A disgrace £40 for fa cup tickets for me and my daughter in our season tickets seats, just because its chelsea . club did half price tickets for shefield and are doing it again for birmingham whear is the saving for us season ticket holders? Where were these so called fans when we played crawley or cambrudge in the capital one cup at home attendance about 8000 or 9000 club taking the p! $$ out of loyal fans to make cash . I would love to go but on principle I will be staying at home

100% right CHRISHB, they know they'll sell out to the plastic armchair fans we've got, who don't go week in week out! I'm happy with what their doing with upcoming season tickets but they could of done more for the loyal fans especially with this tie bein televised.

Chris, Paul, the harsh reality is we don't mean anything to the club in this situation. Chris you aren't going, but they know someone else will buy your two tickets. Seats sold, money in the bank. Same as if any of us cancelled our ST. Someone else will come along and buy it, or they'll sell it match by match.
The seat is paid for by whoever, we aren't/ won't be missed

Some of those'so called plastic fans will no doubt be true and loyal supporters but because of circumstance'mine being working shifts which includes many weekends' can't justify the outlay on a season ticket, others will have financial constraints to deal with and varying family commitments'i followed the wolves up and down the country while they were in the old fourth'and the mol was a dumphole and you were sharing the stands with litter and rats, are you trying to say I should stay away if I choose to go to this game? even though I and no doubt many others go when we get the chance!
The club needs to grow'success will generate more interest, which in turn gets more people through the turnstiles, if you really want this club to rival clubs like the vile stop being so bloody shallow minded and high handed

{Ed003's Note - good post even if it did need editing a bit,let's not turn this into abuse chaps and chapettes.}

Good post Jimmy, and fair comments.
But I think the original point made, was that the club are charging the same price for a fan who makes games when they can, as people who pay for season tickets. Chris was asking, I believe, why can't the club show a bit of loyalty back, and maybe do a reduced price for ST holders

I am no longer a season ticket holder due to other commitments and I attend when I can. I would fully support the idea of ST holders having preferential pricing!

I'm sayin the club could show more gratitude to us who go week in week out and not just look upon us as a number! And jimmyjones u can take that how u like.

Personally I don't think it's badly priced with STHs getting two Day to confirm if they want it before general sale. Average £20 a ticket to see the probable premier champions this season Is good value.

Club should do discount for season ticket holders Evan though nor one myself they put their money in thick and thin but point also made well by jammy jones

Being an FA Cup game Chelsea would also have to agree to a reduction in ticket prices as they get half of the gate receipts.

i find it offensive refering to fans as armchair or plastic just because they can't get to games every week . we need those fans. I for one love it when the ground is full and rocking, there's nothing worse than a 1/2 empty ground . perhaps the club could go back to giving season ticket holders the first 2 cup games as part of the season ticket. just a thought.

You're right Pye, we do need these fans at the games! Week in week out and not just when we've had a bit of success. Good idea about reintroducing the two free cup games for sth.

I agree that STH should be rewarded however as some have stated different people can't attend week in week out due to individual commitments. Is there fanship less important. I, for example do not have a season ticket due to work commitments, however I will manage (by tweaking shift) to get to 18 games this season. I didn't purchase a season ticket as I initially was only available for 12 matches.

My question for Paul Tamworth is this:

If you paid £490 (top price) for your season ticket and I paid £30 for 18 matches equalling £540, who deserves a ticket for the FA cup match more? You, because you are available every weekend and evening and can benefit from a Season ticket or me who has pumped in at least £50 a season more than you on tickets?

I'm more entitled as I've bit the bullett and pumped my money in before the season starts and am takin a chance on our form, also I'm payin to go to away games. You can pick and choose whereas I've committed to the cause and paid up front.

Also Jas in your position I'd buy a season ticket as u make 18 games then surely you must know someone who would pay for use of your ticket when u couldn't make it which is only 5 home games.

You are right pye. There are many Wolves fans around the country and the world. Not all can easily get to the matchs. That doesn't mean they are not allowed to have a voice. The club actually want to reach out to people everywhere including China for example. 👍😉⚽️

For what it's worth, I've always done 4-6 matches a season, live within 20 miles of the molineux. I haven't been going more often due to working a shift pattern however I have bought a ST for the new season as I'm impressed with the clubs committemnt in getting fans back on side. I'll have to use more annual leave for next season but so be it, it's give and take.
