News on twitter is that Sevilla's talks with Andre Silva have stalled because the player is "close to joining a Premier League club"

I really can't believe that there is any chance he is coming to Wolves. but at this point you never know!

Not going to lie, Bonatini is looking really great against Young Boys and just scored his first goal since December!

He is linking up really well with Cav and Costa, maybe signing him was a good idea afterall, might have boosted his confidence.

a fair attempt by a young England side, I think we can be proud of the performances put in.

Has anyone seen the photograph on Bastos instagram today showing him with friends wearing Wolves tracksuit bottoms?

Pretty blatant hint he might be coming to Wolves.

A lovely bit of Photo shop by Lazio, just about the best thing to do by a club to start a bidding war!

I know Zinchenko is a good player, but I am the only one who is kind of hesitant to bring him into Wolves if he clearly doesn't want to move and be a part of the team?

Considering this transfer was apparently agreed with City several weeks ago it has been Zinchenko holding it up, even the best players are crap when they aren't motivated or invested in the club.

Twitter is going crazy over Traore stating Wolves have triggered his release clause this afternoon.

Good post, I agree with a lot of your comments

People always have these expectations during transfer season and throw around statements like 'we need an out and out goal scorer' or 'we need a 20 goal per season striker'

People seems to forget how few 20 goal per season strikers are out there, and of them how few are for sale!

The biggest concern with this Wolves side is the lack of depth in key positions, particularly RWB and CM, if you recall when Matt Doherty got suspended we were shocking in the 2-2 game with Hull, lost all shape and confidence.

I would be happy if we signed a big name midfielder (Joao Mario is as good an option as anyone, if Inter want 24m i'd go straight in and pick him up) and a RWB with potential to be second place to Doherty, like Vinagre on the left, throw in another CB and we have a squad which can finish 10th next season.

He plays CM for Portugal, LM/ LW for West Ham.

We already have strong attacking left wing options in both Jota and Cav, wingers Wolves do not need

The fee for Joao Mario is going to be least £30M, Wolves could sign two experienced prem quality defenders for £30m

It doesn't make sense.

Pretty sure that ship has well and truly sailed, I would be stunned if we brought in a Striker.

Priority now needs to be shoring up our defense, we have depth but little quality.

Signing Traore, a CB and a RWB are absolute priority and would see me very happy with this transfer window. If we only bring in Traore i'd be happy but concerned about our leaky defense

The only additional attacking signing I can see us makingg is Wu Lei, because he'd be cheap and would bring in a lot of marketing revenue.

I am not the type to bang on about us needing to bring in players

But i'm not going to lie, I would be disappointed if we go into our first season back in the Premier League with Boly/ Coady/ Bennett as our first choice back three, we definitely need another quality CB, with Ryan Benett as fourth choice.

Saiss is a perfectly servicable CM squad player for the Premier League along with Gibbs-White to add that impact sub option, we have plenty of attacking options with Jimenez, Bonatini, Jota, Costa and Cav

In my opinion Wolves need to drop any pursuit of Traore and with that £18m, buy a £10m CB and an £8m RWB to back up Doherty

The lack of cover for Doherty is worrying, if he gets injured we are stuffed - If I remember correctly, when he missed the Hull game last season we tried playing Afobe on RW and Cav on RWB and it was a total mess.

We've purchased Willy Boly, Diogo Jota, Leo Bonatini, Joao Moutinho and loaned Jonny Castro and Raul Jimenez for the same price as Everton paid for Richarlison.

Find me a Premier League fan who'd rather have Richarlison than those i've listed!

Big cash outlay does not nessecarily signal a good transfer window, Wolves have had an exceptional transfer window so far which is shown by the amount of mainstream media attention we're getting.

15 goals and 4 assists in 34 appearances with a lot of minutes played isn't GREAT

maximum i'd pay is £30m, but I doubt Real Sociedad would release him for less than £50M, finding a replacement would be difficult.

Has it been confirmed that Mir is going out on loan? I know there was something going around about Las Palmas but I haven't seen any reliable news on it.

I'd love Wolves to sign Silva, but I think we need to keep our feet on the ground a bit and realise there are more important positions we need to strengthen (i. e CM) and other positions we need quality back up (CB and RWB)

Don't be too dissapointed if we didn't sign Andre Silva or another Striker!
