nice! Guess work I imagine. I don't think any announcement will be until the start of next month due to Lambert contract running out.

4.) 22 May 2017
22 May 2017 13:48:53
If Lamberts on a 12 month rollin contract it doesn't run out next month?

5.) 22 May 2017
22 May 2017 14:03:19
'you heard it here first'. Yes, I know. Somebody else said it 2 weeks ago.

6.) 22 May 2017
22 May 2017 14:05:52
With a month rolling contract lambert still had to be paid if for the year it runs out 1st July then starts again but like say still has to be paid off for the whole year, I just hope there not waiting till it runs as we go 26th June and we'll lose more days on other clubs.

7.) 22 May 2017
22 May 2017 14:17:07
I'm thinkin it will be sorted this week as all the leagues have finished. Remember Norwich will be wantin to fill their vacancy soon so Lambert will have to show his hand or miss out?

8.) 22 May 2017
22 May 2017 14:44:50
Lambert will get paid however long his contract has to run, rolling contracts meen at least a 12 month pay out. All will become clear this week imo. hold tight.

While we’re making up rumours for the new Wolves manager (if there will be one) I’ll throw in the Portuguese man named Jose Bloggso.

10.) 22 May 2017
22 May 2017 15:23:45
Tbh Paul I'm still 50/ 50 on lambert but I think pre-season tour Austria ( he's been there before) while werder Bremen is little thing telling me he might be staying tbh the most worrying thing is the transfers.

11.) 22 May 2017
22 May 2017 15:43:30
i believe he has gone Matt, to many ITK posters on different sites have said so and some of these guys have been spot on before. I'd say he had input in our tour as it would of been organised before everything blew up, but if I had to put my last grand on it I'd say he's gone.

12.) 22 May 2017
22 May 2017 16:02:59
Yh mate probably right tbh but I'm still a little worried about mendes having full control still think we need a few proven championship players.

13.) 22 May 2017
22 May 2017 16:19:16
Yes mate the right mix, but we def need a coach/ manager who understands the way Mendes works, so def got to be European.

14.) 22 May 2017
22 May 2017 16:25:51
Yh mate agree there that's why I (personally) think karanka is perfect knows the league, knows how to do well in it and lnows foreign players and he's decent championship manager.

22 May 2017 16:27:24
Aitor Karanka to be unveiled as Head Coach by the end of this week. He has been told to adopt the tactics he used successfully at Boro. He has been told to work with the current squad and be given £10m funds. Any other players must be bought by selling others. Helda Costa and Caveleiro both to be sold for a combined £30m as Karanka prefers playing without out and out wingers and will use the money to purchase 2 strikers and 2 defenders. Midfield not too high on his priority as he has Oniangue, Saiss, Edwards, Coady, Price and Saville who fit into his style of play.

16.) 22 May 2017
22 May 2017 16:30:22
Karanka is no better than Lambert, in another few months fans will be saying he is rubbish and calling for his head, a lot of fans seem to have imbroiled in fosuns sack the manager regime every few months. Karanka plays a negative style of football and is a control freak.
If no big name manager is to come in leave Lambert where he is and let him have a full pre season with his own style of squad.

22 May 2017 16:33:15
I still feel this is a bigger Review than is the manager any good or not. well, that's what I hope.
Commercial side of the Club seems to managed OK. it is just the footballing side.
Hope to hear we are re-structuring the whole lot, with a top class Director of Football appointed, a clear and ambitious strategy set, which is shared with us fans. THEN. let's fit a manager to that strategy at 1st team level.

How sure r u Jas? On a 1-10 scale?

19.) 22 May 2017
22 May 2017 17:18:18
The question is not who the manager will be, it is who will work under the strict remit given by the board. Karanka has indicated that he wants the job and is willing to work under these conditions. He can bring in a number of players from Mendes stable but will have to move on players to generate the funds. The likes if Gibson and Friend etc are a no go as they're likely to go to clubs in the Premier League. He will buy unheard of players from abroad via Mendes as well as players from other Championship clubs. He will also go for an experienced Premier league star in the twilight of his career, someone like Carrick but not John Terry who is to sign for Bournemouth.

22 May 2017 17:18:50
Jas, your logic would have been spot on last year. Zenga's first game was mostly Jackett's players, and our midfield is still Jackett plus a couple of players bought after he was fired.

Saiss seems to be the core of midfield now with Edwards in front of him. If Costa and Cav go, then would we play two of Coady, Saville, Price, Evans and Onion? Or Tex? Or Graham and Marshall?

Me too.

22 May 2017 17:25:09
Sunderland job available does that alter things Jas?

22.) 22 May 2017
22 May 2017 17:36:30
Nigel Pearson is 9/ 4 favourite with Karanka 5/ 1 for Sunderland job.

23.) 22 May 2017
22 May 2017 17:56:07
like paul Tamworth I've said all along that lambert will b leaving silva won't b coming that leaves karanka as for transfers I think mendes has most of them sorted I don't think an announcement will b made till after bank holiday.

24.) 22 May 2017
22 May 2017 17:56:56
A lot of movement on Karanka taking the Sunderland job. He's now 9/ 2 2nd favourite. He's due in London tonight to meet Ellis Short.

25.) 22 May 2017
22 May 2017 18:01:46
Moyes resigning has been a game changer for us. Karanka could go to Sunderland but might not if Mendes has anything to do with it. It's muddied the waters anyway.

26.) 22 May 2017
22 May 2017 18:36:49
I told you last week that hi ho Silva lining is to be interviewed on Tuesday and he is due to meet the hull board to discuss his future on Wednesday.

27.) 22 May 2017
22 May 2017 18:53:29
Bhamwolf, Silva is looking for top tier football. He'll either take over Watford or go to Italy. No way he's coming to us.

28.) 22 May 2017
22 May 2017 19:05:19
Never mind, we still have Dougie Freedman, who is STILL linked to us, for some annoying reason.

29.) 22 May 2017
22 May 2017 19:15:54
Karanka had a really good defensive record at Boro. But the goals scored was terrible. As bad as us last year.
He's not an ideal candidate for the job.
