Linked to Adam le fondre.

CricketWolf

1.) 06 Jul 2015 12:16:34
Hope Not , Yh he is a finisher but what does he do for the team? nothing else , I would like a striker that has something about him . like a built up no-nonsense striker or a frightening one with Pace.
i think some decants ones out there Nakhi Wells and maybe James Vaughn but they may re register sam Gallagher from Southampton. I hope we avoid signing Sammi Ameobi and go for Jesse Lingard on loan as he is a way better option and way more proven than spider legs Ameobi. My newcastle mate thinks he is utter tripe.

2.) 06 Jul 2015 16:06:48
I'd more than happy with le fondre and so would quite a lot of wolves fans

3.) 06 Jul 2015 17:09:20
Agreed Matt

4.) 06 Jul 2015 17:39:37
Agreed guys leFondre will do a job
Lingaard was pants at Derby - so say Derby fans
Ameobi living off his brothers exploits

5.) 06 Jul 2015 18:41:40
Ameobi living off his brothers exploits? Christ he must be bad. Didn't think Shola was that good so Sammy must be awful.

Wolves apparently interested in reading full back, Welsh international, Christ Gunter, looks decent plays right back, thoughts?

CricketWolf

1.) Can't see it he's a regular for reading! We'd have to cough up a few million

2.) Happy Christmas everyone have a good one and let's hope for 6 points!!

3.) The wolf he don't play as often as you think and he can play CB I think that's what KJ might be thinking

4.) Honestly as we know some rumours going round about players and Morgan spending money, well this is what brings me to what I'm about to say, I think Steve Morgan will actually spend tbh I think he has looked at teams that have spent 3-5m on players that have scored goals or kept them out at the other end keeping clean sheets and players that we have Been after who have spent that money and beat us to them that's why I think Steve Morgan has told kenny he can spend money in January well that's my opinion anyway

5.) 27 Dec 2014 03:09:40
Good win last night thought we deserved it played some good stuff McDonald and price played well like they do van la parra and sako caused problems dicko was excellent and I'm hoping that kj has noticed this and Steve Morgan we need to players that can cover for sako and dicko while there gone at AFCON in January in my eyes we looked a different team with dicko back in with sako

6.) 27 Dec 2014 06:53:47
Just little thing here guys my mate did it to me and tbh I didn't know who stay lmfao even tho I have mentioned players before, so here it is:

Put your self in KJ shoes when January comes before sako and dicko go away, Steve Morgan says you have 7m to spend who would you buy/loan

7.) 27 Dec 2014 06:58:26
Right Matt. Those 5 players should be our first choice miss and forwards along with one other from Graham, Edwards, Henry and Evans.

Have we sorted the defence now?

8.) Maguire
Forshaw
Pringle
Doyle (chesterfield)
Wood

This would also be less than 7m.

I would also like a cheeky bid for Bent.

9.) Pringle, yes please.

10.) Darren bent was born even further offside than SEB! He's no good

11.) Lol! We've got Clarke Macalinden and Cassidy on our books but Darren Bent is no good? Good 3 pts let's hope for 3 more tomorrow! Mighty Wolves 3 Brentford 1

Why are we so boring when it comes to pre-season friendlies, play a few decent teams that might actually challenge us for once! Or give us a chance to watch us combat some PL teams seeing as friendlies or the cup is the only way that's going to happen anytime soon!

CricketWolf

1.) 13 May 2016 20:32:47
Lescieter city our home friendly Sir Jack's tribute game.

2.) 13 May 2016 20:53:36
Because if we did that we would get hammered, builds confidence for us to play against lesser teams, gives a winning feeling. What's the point in playing Man City when we can't beat Bolton?!

At the moment some fans will literally complain about everything the club does. SMH.

3.) 14 May 2016 09:53:14
We played Villa in a warm-up last summer. We normally play a decent Spanish team as well every summer.

Why not the likes of Watford or Swansea this year?

We didn't exactly get hammered at Upton Park in a competitive cup match recently, did we? A lucky 1-0 win for West Ham, who were too good for Man U.

We definitely need to stretch ourselves in the warm-ups, as well as having some easy games.

4.) 14 May 2016 13:10:35
What about a tour of Germany plenty decent teams outside top div - st paule for one don't expect huge teams but good level for a challenge be good or maybe club finally thinking about fans and expense of travel / tickets trying keep costs down.

