Still being told by media pal, Ross McCormack could join us on loan or 5 mil, Big no in my opinion, but in PL we trust.

If he does end up coming I think paul lambert will get best out of hom like he has for the other players this year

We just need another 15/16 players of Costa quality in all our other positions and then we should be getting somewhere near the mark. It's going to be a long journey chaps and certainly won't happen overnight unless we spend big and get very lucky along the way. This is where it all starts.! 😉👍⚽️

McCormack likely to join Brentford on loan after hogan deal.

Don't get me wrong it's great news we've signed our best player. However, if we want to get amongst it we still need the same quality in many other positions around the pitch. At the sharp end in particular! A tried and tested quality goal scorer is at least what we need.

I see the Villians are signing Scot Hogan. We need tried and tested quality of that level. As each season goes by these players transfer fees just escalate. So the longer we keep scrapping about below the middle of the feeding barrel the more it's going to cost in the long term isn't it?

PL is doing a good job so far and it's great we've signed our best player. Not really moaning so much as just saying it as it is? 👍😉⚽️

Wolves have been told to cough up £6m to land Hanley. I hope BJeff just does it now ffp has gone out of the window.

Hanley in, Batth to Sheff Wed. Marshall in, Iorfa to West Ham. Then Gladon to Sparta Rotterdam. Might be timed out by deadline though. Batth not happy.

TristanBarnes-Farquar Gladon isn't going anywhere as he's already played for 2 teams this season, and can't play for a third.

Financial fair play is not out of the window. It is taken over a 3 year period. We certainly didn't spend much over the previous 2 years on transfers and wage structure was in the lower embers of the division. so there is scope, the problem arises if we haven't gained promotion in 2 years. Then we won't have a hope in hell of avoiding it. Still buckle up it's going to be a bumpy ride but 1 that is a lot more interesting and enjoyable than under the 2 m's.

Hanley (Loan) Marshall (£1.8m) and Rhodes (Loan) on the way to Molineux

Yes, 1877 some now saying Rhodes the new target loan or 5 mil that would be a snip I think.

and yet all we ever here from E&S is 'no activity', lol. Hanley hasn't even been mentioned by Tim Spiers. Either he's a very bad reporter, or it's all just garbage as usual.

My own feeling is that Shi is playing it cool for 2 years and working within the ffp rules (thus the original £30m investment quote) but will eventually throw massive amounts of money into it. Altho ffp is unclear, it seems this way to me. Maybe someone can elaborate?
