Just seen on Twitter that Vinagre and omg Bonatini are to be made permanent!

Fantastic news 2or3 quality players in now and I think we will do well maybe a big midfielder is going to sign fingers crossed.

30 Jun 2018 18:34:48
Bonatini signed is a farce he’s not even championship standard let alone Premier League a bit of a comedown to say the least. I have a nasty feeling we won’t sign any more strikers. 💊.

30 Jun 2018 18:35:49
This is great news even though Leo went cold after Christmas, he deserves a crack at the premier, his goals got us there and Vinagre has loads of potential.

30 Jun 2018 18:43:57
I really didn't see that one coming in respect of Bonatini! Not sure what to make of it unless we are going to re-sell like Afobe, but as we have given him a four year contract, that doesn't seem likely.

5.) 30 Jun 2018
30 Jun 2018 18:51:18
Leo deserves a second chance imo he was on fire before xmas maybe the break will ignight that fire.

6.) 30 Jun 2018
30 Jun 2018 18:55:00
Both good signings. Bonatini epitomises the wolves style. Vinagre great youngster with bags of potential.
I would say 4-5 in now real quality or something different to give us a plan b or c.

7.) 30 Jun 2018
30 Jun 2018 19:05:00
Dougan74 not sure why you are so negative about Bonatini - I bet November last year you wanted him signed permanently, the lad deserves the opportunity.

8.) 30 Jun 2018
30 Jun 2018 19:05:59
Listen fellas let's not forget Leo's contribution to our promotion.
His goals in the first half of the season really got us off and running to our eventual promotion.
I think with a full pre season from our coaching team Leo will be a lot sharper and I think the prem will suit him better.
He's deserved his contract and he obviously loves the club.
Good on ya Leo, Once a Wolf, always a Wolf.

9.) 30 Jun 2018
30 Jun 2018 19:20:29
The guy has no pace and his first touch isn’t great no amount of pre season will change this. Won’t be many Premier League defenders having sleepless nights. Don’t understand why we didn’t go for Mitrovic as he offers a plan b and keep Afobe as cover.

10.) 30 Jun 2018
30 Jun 2018 19:21:05
he never had a pre-season with us and first in county. the boy will fly . trust me.

11.) 30 Jun 2018
30 Jun 2018 19:25:28
Let’s see, guessing no one in LWB or Striker is coming in now.

12.) 30 Jun 2018
30 Jun 2018 19:31:44
I agree Dappa! He came straight from Middle East at the end of their season then into the Championship with no rest period. No wonder he looked tired towards the end of the season! I truly believe he will be the goal poacher type that we need in and around the 6 yard box once he's had a good rest.

13.) 30 Jun 2018
30 Jun 2018 19:46:19
Dougan Dougan Dougan. Bonitini isn’t a traditional “goal scorer” BUT what he does do is give attacking freedom and a link up from Neves Jota Costa Cav, players like these need somebody to hold the ball up and wait for them to get into the dangerous positions. And let’s be honest, the early part of last season Bonitini was getting on the end of a lot of crosses and converting them.

14.) 30 Jun 2018
30 Jun 2018 19:54:49
Shocked with the Bonatini signing. Way too slow for Premiership. What the hell is Nuno thinking?

15.) 30 Jun 2018
30 Jun 2018 19:57:33
Tell ya what Dougan74, don't turn up and watch him if ya hate him that much. as long as they wear a Wolves shirt you support every player mate.

16.) 30 Jun 2018
30 Jun 2018 19:59:56
Stucorbett is on the wave length.
Bonatini did a job against middlesborough, Cardiff and blues at home near the end of the season.
Leo is a wolf. Leo! Leo! Leo! 🐺🐺🐺.

17.) 30 Jun 2018
30 Jun 2018 20:04:24
We might do the same with bonatini as we did with Afobe buy him and send him out on loan I am disappointed that we’ve bought him but maybe something in it.

18.) 30 Jun 2018
30 Jun 2018 20:08:57
I will support every player that wears the shirt and I don’t hate the guy he’s just not good enough it’s just my opinion as I was expecting a proven goalscorer. StuuCorbett surely then Mitrovic would have been a better option as he can hold the ball up and score as well.

19.) 30 Jun 2018
30 Jun 2018 20:10:47
I'm more shocked that Vinagre has signed permanently. Not played for us since January and Monaco were reluctant to let him leave as they saw him as one for the future.

20.) 30 Jun 2018
30 Jun 2018 20:31:41
It’s a squad game, you can’t have a squad full of world beaters. Bonatini I’m sure won’t be first choice. He will be used as a sub or as a cup player. I however would trust Nuno’s judgement much more than I do Dougan74’s.

21.) 30 Jun 2018
30 Jun 2018 20:37:27
William Carvalho please. Totally complement Neves.

