You know what thought I'd have calmed down now, we're witnessing the best football in my 55 yrs, top of the league by 13 pts, 30,000 gates, best manager since the 50's, on the brink of the Premiership.
So cause people can't find nothing else to find a fault with, I know let's make Afobe a scapegoat who's had two 20 min. appearances.
At the end of the day Afobe knows the score he must start finding the net or he won't be signed.
So for people who hope he fails I really hope Afobe rams it down your throats, and I'll come on here and remind you doubters. 😟😟😟😟😟.

Totally agree with above post, get behind them all for last 15 games.

think most folk are realistic when a striker on a reported 80 thousand a week comes on the pitch people expect them to better or at least as good as what we already have he really needs to knuckle down while the other subs started warming up afobe carried on signing autographs in his hat gloves snood and track suit bottoms if he wants to impress nuno and many doubters he needs to get fit and put the ball in the net I am as always fully behind the squad but don't want to see it weakened!

Afobe needs game time. It's not like flicking a light switch. Everything is a lot faster on the pitch than it appears to the spectator. He has shown that he has the ability but it will take some game time to get him back there.

Yesterday was the weakness of Nuno philosophy shown in front of a packed Molineux.

First half they started first 10 minutes slow. Then they scored a goal from a cracking ball into the box. Then we played great football and scored another.

The issue was from the start though the two wing backs were pressed by the qpr extra man in midfield or perch for qpr at rwb or Robinson at LWB. Perch was run ragged by Jota and Caveleiro. Which meant he was replaced before half time.

After the break Holloway played a similar formation to wolves. Pressing the wing backs, N’diaye And boly who had caused chaos in the 1st half. This allowed them to win the ball in the wolves half and have more possession in dangerous areas. I think we did the right thing bringing Afobe and Gibbs white on when we did. But maybe we should have changed our formation after the goal was conceded. To 4-5-1 not for the rest of the game but to restore stability and structure in our play. The expansive game is fun until your on the wrong side of the result. UTW.

But we won so it doesn't matter now. Nuno sends his team out to play the same way every week. It's the opposition that adapts to us not the other way round.

Fair enough Jaz we got the three points which is all that matters. However we did make 3 goal line clearances it could have easily been a draw or worse. I wasn’t moaning at Nuno philosophy either it is exciting to watch but in the big games coming up it may be worth a thought of how we regain control of possession. As with possession and in shape we are unstoppable. 1 touch passes and goals are the product of this. As highlighted with goals v Sheffield Utd, Leeds, Brentford etc. It was a comment of thought of how we can regain control and possible score more by having the ball. Rather than playing expansive do or die football that nearly cost us points. And as I stated in the previous post we conceded in 51st minute if we had regained control for 10 minutes the game could have been ours in a more reassuring manner. UTW.

That is a very valid point anew and one which had dawned on me, simply put we won't be given the kind of room that our expansive game has enjoyed next year! A high press is all the rage these days and when you watch Huddersfield this wkend pressing Bournemouth into submission it doesn't take a genius to see that we are going to need a plan B. In fact when you look at it historically most teams that have played quality expansive footy in the Champ have often come undone when taking that to the Prem and no one here wants that to be us! I'm not sure what the answer is if honest although I trust Nuno to work it out. Maybe some kind of 4-5-1 for away/ big matches which allows us to flood the midfield?! Time will tell COYW :)

Think peeps do need to calm down a little, at what point did having an opinion on a player constitute wanting them to fail or not backing the team for that matter?! Like many on here I back my team most weeks when I make a long round trip and spend good money to watch them play, will always support any player that's wearing the colours provided they are giving there all for the team!
Yes its great to be winning hell its a great time to be a Wolves fan! But if just cause we are winning people can't have opinions on players then this forum will get awful quiet for the next few months! For what its worth I thought Ruddy had a poor game at the weekend as well, doesn't mean I want him to fail simply means the guy himself has set higher standards that's all! Relax people, we don't all have to agree that's what makes this fun! COYW ;)
