Whens that window open. so the rubbish can go . and the real players come in. let's just hope confused Lambert can find his best team by the 1st game of next season. i thought getting on the top half of the league was our aim. obviously not. let's just give up and us fans can keep paying to watch the next experiment.

I was reading an article on Peter knowles a couple of weeks ago and my memory took me back to the beginning of the 1969 season we had the doog Hugh curran jimmy mccalliog who we had signed in the summer and of course Peter knowles we won our first 4 games and then the fifth game was against Man Utd which we drew 0-0 in front of 50,000 at the mol the next game was against Notts forest that was knowles last game we were 3-0 up but let it slip and drew 3-3 he then joined Jehovah's Witness we fell away after that I can't remember where we finished in the league if knowles had stayed he would hav been selected for the 1970 World Cup squad does any of the older wol supporters remember that.

I saw him in 1963 against Man. U.
A precocious talent. We won, but the highlight was him tormenting the
great Man. U, even finding the time to sit on the ball when in possession on one occasion!
Had the potential to be as big as Best, shame.

Harlowwolf I remember, he was my all time wolves heroe what a player, can remember when we played Coventry when Jimmy Hill took Coventry up to Division 1 then for first time, and it was at there place and Knowles sat on the ball waiting for the attack to catch him up, what a player sadly missed and I also think he would of played for England always money well spent just to see him play, what would he be worth today.
