Have heard from a very good source that if Wolves wanted to go for it, they could get Dani Perejo for a cut price £7 million. We know he's had his problems at Valencia but what a fantastic player and captain! The could also get Alvaro Negredo on loan for one season. All this could be fixed by Jorge Mendes and if we win the division by a street next season, and it could happen with these two in the team, I wonder how many would be moaning about Jorge? Big financial commitment on wages of course, but that would be down to Fosun to decide if they could do it or not.

1.) 13 Jun 2017 16:15:13
I would love Perejo but I doubt it will happen.

03 Jun 2017 23:48:57
Wolves have bid £3 mill + 2 players for leonardo da silva lopes.

1.) 04 Jun 2017 01:11:22
I'm no thanks saying this true but was club shop earlier today (Dudley street) and over heard 2 gentlemen and a young lad who works in there saying that we're about to make a 7.5m bid for Chris Martin I'm not saying it's true just over heard.

2.) 04 Jun 2017 08:15:36
Lopes from Peterborough? Wonder what they see in him.

3.) 04 Jun 2017 08:18:14
He's only worth 1.2 euros according to futurehead! Somebody's telling porkies? 😂😂😂.

4.) 04 Jun 2017 08:19:22
Have you had your uddersfield? 😂😂.

5.) 04 Jun 2017 10:34:16
I can see a possible transfer bid for him but not 3m. 1m plus 2 players seems most likely. Saville and Price perhaps would do a good job for them its their level.

6.) 04 Jun 2017 10:35:27
Chris is not worth 7.5mill noway.

7.) 04 Jun 2017 13:29:19
Hoping it is the other Leonardo da Silva. The one from Partizan, Leonardo da Silva Souza.

8.) 04 Jun 2017 17:06:03
I'd agree dappa but at the end of the day he's proven goal scorer at this level and that's sort of price were going to have to pay for
Those however over the course of the season I have seen a fair few articles about us being at bordeaux games this season with our scouts is there some there were watching.

9.) 04 Jun 2017 22:55:54
Partisan player makes more sense at the fee plus players quoted. Only problem is who could we trade. possibilities are Gladon, Bodvarsson, Prince. None of the home based players would be willing to go so it is only those who have opted to move country previously. Younger options could be Bright, Herc, Deslandes, Zyro, Dickens or Carnat.
Partisan likely to be in Champions League so quite attractive to those willing to travel.
This Leonardo da Silva has a fantastic strike rate for a midfielder.

Peterborough player does look a prospect but sums don't add up for him.

10.) 04 Jun 2017 23:21:09
I'm not on twitter but my mate is and he follows Alan nixton and he got asked if there was anything on Wolves and said quote " Strange some domestic targets as well foreign, despite the mendes influence " now i'd happily sign domestic players as well as foreign to compliment each other and I hope that top of those domestic targets is a proven championship goal scorer.

27 May 2017 13:45:34
Ian Cathro and Austin MacPhee are likely to join Nuno in big coaching shake up!

1.) 27 May 2017 14:42:07
The same Ian Cathro who is manager of hearts?

2.) 27 May 2017 15:09:08
666 not again lol.

3.) 27 May 2017 15:11:20
Who let 666 out of his padded cell?

4.) 27 May 2017 18:46:58
Yes Cathro manages Hearts used to work with Nuno but why would he want to be assistant when he could be managing?

5.) 27 May 2017 18:59:39
Because managing in the Pub League is not a proper job.

6.) 28 May 2017 02:53:22
I really hope we pull this off, just want us to avoid another Lopetegui situation - ie Fosun knowing who they want, then at the last minute there's a hitch on the deal. This bloke's pedigree looks excellent. Would be typical Wolves though if we didn't manage to get it over the line though. Hopefully it's a done deal soon.

7.) 28 May 2017 07:07:33
More like Nanny McPhee 666. Come on in Phil Neville! All we can do is just hope he lasts longer than 6 months and does bring in some quality before he leaves. Roll on the next instalment of our ongoing Drama at the Mol! Let's all hope we can get up the league and in the Prem. ⚽️👍😉.

26 May 2017 12:36:13
New man wants Bas Dost would cost 16 mil + don't think fosun will do it monster of a player mind.

1.) 26 May 2017 13:00:11
He won't come to championship he more likely to go mid table prem club.

2.) 26 May 2017 13:00:40
Funny post 666.start of the weekend here we go.

3.) 26 May 2017 14:02:38
OK 666 where did you get that from?

