He's worth between 5 - 7 million so I wouldn't believe that.

That sounds to me like a Lambert target.

From what I've heard, if he is a Lambert target he could be off to Sunderland.

No way are we making bids for the likes of Adam Flint. Nothing will happen until Santo is in place as head coach.

Any guesses than Santo is not coming because he will want to spend too much, are nonsense plain and simple, as they ignore the reality. Nobody can spend tens of millions at this stage for Wolves, it would break the financial rules. Expenditure is not the issue we are facing.

Sant will be appointed.

@Wolves are keen to sign portuguese CB Fábio Cardoso, from V. Setúbal. They face competition from @RangersFC.

The fair play rules give us a limit of over spend, compared to our revenue, over 3 years of about £40 million. So without bringing in money from sales in the next 2 seasons, we won't be spending mega money as some people think we can. The fact that we have billionaire owners in the championship doesn't make that much difference.

Especially when we sign a bunch of players who can't cut it in this league. Lambert could see that and was looking to bring the right type of players in. look at Newcastle and Brighton's signing last year, experienced, quality, championship players. All we can hope is that the new manager realises this and gets his say on who comes in.

Unless we get a new sponsor.
Stadium naming rights.
And. we could spend now as long as the books are balanced 2018/ 19 season.

According to an article today on Sky Sports, promotion to the PL sees an uplift in revenue of at least £170m, rising to. £290m if you stay up after the first season.

That's the big gamble. Do Fosun and Wolves go for it - Spend another £30m-£40m to get promoted. The increased revenue will ensure we don't break FFP rules. Flip side is if we don't get promoted in the next two season we will need to balance the books by selling our best players. That's if again we want to stay within the rules.

Other teams like Bournemouth have carried on regardless and taken the fine for FFP. Do Fosun just say sod the rules and go for it anyway. Bournemouth got fined £7.6m for breaking the rules. I'd pay that if Wolves we're esatablished in the Premier League!
