Seems Danny has gone to Boro a good move for him typical Pulis type of player and a good fit for Boro not one of my favourite players a bit to limited for where we are now and going forward but a fantastic pro with s great attitude a great club man good luck danny.

1.) 31 Aug 2018 17:48:59
And Bright to Kilmarnock probably why we didn't see them playing in the cup match.

2.) 31 Aug 2018 20:33:44
Only Neves and Patricia called up by Portugal.

3.) 31 Aug 2018 20:34:34
Good luck Danny Batth
Great Pro and bleeds gold and black
Some supposed fans on other sites disrespecting him, shows they know nothing about football.

4.) 01 Sep 2018 08:21:29
Scratos people have short memories Batth was among our best players before the Fosun investment in a defense with Doc Stearmam Iorfa Hause Ebanks-Landell we are fortunate to have Boly and Bennett has been a surprisingly good signing and Coady playing in a position that didn't exist before Nuno so good luck Danny you could be in another promotion winning team.

5.) 01 Sep 2018 09:23:39
I agree guys. Danny is Wolves through and through but time moves on and it is clear that he is not in Nuno's plans. Whatever his limitations and whether these will be exposed in the Premier League, he led our team in our rise back from a crisis and his contribution should not be forgotten.

6.) 01 Sep 2018 11:57:54
It's simple, if Batth wants to play regularly he leaves us as he has.

7.) 01 Sep 2018 12:41:47
Batth will win promotion with Middlesbrough snd alongside George Saville there, an England call-up.

8.) 01 Sep 2018 21:20:36
I wish Batth and Saville all the best for the future. A rumour is that Saville’s move will be made permanent for £7.5mil. That shows how far he has improved. That said, neither player is of the standard Nuno expects in the PL.

Got a mate whose a Swansea season ticket holder he reckons we are close to signing Alfie Mawson if it happens I think that it would be a great signing.

Bigste64

1.) 27 Jun 2018 16:02:36
Would be a brilliant signing but I don't believe we are "close" to signing him.

2.) 27 Jun 2018 17:10:25
Mawson would be a great signing young and ambitious.

3.) 27 Jun 2018 18:02:04
I think there are some interesting developments.
1) Most players that’s we were after have either been signed or we were never after. As I think this sporting situation proves.
2) there is an emphasise on finding the right English youngster to join us in a position that would strengthen us. And for the right price according to FFP. I have two thoughts on this-1) the club know the fa and league are planning to put more emphasis on young players coming through. 2) I think it will be a blend between academy and brought in. I am surprised we didn’t look at Maddison but Nuno must have better attacking option so in mind.

4.) 28 Jun 2018 13:37:10
Sorry, but we actually are very close to signing him.

5.) 28 Jun 2018 15:51:29
Evidence?

08 Jun 2018 22:24:34
Patrício has signed and Raul Jimenez signed on loan.

1.) 09 Jun 2018 06:58:01
Haven’t seen anything yet bigste but it’s starting to look that way as they say no smoke without fire and there seems to be a lot of smoke on this one lately especially with sky reporting Napoli are in for one of Barcelona keepers.

2.) 09 Jun 2018 08:52:40
I have heard that wolves are in advanced talks with rui patricio and could sign next week. I hope so.

3.) 09 Jun 2018 11:20:55
RUi Patrício to sign on a free Jimenez to sign on loan next week.

After years of having hopes and dreams banished by pinky and perky we really are lucky to have the owners we have now the transformation in our club in just over a year is staggering all 4 of the west mids big 4 are chinese owned.

but in reality compared to fosun what have they spent? villa splashed out last year but you can say they just spent the parachute money. blues well loads signed but little or no quality and the tescos well what they done fosun have done a fantastic job in sourcing nuno, letting him bring his own team in and leaving the foitball to him.

the players from uncle george are beyond belief imagine what he will deliver when we do reach the premier league, the football is unbelievable. fosun renegotiate nunos contract. this man will build a dynasty we can now hope and dream we have been sold down the river so many times, but this is our time.

we are on a roll and shooting for the top thank you nuno thank u fosun thank you uncle george and thank you dad for telling me at our first game together in 1973 that wolves were the greatest team in the world. you know what, in a few years we might just be wolves aye we.

