How is it that Cav is on the transfer radar anyway? No bids we know of for anyone else in the first team. I wonder if someone somewhere is trying to coax a much bigger sum (ie £20m+) from a top 6 club?

Silva hasn't really done anything at the WC so it is more and more likely that he will be available for Wolves.
He is playing himself out of a possible contract offer from the other (Champions League) teams he is interested in.
