Finally Wolves agree of 3mill for Dawson now get Gomes and a striker in would be a good window.

I was hoping we get someone else really. Dawson isn't an upgrade on what we have and doesn't have many years left on him.

We got some great former baggies in 1986. but I don't think we need this one in 2023.

The idea all along, GDawg, has been to bring in a centre half with experience and nouse. If you don't think that Dawson is an upgrade then you haven't been watching the same Collins that I have been witnessing all season.

Dawson is a stop gap. Great experience. Can step in when the others need to be taken out of the firing line. Got a couple of years in him and for what he's cost, could be a great signing. No brainer

GDawg14, for 3 million with is experience at back and situation we are in bargain,will be great in dressing room as well and great for someone to aim for at set pieces,corners.

Heard he wants to come back home to be near family before he packs up. He will be great short term experience and help Marshall the defence.

GDawg - you are not wrong but I suspect we are only looking at the next 6 months and as cover/leadership/role model etc etc for £3m hard to argue with?
