Quite shocked of the news that Zyro is being lined up for a loan move? understand he needs to build fitness up etc. think the guy was awesome before he sustained that injury, think he should at least be on the bench.

Really think Zyro flattered ro deceive in, what was a relatively short cameo appearance, Wolves career to date. Two goals in his debut, both quite fortuitous but right place at right time; a great habit for strikers to have.
However after that. I can't remember anything of note. Maybe I'm being too harsh but he has ad pre-season to impress and has failed to do so. Perhaps due to long lay off he will need more time and if that is the case short term loan will bethe answer. Have a feeling however that he will be sold if a buyer can be found or loaned out for season. Room has to be made for any new arrivals and Zyro plus Mason and outside chance of Dicko are those closest to the exit door. The latter will only go if we get a couple over the line and then another opportunity arises late in the window. Rumour of bids being received for Dicko, so they could still be on the table although I, personally, would prefer to see him stay.

Rushden - I think we mustn't under estimate the fact that he was out of the game for 17 months with that dreadful Antony Kay 'inspired' injury. I think Zyro has a lot to offer but hope a few months away playing regularly for someone else will get him back his sharpness and match fitness so he can return to us more like he was when he joined us.
By the way are you Rushden (Northants)? I go through/ past Rushden on my drive up to Molineux - A14 and M6.

For me Zyro's best game for us was Fulham at home a year or so ago. Bizarre strike force on the night was Zyro and Van La Parts, which showed how many options we had available. But from nowhere they struck up an understanding. Absolute pace to burn and deadly on the counter. How we fit that in your future strategy is a conundrum.

I'd love to keep Zyro but if we have several better options in front of him, what then? Loan him out to another club in THIS division. Let him hurt other clubs, and get match sharp, this will all work in our favour. He's still a long-term option for us.

Fat head by his own admission says that Villa are on the edge of breaking FFP, can't see this happening unless it's a loan or Villa sell some players.

Rhodes would be a risk. Can he get back to the levels we know he can reach? On the other hand can he score 15-20 goals and almost guarantee us play offs as much as I would aim for automatic.
Also is Rhodes, dicko and bonatini good enough?
I can see 20 goals between them I'm just not sure any one of them will score 20 goals.
Is rhodes a better risk to take than Oliviera or soares?
Makes you wander. Britt was probably the stand out championship striker to sign but can wolves sign better?
That is the question Nuno and Fosun need to answer.

That's very harsh on Rhodes. Yes he hasn't hit the heights for a season but he's been in and out Boro and Wednesdays teams a lot also changing of manager. The lad has hardly scored for a season but still in the last few season he's about 2 off Chris Martin with something like 50 goals. For Blackburn he netted 75 in 3 and a half campaigns and look where they've gone without him. Would be a great asset for us mark my words. Unfortunately Sheff Wed won't strengthen a rival so it's a non starter for me.

See I don’t want them to get relegated for a few years because wouldn’t it be lovely to sore past them in the Prem and hand out a few hidings to them along the way. My ideal (although unlikely granted) would be for us to go up this season, stabilise then in 4/ 5 years time us get our first Euro qual the same year as they go down then…. now that would be sweet! ;)

To be honest I'd prefer Jordan Rhodes, I think if he had the right service he would get you goals, proven goal scorer in this league, experienced and his goals to games ratio is fantastic.
