great performance from the team and fans alike tonight best our fans have ever been. I was at the last semi at the villa but can’t think for the life of me who Eric young had to man mark it’s bugging me.

Rich de wolf

1.) 20 Mar 2019 08:41:22
Was, Eric young playing for us then
Thought it was curle and Williams centre half's.

31 Aug 2017 19:53:22
I do feel we have someone lined up if not I am still happy. Our club is changing for the good and I have never been this interested in transfer deadline day and I'm sure you all have not been either. In fosun I trust we all should.

Rich de wolf

1.) 31 Aug 2017 20:10:49
We did. Locadia. You can't legislate for someone pulling plug at last minute ( during medical! ) . Prob too late to pull anything out the bag now.

11 Jul 2017 15:35:12

07 Jul 2017 10:17:28
Tim Nash says on twitter that neves has signed for a championship record fee.

Rich de wolf

1.) 07 Jul 2017 10:28:33
hope this is true we need some good news after yesterdays devastating events go team kemes.

2.) 07 Jul 2017 10:31:28
Were are all the doubters gone stating we won't get neves he done and he is a gold and black take that automatic promotion on way the sleeping giant is finally awoken.

3.) 07 Jul 2017 10:45:51
The bull train they have egg on their faces mate. Could name them but not going to. I got laughed at saying it was never going to happen. If they had put the research in they would have seen that it was a totally different affair to the talisca saga.

4.) 07 Jul 2017 11:07:06
out of darkness dare to believe should be our moto not sure many know research just what they hear in a pub or some idiot in dream world fosun will deliver and we be up there soon enough I believe we needed to go through last season to show them what we need for complete assault on it this year and the talisca affair we were told at the start we would not get him so no loss to us let's face it did he go on and smash it were ever he ended up?

5.) 07 Jul 2017 11:31:15
Guys where is the confirmation?
Just want to see it and soak it in!

6.) 07 Jul 2017 12:03:53
Nash says he understands that neves has signed hip he is correct it's on his twitter.

7.) 07 Jul 2017 12:10:51
Even if true nothing will be announced yet especially after the news about ikeme yesterday I think at the moment club just wants to show support to him so are holding off for a couple days on transfer news so might happen sometime over the weekend.

8.) 07 Jul 2017 12:12:00
Waiting for club to tie up lose ends will be confirmed by tomorrow along with 1 or 2 others we trying to get over line the rumour mill is grinding up with a Liverpool keeper please please not bogdan is he good enough for the mighty gold and black shirt?

9.) 07 Jul 2017 12:13:12
Good luck Carl ikeme b positive u will come through it doctors do wonderful things these days.

10.) 07 Jul 2017 12:15:38
Its stating he's signed for a championship record fee of between £16 - £17 million . Also boly was signed yesterday. Can see it more than likely be revealed on both no later than monday. there's no rush as it would come across as quite insensitive regarding yesterdays sad news.

11.) 07 Jul 2017 15:30:34
Glad to see that fosun going for it all bulls blazing

Fingers crossed.

12.) 07 Jul 2017 18:59:46
Where is the official confirmation.

13.) 07 Jul 2017 19:51:39
The club have announced that with respect to the news about Carl there will be no official club announcements today.

06 Jul 2017 18:04:44
Can anyone tell me if the last two deals have gone they please.

Rich de wolf

1.) 06 Jul 2017 18:08:16
Carl ikeme has been diagnosed with acute leukaemia.

2.) 06 Jul 2017 18:21:17
Just read this. omg. fight hard Carl. wolves ay we x.

3.) 06 Jul 2017 18:21:57
Thoughts and prayers to the big man. For him, football is secondary. Get well soon.

4.) 06 Jul 2017 18:52:46
Thoughts with Carl and his family. You can win this fight big man. Chin up the whole of football is with you.

5.) 06 Jul 2017 19:11:41
Hey Carl remember our moto.

"OUT OF DARKNESS COMETH LIGHT"

GodBless you our number 1

7.) 06 Jul 2017 19:38:27
Devastating news thoughts with you and your family bid man

8.) 06 Jul 2017 19:38:41
Put things into perspective when you hear things like this, true wolves, through and through. Stay strong and wish you well Carl.

