They shouldn't try to rip us off charging full league price to watch a b team. I pay enough for my season ticket as it is.

I agree with Chrishb. They got the pricing all wrong on this one. I love the FA Cup but don’t believe most clubs do anymore which is sad. Reality is it is going to our reserves v their reserves on a Monday night on TV and yet they want full price? Five of us STH’s travel up to every home game but only two of us are going on Monday. Midweek matches mean leaving home at 2pm and getting home at 1am the next morning.

i think if you look at prices else where under 30 pound for an adult is a bargain we don't have a b team we have a squad which is always improving it will be sad to be on the the ground with the same faces from 2 seasons ago hope we can beat liverpool and push on its all we have to play for in reality so I fore see a strong team sheet onwards and upwards COYW.

To be honest, if we were to make a move for Abraham, we should do it in the summer. We need someone who is proven at PL level. An obvious choice would be Origi or Llorente on loan too the end of the season, this gives us the striker we need now and allows Nuno to assess other potential players.

You are all aware I take it that Liverpool set the prices even tho it's our home game.

I counted this morning and there’s 6,000. I expect more people will get it at the door. I think they’ll lower the prices if it’s not around a sell out. Obviously it being on Monday, after Christmas, on BBC, doesn't help.

Nuno. ES, why would Liverpool set the prices for the home team? They can only dictate the prices for their own allocation.

The Liverpool match is on free TV, BBC1 on a Monday night when everyone is back at work/ school. Plus they are charging PL ticket prices. Guaranteed a low attendance! They have this one wrong.

How much disruption to our fixtures do we have to suffer before fans get fed up? Saturday 3pm home kick offs few and far between, no home games over Xmas, New Year’s Day game moved to Wednesday night, drawn at home in FA cup and moved to Monday night. Clubs are compensated for televised games but apparently not the fans, half price for season ticket holders would have been a welcome gesture.

Jas it's a done thing in the fa cup apparently, home and away tickets shouldn't be different and the 27 was what Liverpool wanted their fans to pay, the wording of the rule is
Immediately after the draw is known, the Club playing at home shall decide on the prices of admission, subject to a minimum price of £10.00 for all spectators other than concessions. The away Club’s spectators can only be charged more than the home Club’s spectators if mutually agreed by both Clubs.

That suggests that Liverpool don't set the prices then.

No, it suggests that liverpool didn't agree with a cheaper price and Wolves increased it to comply with the rules - it's quite easy to understand.