Great stuff Bigste64.
I first travelled to watch Wolves v Coventry in 1967 and I have been hooked ever since. Lived in Ireland, Ukraine, Cheltenham and now Nottingham so every game for me has been an away game. Loving every minute now. This is honestly the best football I have ever witnessed at the Molineux.

Thank you Fosun, Jorge, Nuno et al.
Long may the ride continue.
Win the premiership before I pop my clogs and I will die a very happy man. If you can squeeze a champions league title in.
Come on me babbies.

2.) 07 Nov 2017 12:18:22
Bigste64.
Good summary of where we are at compared to the other Chinese-owned local clubs. Fosun mean business, whereas the other owners are just going through the motions.

3.) 07 Nov 2017 17:16:37
And who have we got to be grateful too. One Mr Steve Morgan selling the Club to Fosun me thinks. He left the club in goods hands. Now more often than not that is definitely not the case!

Well done to SM and a huge thanks. ⚽️😉👍.

4.) 07 Nov 2017 19:12:29
It's magic!

5.) 07 Nov 2017 20:27:09
Yes Wolvescoast well said, we have a lot to thank Steve Morgan for, leaving us in safe hands with Fosun, and for the stadium and academy.
Think Morgan took the club as far as he could and realised he could not take we no further, but all credit to him he realy did care what happens to Wolves.

6.) 07 Nov 2017 20:58:58
Have to agree COAST, he put a lot of money into Compton and made the club attractive to purchase.

7.) 08 Nov 2017 23:03:05
Ive been supporting the wolves since the 1950s this is the best football I've seen sines then bill mcgarry and John barnwell had there moments of glory but the football we playing at the moment is unbelieverble Nuno nows how he wants to play and nows exactly the sort of players he wants he wants more signings in January maybe 2or3 in.

8.) 09 Nov 2017 07:14:28
Great time to be a Wolves fan!

One point though; Morgan sold the club to the highest bidder.

Don't credit him and the pieman with some master plan of attracting Fosun. It was luck!

Morgan would not care one little bit about what happened after he had got his money.

9.) 09 Nov 2017 12:55:02
WABFK ofcourse he didn't care that's why he put a clause in the sale saying 30million has to be invested in Wolves as part of the sale.
Give the guy a break he messed up yes but he ensured Wolves were left in safe hands.
If he didn't care why does he still go to Wolves matches?
Moxey on the otherhand I agree he didn't care less but he kept the club debt free which made it more attractive for buyers.
Anyway that was then this is now good times are coming.

10.) 09 Nov 2017 19:36:03
Well spoken RatedRKO, Morgan did the right thing and left the club in safe hands in my opinion and does care about the football club and after all said and done we can see the best football for years being played at our great club I for one thank Morgan for what he as done.

11.) 10 Nov 2017 18:46:41
Agreed ratedrko, what a tossed wabfk must be to say that! Morgan did care, what’s more he even admitted mistakes were made. Some which will have cost him a lot personally! He’s a well known philanthropist, and does a lot for children in need in Africa on their need for clean water, as well as other things.

So a decent man who admits mistakes were made. Improved our club while he was there. He who makes no mistakes isn’t working.! Well done SM and thank you for your positives whilst at the Mol. ⚽️😉👍.

7.) 01 Jul 2017 00:47:30
From OJogo

There is a good proposal on the table and SAD has the possibility to ease the bills with one more product of the training.

It is the player's manager, Jorge Mendes, who is leading the operation, but Reuben is up to date and prepared for any scenario. If the transfer is not completed today, this can happen in the coming days and be referred to UEFA as an annex to the 2016/ 17 Report and Accounts. Dragons, however, prefer to follow the rule and close what is to close until midnight on June 30, 2017: today, therefore.

8.) 01 Jul 2017 07:05:18
only just seen that we are being linked to ruben neves and I nearly fell off me chair! i'd s**t my pants if we signed him. Seems way to good to be true! Please please Mendes make this happen.

9.) 01 Jul 2017 08:50:33
Can you imagine going from Saville or Edwards to Neves?