5.) 14 May 2016 16:29:55
Would love a pre-season Midlands Cup! Wolves, West Brom, Villa and Birmingham in an Emirates Cup-style tournament. That would be electric!

6.) 15 May 2016 00:19:08
Don't forget Walsall in that cup ww.

7.) 15 May 2016 09:33:03
True Jimmy Jones!

8.) 15 May 2016 15:38:25
Midlands cup not much fun for Walsall they even get beat by small health and villa would be a guaranteed 3pts 😂.

9.) 15 May 2016 18:06:22
Walsall had a much better season than us and Villa.

10.) 16 May 2016 18:32:16
WolfieWilde,
What a tournament that would be! Sadly I think the Old Bill would put the block on. The potential for aggro is too great.

23 Feb 2016 19:20:01
Have Wolves fixed the screens in the stadium? I have heard a few people mention that they have been repaired, but seeing as they have been out of action for so long, it is hard to believe. Will someone just confirm this for me please?

Thank You.

CricketWolf

1.) 23 Feb 2016 20:40:09
Not at the last home game been btoke for years now so can't see it.

2.) 23 Feb 2016 20:43:58
Nigel Pearson now or we will go down.
No sale it's miles away, the bid could have bought Bolton 2.5 times
The games up.
Redman ain't going to sell, he is going to let us die,
That's the truth, that's from the horses mouth.
Saturday is our time.
Be as one or that's it.

3.) 23 Feb 2016 20:48:23
Don't want replays of what we're playing right now.

4.) 23 Feb 2016 20:53:34
The whole sorry state that we are in has largely happened since we sold Stearman. All gone pear-shaped since he left. Great move guys - footballing reasons - yeh right. Loan window still open but nothing happening. Has KJ noticed we're not scoring?

5.) 24 Feb 2016 09:00:28
Cricket wolf they cannot fix the team never mind the screens.

06 Jul 2015 11:09:47
Benin Adobe will wear the number 10 Shirt this season!

CricketWolf

1.) 06 Jul 2015 12:58:27
Do u mean afobe wears #10? Or we made another signing that not been anounced ;-)

2.) 06 jul 2015 13:34:01
of wolves' absentees in france - price & saville have slight knocks, razak boukari isn't ready for full training and lee evans is sorting a loan move.

19 Apr 2015 00:49:43
Not the result we wanted today, but to be honest are we really ready for the premier league yet?
Okay, say we do not get promoted, which players do you want to sign for next season which will help us achieve the goal of promotion? I shall start us off.

We need a new CB not sure who yet

LM - If sako leaves, I think Tom Ince loan deal (view to permanent) or MIchal Antonio are ideal replacements

We need a new CM as well - maybe guedioura been superb for Watford recently not a great BPL player though. Need a box to box cm.

Finally- a new ST- a different style to dicko and adobe though someone like bamford or wood who has height.

We should be able to afford these players. Doyle leaving already grants us 40,000 a week, sake - if he leaves another 25,000. TBH I think it is also time to move on with Mcalinden and Cassidy as well. Clarke will leave another 10,000. that's already 75,000 a week freed up. If my maths is correct and sake is 25,000, we should be able to afford 3 sake quality players!
this is where we see how much ambition there is from Morgan, because let's all be honest, WE DESERVE TO BE IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE

WOLVES AY WE!!

1.) 20 Apr 2015 13:40:59
WE need a leader for next season in the Ricketts and Paul Ince mould. A new CB, LM to replace Sako (Tom Ince), CDM to allow Macca to be more effective in a slightly more advanced midfield role & another striker, who offers something different to Benik & Nouha - Chris Wood?

2.) 21 Apr 2015 16:44:23
Chris wood refused us and has done nothing for ipswhich as of yet

20 Mar 2015 23:17:48
BRILLIANT WIN TODAY!!

I was watching the post match interview on youtube and KJ was asked if he is having a day off tomorrow.

His reply
"No, i'm scouting"

V interesting!

but like I said very good win today, didn't expect to lose today but didn't expect a 2-0 win either, great way to kick off the weekend, let's hope results go our way tomorrow, with a lot of the top 9 playing one another!

Finally, what a finish from Nouha!!

CricketWolf

1.) 21 Mar 2015 08:35:49
We needed that win to stay in the mix. No team wants to play us now. I wish we had that ref vs Bournemouth!