4.) 26 May 2017 14:25:57
Where did you see that hwrk666? I agree he certainly knows where the net is Das Bost that is. That would make a change for us at the front. Someone who can actually put the ball in the net! Can't see this happening though. He's more likely to be off to the prem. ⚽️👍😉.

5.) 26 May 2017 14:27:05
Sorry that was Bas Dost. Predictive text again! 😉.

25 May 2017 20:34:07
Wolves will announce the new first team coach next Thursday, with six new young players all, from Portugal to join the club shortly, could be exciting times!

1.) 25 May 2017 21:00:04
And you know all this how?

We'll see.

2.) 25 May 2017 21:01:28
Yeah more like a repeat of this season where we end up doing crap and finishing mid table, with a bunch of foreigners who don't know the league.

3.) 25 May 2017 21:05:06
This is not correct. See my post at the end of the last thread.

4.) 25 May 2017 21:10:41
We need a bit more than that. Can you substantiate your claims?

5.) 25 May 2017 21:33:35
That post is 12 months late!

6.) 25 May 2017 21:58:33
Spiers is reporting that we are closing in on santo!

7.) 25 May 2017 21:59:11
Welcome to Wolves Nuno Espirito Santo!

8.) 25 May 2017 22:35:25
Nuno santos is who it is! ⚽️👍😉.

9.) 25 May 2017 23:07:08
Old Wulf where did you get the Monk comment from? Prove it please I can't find it.

10.) 25 May 2017 23:11:37
Hope he brings Danilo Pereira with him from Porto, class player!

11.) 26 May 2017 07:49:57
Helder costa was a "foreigner who didn't know the league".
How can any of us possibly know that we won't get a few more of his kind in this bunch.

Quit the negativity.
Could be awesome, could be disastrous.

But that's football.
I for one am excited.

12.) 26 May 2017 08:51:54
Mourinho left Porto and had no experience in England? What did he do in his first season. oh wait he won the Premier League, broke a load of records and with only one defeat!

13.) 26 May 2017 08:58:01
Wouldnt mind it and garry monk is a spurs fan.

14.) 26 May 2017 09:28:01
Well said Plymouth! Exciting times again. Much rather try Nuno than stick with Lambert.

15.) 26 May 2017 09:58:11
Well said Plymouth! Nuno looks to be a great tactician, has managed some top players and speaks very good English, in case that's an issue for anyone. Who knows how it will work out, but this is serious intent and ambition being shown by Fosun!

16.) 26 May 2017 10:14:59
Lambert knows the league and look where we finished. the top 3 places filled by managers who didn't know the league. speaks volumes for me.

17.) 26 May 2017 15:32:24
No, Demon out of the managers who were in the tope three.

3 got the final say on transfers which we don't

2 were got due to chairman's desire Nuno isn't Fosun's decision

1 had previous experience of the championship and almost got the title second time asking.

I personally think this is like the Jackett situation again. We need to back lambert yes costa coming in was Mendes' shout, but just because of that doesn't mean that the best talent is coming in.
I thought mendes originally was just to aid the manager about some potential transfers not to dictate who comes in or out.
Mooy, Lawrence, Hanely are a few of the great names who are proven in the championship who we are going to miss out on this season, because Fosun think that signing random players and putting them into a team will work, NEWS FLASH it doesn't work and it never will. Look at Brighton they got players who not only have premier league experience but also players who have played in the premier league.
I'm calling that if we don't keep lambert then it's going to be another mid table finish next season. Unless a miracle happens and this time next year you can hold me to this.

18.) 26 May 2017 16:10:15
If we kept Lambert it would be mid table at best! Anyway forget Lambert he's the past, move on!

19.) 26 May 2017 17:18:09
Yes Lambert knows the league but he's still absolutely clueless. Wrong selections, wrong tactics, wrong formations but it's ok because he knows the league.

31 May 2017 17:23:46
Alvaro Negredo on a one year loan from Valencia anybody?

14 May 2017 16:00:05
I do feel sorry for Paul Lambert, but I think we have to remember the job at Wolves is for a 1st team coach not a manager. Many people seem to get this mixed up. I think the new coach will be Marco Silva or Aitor Karanka and they will be required to coach the players that Fosun wish to loan or purchase. I believe it's possible that these two have already been offered the job and I can say without going into detail that Jeff Shi is a good man with the intention and wish to eventually get Wolves promoted to the Premier League.

