Nuno would walk into a mid table premier league job.

Great coup if true and would vindicate fosun model as well as killing the Lambert debate.

It's superdeporte. es. However I think my Spanish friend has got a bit too excited as it translates to Nuno close to commiting to Wolves. Stand by your beds chaps 🙄.

Wish I could get worked up about this! His connection with Mendes was his undoing in his second season at Valencia if you read the articles about it. Over expensive Mendes players that didn't perform and otomendi off to Man City. Doesn't boss well for the future if this happens all over again. Football agents should NOT be allowed to determine transfers. In this case his involvement is a clear conflict of interest. Hmmm! 👎😂.

WOLVESCOAST get used to the modern way of runnin a footy team, this guys credentials are far better than our level so definitely a step up. If he fails move him on and start again! Why you worrying about it? It's not your money! Enjoy the ride! And please don't tell me keepin Lambert would be better? 😂😂😂.

East Park yes a rehash of what is in many papers here. Basically discussions on going but the reporter Carlos Boshe is a well respected sports reporter here in Spain.

Steady on chaps, don't believe everything you read in the newspapers, even local Spanish ones. The psychologists have a term for it, it's called "confirmation bias". Meaning, if you really want something to happen and believe it will, you will ignore all evidence to the contrary, and attach added biased importance to any evidence that backs you up.

PT please inform us of other clubs that have football agents determining who their clubs hire or fire the players!? I can't think of any managers that would put up with that crap, can you? Unless you mean our club! ⚽️👍😉.

Who knows what goes on behind closed doors at other clubs? Football agents have been screwing owners over for years! We have got a conglomerate worth over 40billion owning us, remember it's Fosun who own part of Mendes agency not the other way round, so when they pay the agent their basically payin money into their own pot. U want to start thanking Mendes instead of slaggin him so much as he helped get the Fosun deal over the line! They've only been here 12 months give them a break and enjoy the ride 👍. With these owners it won't be borin, if the manager/ coach fails their gone! They certainly won't let the club stagnate like the previous owner! Roll on August! 👍.

One problem with what you are saying here PT. The money is spent by the Club not Fosun and the debt accrued lies with the Club. If Fosun decide to walk away WW could go bust. Let's hope their commitment is total.

If Chelsea, man city etc owners walk away their screwed! But with owners like theirs and ours there is no debt! If sky and bt walk away loads of teams are screwed! Enjoy these billionaire owners and tv deals while they are here. 👍 Hey we could be dead tomorrow.

{Ed001's Note - Chelsea and Man City's owners (ownership groups in the case of Citeh) have been pumping money in simply to put the clubs into a position where they would be self-sufficient in the event of them leaving. Now TV revenue is a different matter, that would be a problem if that went down, but live streaming rights are likely to overtake that income stream soon enough anyway.}

27 May 2017 08:42:28
Thanks for that ed I think u get my jist. Let's hope Fosun do the same for us as Citeh are doin. 👍 We're certainly in a better position to achieve that than under Morgan's guidance.

{Ed001's Note - I know mate, just being pedantic. I can't help it at times.}

27 May 2017 09:29:59
Good job your only pedantic at times Ed or with majority of the posts on here you'd never be off the board 😂.

{Ed001's Note - that's a good point. I do often have to grit my teeth and ignore what is said!}

wollabby you're wobbling. Get real man. Fosun have tens of millions invested in Wolves. There's far more available when they can invest without breaking financial rules in football. There's no way that Fosun would walk away from a massive investment. Anyway, the Chinese are not like that in business. The loss of face would be dishonourable for them. Paul Lambert was my choice for Wolves. He had five months and a transfer window. But, he couldn't finish any higher than Kenny Jackett at his worst. It right that we move on as Fosun have big plans for Wolves.

20.) 27 May 2017
27 May 2017 10:48:19
Let's not forget the whole point of Steve Morgan selling the club for £10 was on the basis they had to invest £30m within 2 years so by rights they cannot claim that 30m back.

Wolvescoast, you say it went wrong in his second season at Valencia when mendes started tonget involved.

In his first season at Valencia when they finished 4th mendes provided him with 7 players and on 3 in his second season.

At Porto mendes has provided him with 6 players this season. They have work together at every club he has been at and nuno gets he beat out the players he has been provided.

He could get a mid table prem team, but the mendes factor for him is what making him drop to the championship and see the bigger picture where the club wants to go under Fosun.

I think fosun will make an announcement on Thursday lambert out Nuno santo in that's a great result he and mendes will bring in quality players it doesn't matter if there used to the championship or not if there top players they should b able to play anywhere.

Aim high score high. Wolves can build a team to not only win promotion but be good enough to stay in the Premier League. That's the no 1 aim this summer. Do you trust Lambert to do it or Mendes/ Santo?

Lambert buys Hugill, Weimann, Hanley

Mendes buys Neves, Bruma etc.
