Are port in the Athletic claims Wolves are ina position ware as they don't have to sell players. Wolves are saying the deal for Nunes was to good to turn down and they will only sell if they get a bid for a player which they think is to good to turn down.Roll on the good times for Wolves get a striker in and who knows ware we could finish in the league.

£42.5 mill for Gibbs- White being reported.
That figure is making the Nunez deal look all the more a fantastic price for us.
I was really happy to give Gibbsy a chance after the loan spell last season but, seeing him against Leeds and particularly Fulham still mucking about with the fancy flicks that didn’t come off, loose passes and missing that sitter for me showed it wasn’t going to work with us.
He did some things too, direct running got us up the pitch a couple of times and was aggressive but, it wasn’t enough for me. £42.5 mill snap their hands off.

At 40% of the cost of Grealish which is the current top line benchmark it looks like an excellent deal!

He has hardly had time to pull on his shirt but hopefully he will set the Premier alight and we can all be friends with Fousun again!

Is it though Arddunby? I think everyone else knew what City are now finding out. They spent way too much on Grealish, he was grossly overpriced and has failed to deliver. Similarly for England imo.

Fair point Long but its still about two thirds the price of Fernandes, maybe that's a fairer comparison both ex Sporting players.
