if we then sign Wood and another CB i'm saying pushing more towards 6th place

25.) Tamworth, . instead of calling last season's division winning team a 'Pigs ear', try supporting them and they may just surprise you as to how they adapt. you seem to only have two extremes - happy clapper or doom merchant!

26.) Bring a couple of quality players in, striker and centre mid and il be more optimistic, this squad is mid table at very best! Paul Tamworth

27.) 09 Aug 2014 08:21:51
Will a couple of players make so much difference?

28.) I think 2 signings down the spine of the team will make a huge differance, striker and attacking mid, as long as their quality. Paul Tamworth

29.) I think maybe another midfielder to play along side McDonald then a striker

30.) 10 Aug 2014 18:41:30
Thought today might be a draw so upping my prediction to 17.

06 Aug 2014 09:22:35
Wolves now in talks with Crewe about Max Clayton. Also Wolves looking to form a link with Crewe for future players.

yamyam91

1.) Seems quiet on Chris Wood? We were promoted before May, it's now august 6th. We've brought in 2 freebies, surely KJ can't be serious when he says he's lookin at promotion with this squad? If he is il have whatever he's drinkin and snorting! Paul Tamworth

2.) Think this will be a great signing for the next few years, and a great link with a club with fantastic youth system. A very good club that we can loan youth players to that will develop them no problem. Will be a very happy wolves fan if this happens

3.) 06 Aug 2014 12:54:52
In Jackett we trust!

4.) 06 Aug 2014 17:13:34
We have not brought nobody in so what!!
We have a young exciting squad who deserve a chance at this level!
In Kenny we trust!

5.) Paul Tamworth got to agree. We can just rely on Dicko and Clarke. We need someone new to freshen the striking options

6.) Kenny said that he could sign players tomorrow but that wouldn't improve us he's waiting for right player and deal

31 Jul 2014 08:41:19
Wolves to sign Nikola Zigic on a 1 year deal. After talks with Wood hitting brick walls

yamyam91

1.) No no no it goes from bad to worst another freebie

2.) Wouldn't suprise me if we don't sign wood now left it to late and Wigan and teams who are favourites to get promoted are also after him

Left it to late as usual then sign rubbish or no one and use the same excuse we tried but couldn't get people to sign or compete

3.) You're the same person who claimed we were closing in on Yassine Benzia and that we were after Grillo.

So no, I don't believe you.

4.) Never never never

5.) 31 Jul 2014 12:37:13
This is a rumour site and that's exactly what these are? Unless the players signature is on the dotted line of the contract everything is a rumour?

6.) Il take anybody at the moment! I thought when we were promoted the idea was to strengthen to make us competitive? At the moment that hasn't happened and a mid table finish at best! Paul Tamworth

7.) Would you not be happy with a mid table finish this year? too many unrealistic wolves fans expecting promotion this year, its not going to be fixed over night. these players are very young and will develop, they're not quite good enough yet

8.) Still the same old predictable pessimist then P from T

9.) There is no excuse anymore, how much longer are we going to have to put up with Morgan and Moxey? They are ruining this club Why don't they just say there is no money instead of this pratting about all the time. I feel sorry for Jackett-shafted again

10.) If McDonald picks up a serious injury we are deep in the brown stuff!

11.) If we take just anybody we will finish mid table. We need someone who will improve our front line

12.) I'm not a pessimist I'm a realist, and this squad is mid table at best! No I won't settle for mid table! Obviously my ambitions are far greater than yours and that of Wolves at the moment! Paul Tamworth

13.) You've got to be realistic if we were to go up we'd get smashed and come back down. Then all the young players that we've developed will lose all their confidence and then we'll have to rebuild again, I don't want to get promoted this year, maybe next season.

WILKO

14.) 31 Jul 2014 21:26:30
Mid table probably means we have a better team than the last 3 seasons.

15.) I agree no point at all getting promoted as we don't have £40 million to spend so might as well find our winning and consistency in the championship mid-table would be good then maybe next year try for promotion! No point destroying our good young lads's confidence by getting smashed by all the prem big boys.

We also don't want to go up and be escaping relegation every year as we have done in the past. When we do go up, And Kenny is still the manager we'll need money to compete in the prem as we want be aim between 10th and 14th to be successful and be able to bring in decent players

16.) Glad i'm not the only one not expecting too much of this very young squad. IMO this has been our problem for the last few years, expectancy, for some reason a lot of our fans expect us to be challenging top8 of the premier league, its not going to be like that, we aren't as big as we used to be, and that doesn't bother me but we need to back these youngsters, back Kenny Jackett, and to be fair, Morgan has spent a lot of money since he has brought us, Moxey is very tight, but on the positive with these two we will never have money troubles, all Moxey needs to do is maybe once or twice offer that little bit more wages to get the players the manager wants not the second choice

17.) Anyone who follows wolves closely would have heard KJ say a number of times that there won't be a large number of signing. That there is going to be a drip feed of players over the next 2 windows, with quality over quantity. We've signed 2 players so why expect so many more? We probably need a striker end of.

18.) Because if we pick up any injuries we will be massively in the brown if bath gets injured macca Clarke or Dicko who do we have? Yes some young players who need developing but having then as the only replacement may be to much pressure and then it's game over isn't it. I don't think we need many just lb to challenge goldbourne or a cb who can play lb. I now rowe can play there bit we've been told he'll be a cm.

Id like to see another cm a solid cdm. And steady one striker that's not a lot and we have 8 mil parachute money which we wouldn't even need to use all Of that.

If you wanted to be telly picky i'd loan out Mcarey and bring I in someone to challenge Ikeme

19.) I see where your coming from, I wasnt having a dig at the people who are asking fro a couple more players because IMO I think we need 2 or 3, but they aren't desperate. Like KJ has said he wants quality and won't buy for the sake of it, which i'd rather him do. i'd say a striker is needed because i'd loan macca out and I don't rate Clarke at all, possibly a CB for cover not desperate, and I wouldn't mind a CM, but again not desperate as we have mcdonald rowe price evans and then the youngster weeks who seems to be getting a look in

20.) I agree loan out Jon Flatt and Aaron McCarey and loan in a keeper for pressure on Ikeme