22.) 30 Jun 2018
30 Jun 2018 20:41:20
I will take the pair of them Leo was unfortunate after Xmas if I'm right I'm sure he was 5 mill for him but I don't no what vinagre was, both squad players pleased about Leo he is used to nunos way, we still need another forward in though.

23.) 30 Jun 2018
30 Jun 2018 20:43:50
Mixed feelings about the Leo signing, but I guess that is because I was awaiting the 'marque' signing we have been expecting for a few months.
However, I guess if someone had put forward a 24 year old Brazilian striker that scored 12 goals (and upteen assists) in 42 appearances last season, we would have seen that as a decent return on 'stats'.
What we do know, is that he complements our game plan very well - you don't get that from 'stats'.

Like all signings, we have to wait and see and ope they fulfil our requirements.
Money and 'name' mean nothing if you do not perform - ask Mr Silva at Milan!

UTW.

24.) 30 Jun 2018
30 Jun 2018 20:49:19
I’m also a little shocked with the signing of Bonatini, but if Nuno sees something in him then that’s good enough for me. Now give him your support don’t knock the lad, he’s in the pack, and a wolf pack protects their own. 🐺.

25.) 30 Jun 2018
30 Jun 2018 21:16:48
Zulecho are you a wolves fan you told me bonatini had gone.

26.) 30 Jun 2018
30 Jun 2018 21:25:12
Bonatini signed? Only a bench warmer. New CF will be arriving - likely Silva now Portugal out of WC.

27.) 30 Jun 2018
30 Jun 2018 21:37:06
I really don’t get the Bonatini signing - unless we are going to do an Afobe and sell him on next week for a profit. To me he is nowhere near the standard we will require next season. In Nuno we trust however. Hopefully though we will now sign a first choice quality striker.

IMO we need a centre back, cover for Doc at RWB, a CDM (William Carvalho would be my choice) a top striker and a wide attacker.

Vinagre is a great signing mind.

OODCL.

30 Jun 2018 22:00:40
Ok so people, however you want to put it, are hating on the bonatini signing, well shame on you all, that lad got our season going yes he had a poor second half but end the end of the day it was his first season in the league without a proper pre season, same old sh** different day from some of you lot, give the lad a chance before he even kicks a ball in the prem, yes there may be better but he wants to be at the club and wants to do his best for us. UTW AND IN NUNO I F****** TRUST!

29.) 30 Jun 2018
30 Jun 2018 22:16:12
Timtoo, he had gone. but obviously wolves had something in the pipeline. TBH, No one saw this coming did they.?

30.) 30 Jun 2018
30 Jun 2018 22:17:53
We'll said Dearniwolf.

31.) 30 Jun 2018
30 Jun 2018 23:38:36
Where have all the #ITK gone? Not one of their sources mentioned Leo.

32.) 30 Jun 2018
30 Jun 2018 23:39:55
Bonatini is a great signing, £5million, a full pre-season, amazing work rate and the ability to score. Andre Silva on the other hand has been so ineffective at the world cup and the money they are asking would be a horrendous purchase. Hopefully one more striker to come as I think we need 3. Personally I would love it to be Vincent Aboubakar although it probably won't be. Wolves ay we.

33.) 01 Jul 2018
30 Jun 2018 23:51:58
Danny Ings and Jack Wilshere will do.

34.) 01 Jul 2018
01 Jul 2018 00:45:43
Personally think vinagre might go out on loan or we could end up with LWBs like we could end up with 3 RWBs doc Phil and someone else might not be the worse thing like to have 3 strikers as well and also have the chance of using jota, Cav, costa as 3 false 9.

35.) 01 Jul 2018
01 Jul 2018 04:50:47
Who says bonatini is not good enough need to pull their necks in. Without his goals wolves would be having another season in the championship while watching neves strut his stuff at man u. So shut up you clueless morons.

36.) 02 Jul 2018

People seem to think signing 20 goal strikers is easy. It isn't. We are the new boys on the block again and how many clubs AREN'T chasing a 20 goal striker? IF such players are available, they have to be sold on a project to come to us and that sort of player is usually looking for an established top league club and a big pay cheque. There are limits to how much money can be spent after all! People also seem to forget that Bonatini was playing with a shoulder issue last season, which would not have helped his performances. Signing him at a relatively cheap price makes a lot of sense, especially with him being familiar with the club, the system and the players around him. A full preseason will also help.

At least he is better than nothing whilst the club continues to search for and sign another striker. At best Bonatini will be a back up to Raul Jimenez anyway.

Besides, I think the coaching staff and scouting staff have a much better idea about players than all of us combined.

Leo did well for us and I am pleased he is joining his skill is his position play which means he poaches goals as well as gets on the end of crosses

If Jiminez is any good he will keep Leo out of the team and we have Mir plus Neves, Costa, Cav that's a great selection well if Mir is any good it is.
