If costa goes in the summer I give up completely. the only sense in that is to recoup the 14m they wasted in the summer. having said that we're billionares.

Spending lots of money is not a solution or a road to successful. However, spending it wisely and on tried and tested proven quality is. Our owner is a multi billionaire and has aspirations for the club to be not just in the PL but win it.

This will only happen when we combine these two with the right personnel overseeing it all. We do need more quality and all over the field to get into and succeed in the PL. ⚽️👍😉.

Please give up wednesfield, your comments are boring . This club is on the up but no matter what is done here nothing is good enough for you. Wolves have never been a top of the league club in your lifetime so why do you expect it to be?

Yes it's not just money, but it helps. Newcastle, Villa, QPR and other spend more than we do and are playing in the Championship. Then look at Burnley and Hull, and for that matter Leicester, and see what can be achieved.

We have a solid manager who may or may not deliver. I think we agree it's the same feeling as when Mick took over, and when Kenny took over in L1. If we can get a couple of good years out of him then that's good.

Does everyone agree that changing manager in November was the best thing we did? Memories of hanging on to Solbakken too long and then choosing the wrong replacement. And just like we had Sako from Solbakken's days, we have Costa now.

On about past managers we should of got rid of McCarthy after we lost to Blackburn but managed to stay in Prem. Then clipboard was appointed and everything went downhill rapidly. Now I think we have a manager and an owner who will take us back to the Prem, hopefully next season.

Good call, Paul! The biggest mistake Morgan made was keeping McCarthy as manager when he was clearly incapable. Oh and before the Mick lovers start bleating on yet again about how he got us promoted, well yes he did (and thank you Mick) but he was nowhere good enough to manage a Prem side.

It's a brave owner that gets rid of a manager who is doing just about OK. Brum got rid of Rowett but that's unusual. Clubs like Man City and Real Madrid change their managers much more frequently, if they only finish second, say.

Yes, McCarthy stayed too long. And we had no plan B when we fired him, hence Clipboard when it should have been Bruce or Curbishley.

We're in good shape now. Just make sure we make good decisions.

Bigcheese68, I think in a better position than we are in now. I made several calls to hire him on here, Marco silva that is, at the beginning of the season. You only had to look at his track record to see he's got what it takes. Where the hell Zenga came from with 12 additions god only knows. Anyway, more to the point Silvas contract at Hull is only until the end of this season. Hmmm! 👍😉⚽️.

Why are we banging on about McCarthey I don't get it, it's the past nor the future.

We have to have faith in what Lambert is trying to achieve and on is head be it, if he thinks these players he as are good enough then I supose we have to trust him but if it goes pear shaped then he as to expect the worst.

Two key players we are going to have to mark and pressurise in the NU team on Saturday are Ritchie and Gale. If we don't mind our jobs on those two it's going to cost us! Here's hoping for a win. ⚽️👍😉.

Wonder what team will turn up this week, never now what to think about this wolves team, one foot forward and two foot back at the moment.
And one thing I do hope is that Lambert tells the truth on how we play instead of trying to make out it was okay first half and we lost it second half and the pitch didn't suit us as we could not get the ball down and play, so we hoofed it up front to Dicho hoping he would get a chance to score, which may I remind you when was the last time he scored, time to take him out firing line, I would go with Bodvarson and Mason if he is fit nothing to lose realy.