9.) 06 Jul 2017 19:44:50
Thoughts go with carl and is family, you can get through this carl I have faith in you, football is the least of your troubles at this present time.

10.) 06 Jul 2017 20:20:42
Good Luck Carl my thoughts are with you right now.

11.) 06 Jul 2017 20:36:38
Sending love to Carl and his family.

12.) 06 Jul 2017 21:07:00
The Wolf Pack is with you Carl. fight fight. 👍.

13.) 06 Jul 2017 21:25:07
Such sad news thoughts and love with the big man xx🐺🐺🐺.

14.) 06 Jul 2017 21:45:10
Shocking news and I hope Carl gets through this it will be very worrying for him and his family.

15.) 06 Jul 2017 22:26:50
Awful news about Ikeme. What makes me laugh is how many of you fickle fans were slating him a couple of days ago saying we need a new no1 as he isn't good enough and should be sold. Talk about two faced. You should be ashamed. I wish him all the best and think he has come on leaps and bounds in the last few seasons. Always gives 100% unlike most of you so called fans.

16.) 06 Jul 2017 22:40:18
Good luck Carl Ikeme on your up coming journey!

The wolves are with you all the way!

Out of darkness cometh light. 🐺🐺🐺.

17.) 06 Jul 2017 23:21:33
Terrible, Terrible news about CI. Wish him and his family the best and know he will fight it. Our most consistent player last season. ⚽️👍.

18.) 06 Jul 2017 23:58:00
All the best to Carl. He will be in good hands, it's be found early, he's fit and strong plus medical science has made great strides in recent years with this condition and he can make a full recovery.

19.) 07 Jul 2017 00:19:51
He always had poor energy, like myself. You can see that in his demeanour, thus the lazy jibes. Either way, this news has really hit everyone, hasn't it? I mean, it's Carl Ikeme, one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. Why do you never hear of these things happening to Ronaldo and the like?

20.) 07 Jul 2017 07:10:17
Wow! Something like this has nothing to do with football and should not be used to have a dig at supporters. Also wishing it on other players you don't happen to like? Unbelievable!

21.) 07 Jul 2017 07:14:43
Best wishes to Carl and his family.

And Wavidsmith, that dig at 'Ronaldo and the like' was completely unnecessary. Shame on you.

22.) 07 Jul 2017 07:28:11
Tragic news for carl really do hope he beats this he a true ambassador for our club on and off pitch - think the search new gk will intensify now with this terrible news.

23.) 07 Jul 2017 07:57:55
Wavidsmith-the same ronaldo that gives millions to charities every year? Just because he's arrogant on the pitch doesn't mean anything! What makes him a great player. I often read your posts and think you're a moron but this is amazing even for you.

{Ed001's Note - he also devotes many hours to charity work as well. Just because he is a strutting peacock on the pitch does not mean he is the same off it.}

24.) 07 Jul 2017 08:14:51
Wavidsmith your SCUM and deserve a slap! 👊.

25.) 07 Jul 2017 08:35:56
Pompey and waffle now is not the time for criticism let's just pray and hope Carl battles this and just for the record Carl is not a bad keeper at all been here a long time show respect.

26.) 07 Jul 2017 08:44:41
I find it sick this had to happen to Carl, that's all. Maybe my comments are a bit raw, but Ronaldo is one of the most selfish men you could ever meet.

{Ed001's Note - you are just making yourself look more stupid. Just shut up and apologise for being a moron.}

27.) 07 Jul 2017 08:47:30
Ease up guys. Its about Carl just now. Good luck to him.

28.) 07 Jul 2017 08:48:04
Ikeme has had his good moments as well as bad moments in a Wolves shirt but he always went out giving his all. Fans are entitled to an opinion whether he should be our goal keeper but this news supersedes football. Carl needs the support of everyone to beat this condition. He needs his family, both personal and footballing family. He is Wolves, we are Wolves so stop having a go at other fans this is not the time to do that. Let's all get 100% behind Carl and help him get through it. He is a person 1st and foremost. The football is secondary.

29.) 07 Jul 2017 08:57:27
I think you should be apologising to me, actually, editor. What sort of editor calls a fan SCUM? You should be ashamed of yourself and give the job to somebody who actually answers with decency and not a foul mouth.