2.) 21 Mar 2015 10:45:02
Terrific result against a good Derby side let's hope results go for us today.
Wish we could get a loan player or two for Thursday that would give us a good chance of making playoffs

3.) 21 Mar 2015 13:04:46
Massive win! Got that bit of luck u need, 13 pts out the final 7 games will hopefully be enough! When is Ikeme back as I've got not faith in our keeper.

4.) 24 Mar 2015 13:05:10
Without loan player or players I don't think we will make playoffs although we have tried really hard and it was a good earned win against a very good
Derby side we would probably have to meet them if we achieved playoffs and being honest we would have to have the same bit of luck to beat them again our midfield is my biggest worry were we Need a player to take some pressure off McDonald that's were I think our weakness is as teams take control of midfield against us and we seam to play deaper and deaper allowing other teams to much room to get shots at our goal

5.) 24 Mar 2015 14:09:15
We could always bring Evans back, bigwolf. But I think you mean a Premier quality CM. Well, we can't get one of those on loan unless they are out of favour at their club, which would really need to be a mid-table Premier club to be worthwhile. Perhaps someone just back from injury. Actually I can't see it happening unless something drastic happens like KM getting injured.

6.) 26 Mar 2015 08:47:30
Loan players are only any good to us if they are better than those we already have. I find it very interesting that the people who want us to bring in loan players never seem to come up with any names. We have a very good team, not perfect, but certainly doing the business and moving in the right direction. Kenny has put this team together with due diligence. That same due diligence will have been applied to examining the loan market and if nobody is brought in you can rest assured that there is nobody out there that fits his criteria which will include not only playing ability, but temperament, character and ability to fit in to the system.

7.) 26 Mar 2015 10:19:28
It's all to do with money Jack Russell, if Sako or Macdonald get injured who in our squad is good enough to replace them? IMO we haven't anyone! Our best 11 is good enough to get play offs but our squad is weak on quality. Fingers crossed they don't get injured or forget anychance of play offs.

8.) 26 Mar 2015 11:00:36
Got to agree with comments Paul, spot on
We surely have had long enough now to get players in we can all see what we want to try and make playoffs hope something is done
There are a lot of players going out but nothing coming in which I find strange with position we are in at present
Young players coming through is great for club but you need a mixture of both spending money as well to become a great club and get to premier were everyone wants to be I hope I know I do

9.) 26 Mar 2015 11:05:30
It's always to do with money, Paul. Which is no why I do not see any loan players coming in unless they are better than those we already have. We did OK when Sako was off at the ACN and, whilst I rate McDonald, he has had his off days and we have still won. I can see that KJ would argue that we could cope with what we have.

Interesting point you make on the injuries though. Have you noticed how our injury list has plummeted since KJ took over?

10.) 26 Mar 2015 12:53:30
You will only get better players if your willin to pay the bigger wages, it's like shoppin at Poundland compared to Harrods, and sadly were lookin closer to Poundland! We have done well this season to still be in the hunt for a play off spot as our owner and board have shown little or no ambition!

11.) 26 Mar 2015 17:30:00
We need to stay solvent and within the rules, Paul. We are not in a position to shop at Harrods at the moment. Of course we all want to see our team in the top flight and competing with the best, but I would rather that we did not emulate Portsmouth in doing so.

12.) 26 Mar 2015 18:22:29
R u Morgan or Moxey in disguise?? I was only lookin for a couple of LOAN signins till the end of season!! That means we only pay wages for a couple of months max!! We can easily afford that with the top earners like Johnson and Ohara off our wages! Plus other players we've loaned out. Really hope we can sneak it into play offs as then it's anybody's but we are tryin to do things on the cheap!

13.) 26 Mar 2015 19:58:19
What couple of loan signings were you hoping for Paul? Kenwyne Jones goes from Cardiff to Bournemouth, Jonny Williams and Zeki Fryers go to Ipswich. Williams has been injury prone, Jones is hardly prolific and, with the players we have, we don't need Fryers even for cover.

You seem to want loan players as if they were some kind of trophy, but you haven't put a single name forward to support your argument. If they aren't better than we already have, then we shouldn't want them.

14.) 26 Mar 2015 21:05:12
I'd of acted earlier and gone for Knockaert, Grealish and Albrighton. I'd of been happy with 2 out of them 3. Any of them would be a positive to our squad!

We bid 7M for Martin in the summer, they were not suggesting that we have bid for him again.
