Zinchenko is a class player. Johhny is only here on loan and Athletico may not want to let him go. Yes Zinchenko turned us down as he was a none believer but is now seeing with his own eyes that we mean business. Sign him up, stick him on the bench and let him earn his way in.

I was talking to someone who is in the know at Man City on instagram he works for goal, he said that *may* of actually been Man City who pulled the plug on zinchenko but they told him to come out say no as we said we wouldn’t sell neves.

Also I personally thinK we’ll target a LWB, CM, and ST someone who is an upgrade on bonatini and can give real competition to Jimenez and hopefully try sign Jonny in jan as he can cover RWB too.

Nuno has a winning team and if he really wants to make changes we have Cav Adama Leo to come in but nobody is guaranteed to stay not even Neves or Doc or Coady because Nuno will always be on the lookout for better players just ask Saiss or Ruddy.

When Athletico signed Jonny they did it on a six year contract, so I suspect they are in that for the long term. Especially when you consider that they have Jaunfran playing RB and Luis Felipe playing LB, both class but both also 31/ 32! They know what they're doing, let Jonny improve on our time then take him back with the experience. Works for all parties, I mean he's already got his national debut now so I think they have a plan for him especially with him being a Spanish player.

Also Matt no offence fella but that is clearly nonsense with Zinchenko, mostly because like Stu says football doesn't work like that, either the moneys right or it ain't! Not to mention that I'm not convinced Neves was a priority for them then else we would have known about it, they tend to buy the finished article rather than take punts on players that hadn't (back then) played in the Prem.

Add to that Zinchenko didn't just reject us straight off the bid was on the table for about a month. Think more likely Jet Ski was right and the lad thought he'd be going to a bottom of the league dog fight. As for now well let's move on, he had his chance and he missed it HIS mistake! COYW ;)

JetSki what have you seen of zinchenko to know he's a quality player! Why would we sign a player that rejected us pre season, we need players that want to play for the shirt.