{Ed001's Note - no, you fully deserved it as you are acting like it. Grow up and stop acting like a prick. In fact don't bother, just go elsewhere, you are not welcome here. I would rather have decent human beings on my site than bellends who think it is ok to wish a sickening illness on someone they are totally ignorant about. Now don't bother us again.}

30.) 07 Jul 2017 09:06:00
We as wolves fans are all here all the beat and wavid how the hell could you wish that disease on anyone is beyond me woundnt wish it on my worst enemy scum you am.

31.) 07 Jul 2017 09:13:46
Wavidsmith, have you ever met Ronaldo? If not, you can't judge him. I've met a lot of footballers in my job and the vast majority of them are very nice people and nothing like the media reports. Just have a look at all the charity work that footballers do. It's hardly ever written about but it's there.

32.) 07 Jul 2017 09:26:27
Thoughts and prayers with carl and family hope you beat it and yes I wos 1 who said need new keeper and not going to change that as he wos bit hit and miss last year ok not sure how much wos down to illness but do wish you all the best.

33.) 07 Jul 2017 09:27:47
Wavidsmith I called u SCUM not Ed! And I stand by that comment and u really do deserve a slap! Go and support someone else and I hope for your sake even though I don't like u that your never hit with that illness!

34.) 07 Jul 2017 09:32:30
Absolutely devastating news, my thoughts are with Carl and his family, He's a strong bloke and will come through this! Its fantastic how Football has reacted to this from all fans of different clubs. CARL IKEME he's ONE OF OUR OWN.

Wavidsmith you are a disgrace and as long as there are people like you in the world there will never be peace. Completely uncalled for and souring the togetherness not only Wolves are showing right not but Football as a whole. I've stated on here before I didn't know if you were a troll or not but you have confirmed it yourself. I hope Ed has banned your account. You are not welcome here.

{Ed001's Note - deleted his 3 accounts - wavid, wavidsmith and psychicwolf.}

35.) 07 Jul 2017 09:34:38
I'm new to writing on here but wavidsmith you're an absolute nob head. The man has just been diagnosed with leukaemia and you call him lazy and say he's got poor energy! And then wish this awful disease upon Ronaldo, one of the greatest players of the game ever and most charitable in world sport? Sorry but you deserve a good kicking for comments like that. All you do is moan and slag players off anyway but this is the lowest of the low.

36.) 07 Jul 2017 09:41:25
Fair play Ed. 👍.

{Ed001's Note - some people we are better off without!}

37.) 07 Jul 2017 09:57:09
That's supposed to read "right now" not right not.

38.) 07 Jul 2017 10:02:38
Kick him off.

39.) 07 Jul 2017 10:15:05
Social Media helps us deal with the sort of problems Carl is now going through.

The problem is it presents problems like this, anyone can come on and comment, that doesn't mean they automatically have a fully functioning brain.

Let's forget him and move on with Carl.

40.) 07 Jul 2017 10:26:32
Thoughts with Karl and his family. Good work ed. hang your head in shame wavid.

41.) 07 Jul 2017 10:29:02
Forget who?

Carl get well soon bro. Keep positive and we'll see you between the sticks next season.

42.) 07 Jul 2017 10:35:10
Im sure carl ikeme will find plenty of strength from within and all the well wishers, messages of support, family to battle and fully recover from his condition. Get well soon thoughts are with you.
As for the disgusting comments one poster made (not even mentioning his name) no decent human being deserves any misfortune. Ronaldo is a fantastic role model for children to look up to in so many ways, he's done more than most people could ever imagine and dream of regarding good causes etc. Hang your head in shame.

COMETH LIGHT.

43.) 07 Jul 2017 11:31:35
We are all wolves Carl is wolves and part of the family we all stick together.

44.) 07 Jul 2017 14:11:02
Decisive work Ed. Let's get on with the important things - supporting the team and particularly supporting Carl. Everyone here is with you big fella.

I reckon we should be doing the minutes applause in the first minute of matches to signify our ongoing support for our number 1 and that the club should retain Carl as number 1 in the squad list; although I am sure they will anyway.

