Calm down mate, were not going to be going down. We will stay in mid table where we belong at the mo and hope that next season we can turn things around.

Well said Wolves011. We ain't going down, we ain't going up. Lambert needs to overhaul the squad in the summer and bring in players who HE, not us, thinks can improve us.

Only 6 points off relegation. 15 games to go. No striker has scored since August. I wish I was as confident as you.

I'm. Confident we will stop up to
Stop being doom merchants.

Having your two main strikers only scoring two goals all season, has got to be some kind of shite record.

Wolves record home FA Cup defeat v. Derby 3-6 in 1933. Record FA Cup defeat v. Rotherham 0-6 in 1985. Record defeat v. Newton Heath (Man. Utd. ) 1-10 in 1892. Will they create a new record v. Chelsea on Saturday?

We are by no means a great team at the moment, but we are better than quite a few teams in this league and we should finish just below mid table. We have enough experience in this league for that.

Look at the core of the team - Stearman, Batth, Price, Saville, Evans, Coady, Edwards. 18th is exactly the correct position for a club with those players in it, isn't it? The saying 'you reap what you sow' definitely comes to mind when you think about the crazy decision to sign all of those up to long term contracts.

We go from one extreme, to another.

Absolutely agree wavidsmith! All players mentioned are Div 1 standard
so why are we surprised we are 18th?
To retain these players is poor decision-making, no one wants them, so if we are down next year, fine, sign them for the season, it will be their right level.
We spend £20+ million on 2 wingers, exciting! and then retain these donkeys. what is going on?!

Well at last, we Wolves fans all agree on one thing, and that is, why have we given these players long term contracts, when they are not good enough, although they play to the best of there ability, I'm afraid they are average middle to bottom championship players or Division 1 end of.
I would like to now who is responsible for giving these players long term contracts, and who sighned that Paul Gladon, whoever is responsible I would have them sacked, disgraceful performance last night no entertainment whatsoever, except the kid conor Ronan he was very good.
LAMBERT NO MORE EXCUSES, YOU THINK THESE PLAYERS ARE GREAT, YOU SAID YOU DIDN'T NEED STRIKER, SO ON YOUR HEAD BE IT.

All the posts above are very valid,
But I do think Lambert is the right man for the job. I just think the job is a lot bigger than he thought,
We all want wolves players to do well, but to be honest everyone of them could be replaced at the moment it's just not happening.

I honestly think PL's job is on the line and, sadistically, I want it to be as Gary Rowett is somehow still available. Let's all hope he doesn't take the Forest job in the meantime because we need someone like that so desperately.

I like to see our kids come through and also think we have some good kids.
But what worried me was playing so many in a 6 pointer, when a more experienced side would of been bette, Evans and Edwards in midfield done nothing, said all along if you play Edwards because of is goalscoring exploits, then play him upfield or just behind striker, nobody else scoring up there, but
if these pair are our future midfield, then we can forget about promotion, they are just average championship players and realy thought we would be looking for a better class of players next season for the midfield positions, hope I am proved wrong but dissopointing in there long term contracts.
Defence same again makeing same mistakes, Marshall didn't look fit, and not a shot at goal against another poor side.