1.) 14 May 2017 16:10:05
Well according to an article I have read about Hull's relegation on the BBC Sport site, there is a link to an article from the Independent linking Silva with replacing Puel at Southampton.

2.) 14 May 2017 17:03:49
So a head coach is brought in to make the team play well but he is given dross by someone higher up the food chain. So he fails to achieve what the club want and is sacked. The guy who brought in the dross stays. Makes sense does it?

3.) 14 May 2017 17:12:17
Nothing in the world of Wolves has ever made sense OGW.

31 Jan 2017 20:36:11
Have Wolves hijacked Wigan's Omar Bogle deal?

1.) 31 Jan 2017 20:42:05

2.) 31 Jan 2017 20:49:06
No news of that anywhere. All about marshall

24 Jan 2017 11:44:08
Everton have offered Benfica 11 mil for Helder Costa, come on Fosun if you are really big time people sign him up for a permanent deal with us!

1.) 24 Jan 2017 12:55:27
There is no way Wolves could ever dream of competing with Everton at the moment. Costa deserves to be playing in the Premier League and we ain't going to be there next season. I think Koeman would get the best out of him. If it happens I hope he does well for them.

2.) 24 Jan 2017 13:09:09
Jorge Mendes has asked Benfica to recall him this month in order for the sale to be completed by the end of the transfer window. Hopefully Benfica refuse and allow him to stay with us and increase his value in the summer.

3.) 24 Jan 2017 14:20:02
Let's face facts Costa will leave anyway you cannot blame him, you cannot not want him to do well with a premier side after what he as done for our club, because we certainly won't get there this season and the only conclusion then is, does he want to stay another season with us on loan and hope that we can challenge for promotion next year, to be honest I cannot see him doing that.

This is the gamble you take with loan players, I would of thought it would be in Wolves best interests to have first refusal on these loan players with an agreement that the player wants to come to our club when we have them on loan, not play them and get fit and go to another club that to me is another big mistake we are makeing, same as Andrea's Weimann if he starts scoring after getting him fit will he go back to Derby, at this rate we will never get a settled side.

Fosun need to show they mean business to the fans and get players in next time round of quality to challenge more seriously next year, they surely have the money but will they spend, the players on contracts so far have been disappointing to say the least.

21 Jan 2017 18:01:24
Do you guys think Fosun are still really interested, let's have honest opinions?

1.) 21 Jan 2017 18:16:47
Our current numerous strikers couldn't strike a match between them, that's the problem! 3 of them need to need to be let go. We need goal scorers at the sharp end!

2.) 21 Jan 2017 18:26:54
Summer will tell, I think like many Fosun have written this season off we won't go down or get promoted, expect to see more youngsters making an appearance see what they can do.

3.) 21 Jan 2017 20:20:21
On paper we have a great strike force if we sell them you know what will happen
Think we are going to have to go with it this season and wait till summer

4.) 21 Jan 2017 20:50:45
. but wait for who in the summer? Bamford ain't coming, neither is Rhodes, Keane and Crouch too old, every one else heading to China. Tell me who? I just can't see any excitement happening here for years. In all honesty our only marquee signing in years has been . Kevin Doyle

5.) 21 Jan 2017 21:15:14
Liverpool will be laughing at us

6.) 21 Jan 2017 21:32:58
Are we not laughing at liverpool

7.) 21 Jan 2017 21:41:36
Bet Swansea are'

8.) 21 Jan 2017 23:37:18
Fosun are long term investors who see huge value in promoting the Wolf brand in China. O.K. it hasn't happened instantly but it didn't with Chelsea or Man City etc. It will be given time so keep the faith.

9.) 22 Jan 2017 10:33:07
well said wolabby I remember when man city got taken over, they bought huge players massive amounts of money and it didn't work from the off for them, Fosun are smart they will spend the money when they need to and that's in the summer getting ready for 17/ 18 season is now in my opinion.

10.) 22 jan 2017 13:09:06
i also think next year if fosun mean business, lambert will sort it out all we can hope for is finishing mid table or higher and a good cup run. good luck saturday you never now .
we are wolves ay we.

Don't Know Ed and Brentford was what I meant with Hogan. but I m told Lindsay is one hell of a player good in the air with a great left foot.

{Ed007's Note - I'm not saying he's not worth it mate and even though it's pennies to English clubs it's an absolute fortune to Partick - I'm sure you could get him for a good bit less than that plus add-ons for future successes, appearances, promotion etc.}