I'm sure when the season kicked off we would all have gladly taken where we are now. However I'm sure in the future we will look back and realise that we have missed a golden opportunity to finish top 4.We are so close but even if fosun do invest I doubt it will be to the level required the 4 clubs we've chased 4th with spurs arsenal Man U n West Ham will all invest heavily we are in danger of being overtaken by Newcastle villa and Leicester who will all invest palace have improved Everton if they survive can't possibly be as dire. The blame I think lies firmly at the feet of shi and the failure to back Bruno surely where we were at the beginning of January warrented lnvestment to push for top 4 what did we do weaken us by loaning traore with no obligation to buy please please tell us what advantage that was to us as a club. It's clear neves will be gone as we don't match his ambition but can you trust Batman n robin to obtain his worth in the market because I don't.Massive window coming up will we push on or will we fall by the wayside we all hope we push on but deep down we all know we won't.

Bigste64

1.) 25 Apr 2022 09:50:03
I *think* the reason Bruno wasn't backed was FFP. I agree on the next window. It will be huge.

2.) 25 Apr 2022 10:34:23
Its the nine or so games lost 1-0 when we weren't played off the pitch, turn those games to a 1-1 draw and the table looks very very different! I think we need to be careful about over reacting. Bruno has done his best with what he's got. Stan Cullis was responsible for the term percentage football I believe (pepper the box and take a percentage of chances). We tried it first 3 games and lost 1-0 each time. It was obvious then we would struggle to score goals. Once injuries and suspensions to the forwards kicked in we were always going to have problems (Neto, Podence and Raul in the last few games), so dissapointed yes but as others say a good window and we could do really well.

3.) 25 Apr 2022 13:45:43
Makes you wonder where we’d be if Nuno hadn’t been forced out, would have had a Head Coach playing with his own players for the whole season, continuity could’ve made all the difference.

4.) 25 Apr 2022 14:51:34
As much as I love Nuno but he'd lost the dressing room so we'd prob be bottom half.

5.) 25 Apr 2022 19:23:36
I agree nuno would not have done any better. He was already very frustrated with previous windows so would not have been happy with what's happened since.
The opportunities to get top 6 or even 4 don't come around that often for a club like wolves, so yes it's been a massive missed opportunity. Letting Traore go, when we needed him most and taking up the option on Hwang 5 months before we needed to. Baffling

05 Aug 2021 18:29:40
I just don't understand all the venom aimed at fosun under there ownership we have spent 300 million. We have to sell to buy due to sanctions in place from uefa who stated we had to break even for 3 years this being the final year. So next year clear of sanctions you'd expect investment if not then I'd go along with the fosun have lost interest group. Finally sir jack who is lorded by the fan base for what he did can you remember what he allowed Dave Jones to spend on that first season in the prem 3 million so safe to say he got most of it back if not all.

Bigste64

1.) 06 Aug 2021 18:24:52
I think the issue is that Sir Jack was a local man and afan who ran the club as such, and Fosun is a Chinese business who run the club in a different way.

There is also this expectation that as Fosun are extremely rich, they can spend like kids in a sweet shop, when they have to work within FFP restrictions which limits what can be invested that isn't self generated by the club. It is always easier to spend someone else's money though.

Personally I think Fosun have done a great job and exceeded reasonable expectations. Unfortunately I also believe that even if they delivered a league title and a Champions League it still wouldn't be good enough for some.

2.) 06 Aug 2021 19:21:37
Alex agree with you totally.

01 Feb 2021 09:30:39
We are a team gripped by fear and playing with no confidence whatsoever. Since nuno took over we played with a swagger moved the ball quickly no one now takes responsibility no one looks to play an incisive pass it’s side to side and back. Also there appears to be 3 players who are undroppable patricio coady and moutinho all 3 were mainstays in the premier league but all 3 have failed to reach those levels this season.

Is it coincidence that of all the games we have played 4 at the back the best performance was against Southampton when coady missed out. Finally why when we are defending a corner do we bring everyone back why don’t we leave Neto and traore on the halfway line the opposition then have to leave at least 3 back 2 to mark and one to cover assuming ruddy plays he will come for the ball quick release and bang we are away.

The next two games are massive arsenal aren’t any great shakes and Leicester minus vardy are very ordinary as proved by Leeds. Four points and we can start to look upwards failure to win at least one and we are well and truly looking over our shoulders time to be brave nuno release the shackles.

Bigste64

1.) 01 Feb 2021 10:22:56
I disagree about Coady and Patricio, what have Traore Neves Dendonker done that says they should be pick every week, it is because they are not performing and that is why our defenders are struggling we need to sort out our midfield out that is where the problem is.