45.) 07 Jul 2017 13:54:09
Hoping you make a speedy recovery Karl. Wolves ay we!
BB.

46.) 07 Jul 2017 16:48:25
After yesterday's bad news wavid smith shouldn't have said what he said but said it maybe spur of the moment we shouldn't b bickering about it we all shocked upset and saddened over it I'm sure he would get through it and make a come back in between the sticks.

47.) 07 Jul 2017 22:19:03
Hello nice to be commenting rather then watching you all,
I'm not the biggest fan of Carl over the years but I'm very glad we didn't sell him this year, at least he can be treated by doctors he knows in a club everyone has respect and love for him rather then some league 1 club that wouldn't be able to afford proper care for him.
Lots of thoughts for Carl and hope his treatment goes well.

Only once this season I think we deserved to lose and that wa against Watford. I love watching wolves grow in stature and confidence every week. Yes we will loose matches so the moaners come out but can anybody explain how arsenal was so lucky to get a point at the emerates against us. Did they not score a last minute goal against us to win last time we was there.

Rich de wolf

1.) 11 Nov 2018 18:52:27
Happy with a point away at any top 6 club, but lookalike we were good enough for 3. Very proud.

2.) 11 Nov 2018 18:56:56
As usual the BBC lead with Arsenal rescuing a point not Wolves holding them back most of the match.

3.) 11 Nov 2018 19:24:13
So bloody close, but a point I'd have gladly taken before kick off. We can mix it with the 'big' boys and just need a rub a luck. It's the Brighton and Watford we should have seen off so Huddersfield Cardiff are now essential win games. Onwards and upwards what a dream. COYW.

4.) 11 Nov 2018 19:34:31
The boys are doing us proud again. Who on earth would have thought we would be disappointed with a point away at Arsenal?! It's a shame we couldn't hold on but it is another bonus point against one of the big boys. let's follow it up in the next two matches.

So proud to be a Wolf.

11 Aug 2018 19:30:34
We was very naive today gave them a little to much respect. On the good side our fans sounded great and we got a point against Everton. This is not to be scoffed at. all there players have prem experience so well done wolves.

Rich de wolf

{Ed025's Note - yeah well done rich, i think the sending off changed the game but a draw at your place could end up being a good result for us mate..

1.) 11 Aug 2018 20:27:39
When your new signings get in the team I’m glad we played you now.

{Ed025's Note - you have a couple to come in as well rich and traore will add an attacking threat that i think you need mate..

01 Aug 2018 19:50:30
It’s the 1st time in my 35 years going to wolves that we have a owner, board, manager and players on the same page why can’t us fans repay that with positive vibes instead of negative posts. I understand we all have a view but come on did anybody think it was going to be this good ten year ago.

Rich de wolf

1.) 01 Aug 2018 20:21:22
Here here. Nice to see some positivity. Completely agree. Owners, manager, players, football being played, our signings. everything. Fantastic and I'm like a big kid. soooo excited.

2.) 01 Aug 2018 20:27:29
Guys we are blessed with the owners we have they care so much about our club and its future there's not many owners who would turn up to a u23s friendly at Hednesford on a Tuesday night but uncle Jeff and Kev Thurwell were there last night. The project is so much bigger than just this season wolves won't be built in a day the future is so bright guys Nuno knows what he's doing we've just got to be patient and enjoy the ride. IN NUNO WE TRUST.

3.) 01 Aug 2018 20:34:53
It ain’t a bed of roses boys.
Think you will see some Portuguese passion shortly
Just sayin.

4.) 01 Aug 2018 20:44:20
Well said 1877stlukes. Fantastic.

5.) 01 Aug 2018 21:23:55
Rich, 1877. it is pointless trying to be positive with some of these people. Each to their own and all that, and entitled to their opinion, but they are doom and gloom merchants, glass half empty, cloud not silver lining etc. only happy when things go wrong so they can sit back smugly saying I told you so. Probably the same people who get on the players backs during a game and walk out 15min before the end of a game. I sometimes wonder if some of the people on here are Albion trying to wind us up. Anyway in Nuno we trust. #TogetherWeAreStronger🐺.