03 Jan 2021 18:47:41
Agree totally Stafford and rated the small squad idea has come home to roost with the key injuries but am shocked at the vitriol aimed at nuno.

When arsenal came sniffing he showed loyalty to ya surely right now he has earned the same from us right now I'm sure once a striker is bought in and the short term absentees return we will see a consistent selection and formation.100% nuno was right to change our style of play but I'd question the timing given how long last season went on for and the lack of a pre season.

We are victims of our own success 7th twice and Europe the investment needed to push us on was not allowed due to ffp this summer window will be interesting as I think I'm right the losses from the championship season will go so will have 3 years of prem income so we will see what fosuns ambitions really are.

Finally SQ you say we are in a relegation fight with Brighton for the final spot so kindly enlighten me as to who survives out of Fulham Sandwell n Sheffield Utd as I'm sure good odds are currently available keep the faith and a healthy and happy new year to you all.

Bigste64

1.) 03 Jan 2021 20:34:53
I don't mind people having a go at me if they believe me to be negative, which is completely different to being accused of three years of moaning-which is not true.

In answer to the questions, at the moment-unless results change-I see us battling with Brighton and maybe Palace and Newcastle-eventually.

2.) 04 Jan 2021 06:56:28
Happy new year bigste and SQ.
SQ I get you but what I don't get is when you say I said the beginning of the season we will be in a relegation fight (I'm sure you said that, if I'm wrong take no notice of what I'm saying) where we are not yet but you or no one could foresee the amount of injuries all coming at the same time.
Only thing I can think of is the risk of having a small squad but even so Jimenez injury was a freak incident.

3.) 04 Jan 2021 07:59:37
Bigste great post mate! I must admit it's taken me until now to calm down from yesterday!

Just a few small observations from yesterday. I thought Vitinha, Ait Nouri, Moutinho and Silva were poor everyone else was OK (outfield players) . Despite my gripes with him, Traore was MOM for me absolutely unplayable. If only he'd drive into the box more often!

I was very disappointed Hoever was dropped, would've liked to see him continue but Semedo did OK. Poor subs from Nuno but for me Moutinho cost us that match.

Anyway the reason for my post. I've seen a lot of negativity towards Silva online and I think the lad's doing OK. Would be interesting if Otasowie's chance had fallen to him what would have happened, it was easier than the Spurs chance.

I watched him really carefully yesterday and there were times he was making great runs but we are not playing him the ball early. There was an instance in the first half springs to mind where Ait Nouri should've crossed from deep. This has been a theme I've noticed when Silva is playing, a reluctance to be brave with an early killer pass.

Silva is working hard, he gets back and defends but he needs more help. No point giving it to him when he's being marked by 3 giants we need to find him early when he makes his runs. Maybe then we'll all be singing his praises.

Anyway just my observation would be interested to see how others feel.

4.) 04 Jan 2021 09:50:03
I agree fully with your post MattWolf, I like Moutinho however he is dictating all our set pieces.

13 Jul 2020 19:53:33
I'm probably in a minority of one here but assuming we kept most of our key players would it be a disaster if we missed out on Europe this season. Assuming Fosun invest and I'm not adverse to selling Traore for anything north of 70 million that would buy 3 quality additions the fact we would have no midweek European games we could have a real push for the top 4 and target a domestic cup.

Very interesting news that Raúl has signed a new 4 year deal given he could literally have gone to any club he desired in this window. The thing I would take out of it is that Fosun have clearly given Jiménez assurance about what they intend doing in the next couple of years I think maybe failing UEFA ffp rules has hampered us this window but on paper we have plenty of young talent for nuno to nurture. The progress over the last 3 years has been staggering and maybe this season will be a consolidating one and we push on next season. don't think there’s any doubting Fosuns commitment and ambition for our club remains as strong as ever onwards and upwards.

A good read as usual however the linesman is walking back to the halfway line and the referee signals for him to raise his flag.I’m sure you’d agree that if the 2 situations were reversed ie salahs goal was scored by Jimenez it would have been given as offside and the toti goal was scored by a liverpool player it would have stood.Var is there to protect the Judas 6 the fa don’t want clubs like wolves in cup finals or leicesters winning the league.