6.) 01 Aug 2018 23:47:45
Couldn’t agree more.
Wow, just wow how some fans are reacting the way they are that we’re not signing every man and his dog that we’ve been LINKED WITH, emphasise linked with as there has been so many and probably not one was actually on nunos radar.
Yet we we have signed one of the best keepers in THE WORLD and a LEGEND of a midfielder who will work wonders with neves. and a striker who wants to prove himself.
But no fans still aren’t happy they want has beings at our amazing club.
I’ll probably only be able to get tickets at Man United and city away through friends but I still can’t f****n wait. And I’ll still cheer like I’m a wolves fan as I did at the city cup game.

7.) 02 Aug 2018 09:21:31
Thanks Manc_wolf. Great post mate. I started going to the games as a kid in the mid 80's. One of my first memories was seeing the players parading the sherpa van cup. Been hooked ever since. Can honesty say last season was the best football I have ever witnessed and this is the most excited I've been during a pre season. Never in my dreams did I think we would sign the calibre of players we have so far and to get Patricio and Moutiniho for a combined £5m (pending tribunal) is border line ridiculous and a saving of at least £50m in today's market. We are ahead in fosun 10 year plan and have one of the best management teams we could wish for, with owners who really do care. But as you say, its still not good enough for some of these "fans". Realistic expectations for a first season back in the prem is mid table, 2nd season push for top 10, then continue to grow and develop after that. All part of the plan. I'm strapped in and ready for the ride. #TogetherWeAreStonger🐺.

8.) 02 Aug 2018 15:55:13
Yes we have an amazing set up and we are attracting some serious players - to Wolverhampton! I know it's not as funky as London or Manchester but Dortmund is a dump and does ok in Germany so does Lille in France if we establish ourselves as a place where excellent football is played then more top players will come like Leicester have done.

11 May 2018 20:14:40
Potato head is at the derby match does he think he is going to walk it against Middlesbrough so he is eyeing up the opposition?

Rich de wolf

14 Apr 2018 21:15:10
Coady for England he has led us well and been better than any English centre back in the prem.

Rich de wolf

1.) 14 Apr 2018 21:34:56
After the World Cup why not?

2.) 14 Apr 2018 22:49:46
Until you are in the prem you can't claim to be a master of it. Man City alone have more world class attackers than are in the entire championship. let's enjoy today but not get crazy! Coady, Boly, Neves, Jota are the only names I'd be willing to bet on even making it in the prem. let's strengthen and stay up a year before we start asking for england caps! :)

3.) 15 Apr 2018 08:31:47
What bout Doherty tht lads has done fantastic for wolves over the years gota get his chance better then s ward at Burnley tbh.

4.) 15 Apr 2018 08:55:29
Costa, Cav nailed on and I reckon Bennet could do a job.

Because he wanted to see if he could make it work at city being as he played all the pre season games. Never made the squad for the charity shield tho so has to make his mind up if he wants regular football.

Nuno does not play with an out n out striker he prefers a front three that swap about same as last year. Bonatini and jemerez are the same type of player as in hold the ball up well and positional sense very good to bring in the other two. We are blessed in this department just need defensive cover in Nuno we trust.

Negative opinions before a ball is kicked in fact before the plane left for pre season then say you have been a fan for 45 years. In those 45 years it has never been this good so all I’m asking is enjoy the ride I’m scared to think what you think about our national team at the moment I bet it’s not good.

I love to read optimistic posts instead of the negative ones. Last year people was saying we could finish top half with our team now they are saying we won’t stay up. Not even kicked off and there is doubters.

They also said he was offside! Definitely not. The main thing they are missing what a delivery and we had 2 players there onside and no city players to be seen. It was not also deliberate fortune favours the brave fwaw.

Mutinho was also class today, I was not sure about Otto but great today. What a game to show us how good of a team we are and how far we have become. Did not seem as they had so much possession tho prob down to how good of a job our midfield did in keeping them at arms length. One question I have is where will Dendoncker play and who will you leave out.

Well put ed and monkeystig I cannot understand the negativity on here we have only just gone up and people think we have the same clout as a Manchester club can’t you just be happy we are there and see what happens fosun have achieved what that wanted much more quickly than they said they would just back us for once fwaw.
